This is a really interesting insight and I feel like I've got somewhat of a vague idea about what the next step might entail.
I've could be wrong but I think some psychic powers like telepathy and things might be the next step in human development.
The meek is a very poor translation of the original text which reads more something akin to "the strong who yield their power" will inherit the earth. Which basically means the strong who manage to master their inner self and no act impulsively. It is about not being reactive, but rather proactive (seven habits, Stephen Cuvey), or not blindly following "pendulums" (Brian Scott).
Similar to " Blessed is the lion which the man eats, and the lion becomes man" from the gospel of Thomas.
And there are many other paradigms which have their saying about this. The bible's on is very corrupted. But then again, I find the bible to be a sacred book which has been (deliberately?) corrupted for sinister reasons.
