  1. Is KunLun Bogus?

Well it's all very interesting. $300 for two 4 hour classes is about twice as what qigong master Chunyi Lin charges for his classes which are through a community college in Minnesota -- http://springforestqigong.com Of course if you're not in Minnesota you have to fly (or drive, etc.) and stay in a hotel making it about the same cost or more. The main advantage to a class -- the real reason -- is the energy transmission from the teacher. As for "masturbation" -- in fact the WHOLE point is to convert the water (semen) into bliss-heat that ionizes into electromagnetic fields then shot out of the pineal gland as light. So slapping the monkey is the exact OPPOSITE of practicing alchemy because any physical stimulation creates water. If you feel the desire to create water -- that's the best leverage to sit in full-lotus. Just leverage that desire into an internal climax. The bliss is an internal climax but the water shot up the back is further ionized into great heat (called N/UM by the Bushmen, the human culture for 90% of human history, when every male learned how to do this). It's true that if you convert the water into bliss-light it's still "yang" and attracted to yin (female) energy. So with enough practice you can also do energy transmissions through the pineal gland, but focused through the eyes, which cause a yin-yang exchange. I do this by sitting in full-lotus all the time. The yin (electrochemical) and yang (electromagnetic) is guided by the female formless awareness -- which is also called "ancient wisdom." There are different "levels" of emptiness (or female formless awareness) but the different "levels" just refers to how much yin-yang energy you have stored up in your body and then are able to transmit into a deeper "level" of emptiness or pure consciousness (formless). The alchemical agent is the combination of the electrochemical (yin), electromagnetic (yang) and the female formless awareness. The subconscious desires (electrochemical) are guided by the harmonics of 1:2:3:4 -- 2:3 is yang and 3:4 is yin -- it's the perfect 5th and perfect 4th music harmonics as complimentary opposites (NOT western tuning). The process relies on listening to the source of the sound in your head -- which then creates ultrasound, which then ionizes the electrochemical energy, thereby creating blissful heat. This is why there is always a direct connection between sound and pure consciousness. Sound is the expression of the electrochemical or generative force energy (also called jing or lead). Alchemists state that the process starts and ends with jing. The other alternative is called the "direct path" of jnana -- this is also the secret of hinayana buddhism. The direct path relies on left-brain logic, inference of the source of the I-thought as pure consciousness. A person literally continues to resonate the source of the I-thought to it's source in the heart-mind, until the I-thought NEVER arises again through the heart-mind, but only as a direct resonance with female formless awareness. The mind is literally killed (and so is the body) but they both start up again, only now with a permanent resonance past their physical source. The person, now a jnana, has literally stopped their heart for over 10 minutes -- consciously, through logical inference -- and then the heart restarts, but now as eternal liberation. Sri Ramana Maharshi describes how this happened to him after only 9 years in solitude, thereby making him a jnana -- read his book "Talks with Sri Ramana Maharshi." Even the modern followers of Sri Ramana Maharshi do not admit that this is the moment, after he physically killed himself, that he "cut the knot" of his heart-mind and finally achieved eternal liberation or permanent sahaja samadhi. I read all of Sri Ramana Maharshi's books at the AMES south asian library at the U of Minnesota (one of the books was a hand wrought publication straight from his ashram, while he was still alive, and the book emitted this amazing vibration). For a more "Kunlun" version of these teachings -- I recommend the book on Ch'an Master Tsung Tsai: THE BONES OF THE MASTER: A Journy to Secret Mongolia by George Crane (2000). Just north of Kunlun there are Indo-European skeletons dating back to 3000 BC. (see the book "Shadow of the Silk Road"). Taoism is also thought to originate from this area as well. Central Asia is the true cross-roads of the East and West.
  2. Music in Taoist philosophy

OK I enabled the pop-up window. haha. The youtube cut out right after a measure of new age piano music so I didn't wait for the download to kick back in. I'm reading "The Bones of my Master" by George Crane. Tsang Tsai, Ch'an Buddhist monk exiled during the Cultural Revolution, returns to Inner Mongolia. He's the real thing -- traditional Chinese culture. There's a reason traditional Chinese music doesn't use western tuning but even qigong master Chunyi Lin combines western and eastern tuning for his meditation music. So the only real Harmony is female formless awareness -- the source of time as consciousness.
  3. How the West Lost Alchemy

Yeah there's a lot out there on harmonics and healing and shamanism, etc. I've corresponded with professor Joscelyn godwin about my research on yin and yang as complimentary opposites. It amazes me that this angle is still left untouched by all these occult harmonic, sacred sound analysts! This site has a lot on this issue -- geometric mean, ratios, etc. but completely ignores this violation of the commutative principle as the secret of the law of three. http://hanskayser.com/EZ/kayser2/kayser2/index.php There is one way in which Godwins' analysis is justified: The Pythagorean Lambdoma or the Law of Pythagoras frequency as inverse of string length 1/2 to 2/1, 2/3 to 3/2, etc., as a graph, is the SAME as Cantor's "domain of rational numbers." Cantor argued that the domain of real numbers is a greater infinity even though it can't be graphed, since there's a greater number of irrational roots than there are rational roots of squares. This argument would be the acceptable counter-explanation to my analysis on harmonics except that, as I've pointed out, there is a fundmental difference between geometry and number, whereby the first irrational root is not justified as a number. This fundamental difference also exposes the asymmetry built into the rational number domain (because of the comma of pythagoras), thereby disproving Cantor. Cantor defines a lower infinite as that which does NOT include -- without defining what it does include. Cantor is relying on the proof by contradiction -- the conversion of number to geometry.

OK let's review the basic math again. Simon Stevin used the geometric mean equation for equal tempered tuning as such: A/B=C/X. He assumes that the octave is twice that of the fundmental tone and then states that he can split the scale using cube root of two. 1:5/4=8/5:2. But, under the harmonic series, the octave does not use the commutative principle, which Simon Stevin relies on. So when Archytas used the same geometric mean equation he did not have 4 terms (A:B:C:X) to solve. To reduce Simon Stevin's octave to the square root of two is just 1 x 2 = square root of two x square root of two. It's the same as the algebraic equation given for the square root two -- but neither equations show the connection to solving for the number value. To achieve a number value for the square root of two equation, Archytas relied on the Babylonian geometric mean equation with only 3 terms needed (not needing 4), thereby demonstrating how math comes from music ratios. So arithmetic mean times harmonic mean equals geometric mean squared. To plug that back into Simon Stevin's equation 1 divided by 4/3 = 3/2 divided by 2. So this is the equivalent of stating that 4/3 and 3/2 ARE the square root of two, which may be justified as the "divide and average" continued fraction solution but it's NOT justified as the harmonic series which violates the commutative principle. Since the octave as string length, 1/2, does not equal the octave as square root of 2, Archytas' proof violates the arithmetic doubling of the octave as the harmonic series. Archytas relies on using string length as 3/2 and 4/3 (instead of frequency less than 2, or 2/3 and 3/4, because he has to double the octave to justify it's square root value, with the double octave, 4, having the octave value, 2, through string length tension. The same "squaring of the octave" continues using the arithmetic mean x harmonic mean = geometric mean squared equation. In other words Archtyas ONLY justifies a number value solution for the square root of two "divide and average" geometric mean by VIOLATING the complimentary opposite harmonics of the perfect fifth, 2/3, and the perfect fourth, 3/4, of the Pythagorean Tetrad -- or the yin and yang of Taoist alchemy. Again this means that time has been reduced to space as length (now measured with weight as momentum) and thereby ushering in modern science when rediscovered by Galileo, Descartes and Newton. The square root of two proof by contradiction ALSO relies on the commutative principle, just as Archytas and Simon Stevin used to solve for equal-tempered tuning. But again logically the proof by contradiction refers to geometry (area and size) NOT to length as number. It would appeared justified to equate the two (especially since you can square the "divide and average" number so that the infinite irrational converges to the number two as area) but now that it's been proven that such equation DIRECTLY VIOLATES the complimentary opposite harmonics of number as string length, we can see exactly why science is inherently destructive (not for moral reasons but for illogical reasons).

Yeah this means western music is fundamentally flawed. Instruments and music that are based on alchemy just use intuitive tuning -- for example the sitar has frets but they're adjustable. I listen to nonwestern traditional music by choice -- preferably beautiful female voices. I listen to Anuradha Paudwal all night long -- her devotional music T-series. Most world music is westernized now but there's shakuhachi Japanese flute music, gamelan, traditional Indian and Traditional Chinese music, tribal music of Africa (Dagomba drumming from Ghana, mbira thumb piano). The best music is the Bushmen female vocal singing -- or so I presume. I haven't heard much of it but Ethiopian traditional music is also from Bushmen music. Temiar healing music from Malaysia, Berber hand-clapping music, Sufi music. To practice music as alchemy you want to study the book "Taoist Yoga: Alchemy and Immortality" by Charles Luk -- it's the "small universe" practice of the 12 notes along the outside of the body to transform sound in our heads into ionized ultrasound that creates electromagnetic fields. http://springforestqigong.com sells an excellent "level 1 sitting meditation" small universe c.d. or clearance cassette for $3. Have fun. Full-lotus is just harmonics.

OK Bryan Olson, you didn't understand Bertrand Russell so well and this may be embarrassing for you. In consolation, it is true that there is a "positive solution" for the square root of two, given in the book "Number: The Language of Science" by Dantzig (praised by Einstein as the best book on number theory). The positive solution for the square root of two is only found by SQUARING the continued fraction series of 1.414 which, while an infinite irrational, does converge to 2, again when squared. This is the reason that the square root of two is not considered "transcendental" by mainstream science but, as Bertrand Russell argued, the continued fraction to solve the square root of two is not a closed converging geometric set, rather it is a COLLECTION OF THINGS or just pure geometry. This difference between calculus as geometry and algebra as number theory is also the focus of the 1999 Philosophy journal article, "Did the Greeks Discover the Irrational?" by Professors Hugly and Sayward. The proof by contradiction that combines algebra with geometry is a negative proof referring to AREA and SIDE (pure geometry notions) not the LENGTH as a algebraic NUMBER. Again this is why the square root of two is transcendental, because the algebraic proof is not logically valid. What this means is rather esoteric yet crucially important for the issue of alchemy through complimentary opposite harmonics. As I detailed Stephen Hawkings notes that in India there was no concept of the GEOMETRY being "incommensurable" or irregular. Rather the Indians (Babylonians, Chinese, etc.) understood that the divide and average continued fraction was infinite as a time-based iteration but the SACRED geometry was finite and regular (not incommensurable). Western science converts time as an infinite process to space as an infinite process but the space is IRREGULAR (asymmetric). This means that mathematics relies on symmetric-based algebraic equations but the result is a convergence on space through destructive technology. In contrast, in alchemy, time is not defined through distance but rather as something that is listened to, through complimentary opposite harmonics. Again this is why the major second, as 9/8 cubed, equals the Perfect Fifth (YANG) or 2:3 PLUS THE COMMA OF PYTHAGORAS. Archytas converted the doubling of frequency through octaves into a SQUARING of frequency so that there is now a "positive coupling" of string length (using weight) for time, now as distance. Now half the octave is the square root of two, based on 9/8 cubed, in disregard of the difference between the fifth-fourth inversions and the octave doubling. In algebra, using the harmonic series, half of the octave as string length, 2, is 1/2 -- NOT THE SQUARE ROOT OF TWO. What Archytas did is convert time as an infinite resonance which reverses itself through consciousness and instead defined space as an infinite process that is "incommensurable" or irrational. Time became a linear finite process that converges to zero or in terms of technology, the apocalypse.
  7. How the West Lost Alchemy

OK I just found an excellent article on the "comma" called "Musimatics and the Nun's Fiddle" by A. L. Leigh Silver (American Math Monthly, 1971). He notes that King-Fang in 40 B.C., China, calculated that the 53rd fifth exceeds the 31st octave by 3.6 cents (which is a logarithmic measurement). Leigh Silver then states: "We talk of two octaves as twice the size of one, three octaves as three times the size and so on. Yet the frequencies of these intervals are in the ratio 2:4:8....Base two logarithms are therefore naturally suited for musical purposes and were published in 1670, fifty-six years after Napiers tables." Leigh Silver notes that in the 19th C. Bosanquet's "Enharmonic Harmonium" used 53 notes. And of course this was Danielou's final instrument, a 53 note per octave synthesizer. My point is that ALL OF THIS MISSES THE POINT. The crucial issue is defining frequency GEOMETRICALLY as a closed system -- specifically the octaves as a geometric progression. The Law of Pythagoras states that string length is the inverse ratio of frequency, as per the DIVERGING harmonic series, not defining octaves as a geometric series. Descartes changed this harmonic series into momentum as DISTANCE using Archytas' concept of geometric mean, thereby making time a CLOSED system. So Descartes states if you throw something up twice as fast then it takes twice as long to return with force = momentum x velocity. This is the equivalent of stating the string length is twice as long for half of the frequency or twice the time. So when velocity is measured as speed by Descartes then time is converted to distance through Archytas' use of symmetric-based means from Babylon. So again if A is 1 and C is 2 as the string length or inverse ratio of the octave, then the arithmetic mean is 3/2 and the harmonic mean is 4/3 and the geometric mean squared is 2. Or mass equals the octave NOW as geometric mean with 4 times the weight creating an acceleration as velocity squared -- time as distance. This is, again, where Newton got his inverse square law. 4 times the weight stretches the string to twice the frequency - or an octave increase, thereby changing time to a measure of weight and distance (momentum) by utilizing Archytas geometric mean conversion of frequency as COMPLIMENTARY OPPOSITES. What had been frequency (A = 1 and C = 2) is now reduced to distance (A + C divided by 2) with the perfect fifth now converted to a logarithmic standard. This is often seen in the calculation of the Pythagorean comma. The 3/2 ratio is reduced to just 3 to a power and the "2" is converted to the octave as 2 to a power. Now consider an essay called "The Nature of Time" -- I'll give the source details in a bit. "It will be noted that Hill and I spoke of there being 'at least some aperiodic orbits which extend to infinity' in the classical mechanics of open systems and that we were careful not to assert that every such allowed process extending to infinity is a de facto irreversible one. Instead, we affirmed the existence of a de facto irreversibility which is not predicated on Popper's spontaneity proviso by saying: 'there always exists a class of allowed elementary processes' that are thus de factor irreversible. And for my part, I conceived of this claim as constituting an extension of Popper's recognition of the essential role of coherence in de facto irreversibilty is not conditional on Popper's finitist requirement of spontaneity, because there processes extend to 'infinity' in open systems and would hence have inverses in which matter or energy would have to come from 'infinity' coherently so as to converge upon a point." from "Frontiers of Science and Philosophy" , the "Nature of Time" is by Adolf Grunbaum. U of Pittsburgh Press, 1962. OK so Grunbaum states that a "coherent" system can not need to rely on spontaneity but can LOGICALLY reverse time as an infinite open system. That's EXACTLY what the complimentary opposites as resonance does -- uses COHERENCE to resonate as an open system to time as logical inference of consciousness -- a POSITIVE proof, not needing spontaneity. For Western science time has been converted to mass which enables greater force as defined by distance and weight and space. For nonwestern complimentary opposite harmonics time can be reversed with no need of force -- just coherence.

Hey Jeff I ate 3 BULBS of garlic in 12 hours -- it completely destroyed the flu! I also did the below following research as a follow up to the article you posted. Thanks and happy holidays. "How Birds Sing" by Crawford H. Greenewalt, Scientific American, Nov., 1969 has the secret of "positive coupling" so that an increase in membrane tension increases frequency but also retracts the membrane from the air tube thereby increasing amplitude. A normal resonant chamber has an exponential decrease in amplitude as harmonics increase exponentially with increase in tension or string length inverse to frequency. The secret again is waveform with it being a pyramid, tetrahedron, spirochete, vortex or full-lotus body position, that must be measured from logical inference complimentary opposites. For Descartes a body thrown up vertically with twice the velocity takes twice the time to descend. This is force(t) = momentum x velocity. To convert this back to Archtyas -- mass = the square root of momentum x velocity just as string length or geometric mean equals the square root of arithmetic mean times harmonic mean. Leibniz used work as Fs = mv(squared) divided by two -- which is equating arithmetic mean with harmonic mean as an average. So, like the secret of bird song, this also is a "positive coupling" because normally the Law of Pythagoras states that twice the string length = 1/2 the frequency. So the longer the string the lower the frequency, as an inverse ratio. The secret of Archytas was that geometric mean changes the harmonic mean to arithmetic by using WEIGHT for geometric mean and in classical physics this means momentum and velocity HIDE the complimentary opposites because weight is the average of the extremes. So twice the velocity is Archytas' "twice the string length" or 3/2 (Arithmetic Mean) x 4/3 (Harmonic Mean) = 2 which also means 1/2 the frequency. But since it's also geometric mean squared the same new "positive coupling" creates an increase in string length as momentum or amplitude and an increase in frequency NOW AS TENSION from weight. This is where Newton got his "inverse square law" with 4 times the weight (or pressure) stretching the string length to twice the frequency, again in contrast to the law of Pythagoras stating that twice the string length would be half the frequency. What Einstein did was just consider that at the speed of light the change in velocity © now just converges at its own maximum (so it's c squared) while the weight or momentum changes as mass. Again Einstein is relying on mass which was originally weight as frequency turned into amplitude as string length -- the concepts combined as geometric mean to create mass while the concept of complimentary opposites was lost. But the "positive coupling" of natural resonance whereby subharmonics of frequency create a significant increase in amplitude, as biology professor Brian Goodwin details in his "Temporal Order of Cells" book, indicates not the use of weight as mass, with geometric mean, but instead the change of wave-form with nonlinear feedback that actually diverges to consciousness or what some biologists call "sound-pictures." This positive coupling, instead of being based on weight, is simply using the complimentary opposite harmonics and is modeled in science as the Time-Frequency Uncertainty Principle.

Here it is distributed: http://www.mind-energy.net/archives/264-Ag...-Harmonics.html OK I just had a long conversation with my relative who is an engineer -- about this research of mine. He described how in his work there are amazing examples of huge energy systems that have a "natural frequency" resonance which must be avoided since it will cause the system to self-destruct. He mentioned one engineer who specialized in harmonics and even used a tuning fork to fix a system that had always broken down every 3 years. Another system he described was designed to work by acoustics but never became commercially feasible. This type of analysis misses the point of what I'm getting at -- the West defines frequency as a materialistic phenomenon, the vibration of an object, using symmetric-based measurements (divide and average, and doubling of harmonics for geometric mean). But if we are honest about frequency we need to recognize that the overtones are not based on symmetry but rather complimentary opposites. That in fact the West has a psychological imbalance -- with a patriarchal use of technology, through left-brain and right hand dominance. It would appear that what I'm advocating is right-brain dominant -- through nonwestern music, but in fact the logical inference of harmonics relies on left-brain analysis. Only the results of the logical inference are not repeatable because the results are beyond time itself! Pure consciousness is also not something "neutral" but in fact is female since it's listened to as the complimnetary opposite source of the one or the I-thought. So the West may seem practical but psychologically it's cut off from this female formless awareness foundation and the trajectory of the West is increasing tension and materialistic destruction. This is not to say that technology is not part of Nature, only that there is also something beyond technology which is the foundation of Nature: pure consciousness. To resonate with consciousness is to go the opposite direction of Western technology and it's an experiential practice of physiology and light synchronization and bending of spacetime. While this path is unrealistic in a modern environment since it involves a deeper transformation of psychology, the process of seeming results inherently relies on a foundation that is more solid than the structure of science.

Yeah well I'm glad you all are still courageous enough to approach me in direct interaction. Perception -- usually, for modern humans -- is dependent on awareness translated into words. In fact Gurdjieff uses "awareness" in this way as well, just as Mahayana Buddhism uses the term "wisdom." But in yoga there is something called DIRECT PERCEPTION which is literally the electromagnetic fields emanating from and into the pineal gland which the brain then directly translates into knowledge. What is perceived in DIRECT PERCEPTION is FEMALE FORMLESS AWARENESS which can BEND SPACE-TIME and be translated into ANY TYPE OF ENERGY OR MATTER. So the perception can be translated into words, images, sounds, etc. Now then we have to ask what's the difference between formless awareness as a general absolute that contains all spacetime, all energy-matter -- pure consciousness that is always already the true reality and different levels of consciousness or as Gurdjieff states -- "potentials of consciousness" or as the Mahayana Buddhists state: "different levels of emptiness." Essentially the alchemical agent is the combination of the postive-negative-neutral forces or electromagnetic-electrochemical-consciousness dynamics. There's just a different expression of the three with different levels of awareness. What enables your ego awareness to see the future or bend spacetime is to what extent the ego "empties out" or resonates with pure consciousness as DIRECT PERCEPTION. So this process of "different levels of awareness" is guided by our SUBCONSCIOUS projection of electrochemical energy which is either lost or turned into fluid or it's transduced -- ionized by ultrasound into blissful heat and electromagnetic energy. The aura as electromagnetic energy is then projected which as light -- or shen -- bends spacetime, just like a blackhole bends spacetime as light is sucked into the blackhole. In fact it's now known that blackholes are considered the ultimate information "supercomputers" but the Bekenstein Bound has proven that blackholes are translated into a holographic paradigm resonating as the Pythagorean Theorem -- which of course is based on harmonics. To put this differently DARK ENERGY is called "baryonic acoustic oscillations" -- the "baryonic" is assumed to be matter but remains unknown yet the "acoustic oscillations" is the acknowledgement by science that SOUND as pressure or phonons (quantum chaos vibrations) is still unmeasurable. So it is that consciousness can not be contained by any "bound" -- the universe self-organizes through overtone resonance, as the mystics have achieved. When the electromagnetic fields of the body-mind are strong enough then no food, no water and no sleep are needed. The top of the head gets soft just like a baby, the hands and feet breathe as ionization of chemicals -- direct intake of oxygen -- while the body remains full of electromagnetic energy. Water is created in the brain as "reverse electrolysis" and this water then flows down through the roof of the mouth as the "ambrosia" -- the golden nectar. The book "Taoist Yoga: Alchemy and Immortality" trans. by Charles Luk gives the details. Then a vortex is experienced that bends spacetime itself. Telepathy becomes the norm as does telekinesis. But even a little bit of salt tastes like total poison while in this rariefied state that communes with the Cosmic Mother. As the light radiates from the pineal gland then a person actually restores their body to younger years -- time is bent. A man in China was in the NY Times obituary in the 1950s as being on government records going back 250 years!! He just practiced qigong while selling herbs in the mountains. He had something like 14 wives.

  12. Secrets of Female Formless Awareness

The difference between conceptual new age "syncretic" b.s. and real nondualism is that resonance needs to work through complimentary opposites -- not through left-brain language. So the PROPHET stated that Allah (tongue to roof of mouth to connect front, yin and back, yang energy channels) would not leave him because the PROPHET had The Sun in his right hand (left eye) and the Moon in his left hand (the right eye) resonating back to the left side of the cerebellum then activating the parasympathetic nervous system so that electrochemicals could be turned into electromagnetic energy. This is why the PROPHET ate less than two meals a day and also fasted frequently. The end of this article on the eyes and how their connected to the cerebellum states "no one knows why" the right cerebrum processing of left-field visual information (and left-body information) connects to the left cerebellum. Nonwestern music answers the mystery -- not science. http://hubel.med.harvard.edu/b15.htm Complimentary opposites are the secret to resonating with the source of reality -- beyond spirit-light, beyond time, beyond energy: Female Formless Awareness.
  13. Secrets of Female Formless Awareness

OK again this is physiological -- which enables TOTAL RELEASE -- nothing is bottled up. so you sit in full-lotus and someone else's lower emotions are perceived by the electromagnetic aura emanating from the pineal gland. The other person then takes in your bliss-light (for example when the old man I live with goes to use the bathroom I can feel him sucking out my energy). So then I sit in full-lotus -- and his lower emotions (lust, anger, fear, sadness, worry) then get sucked in through my lower tan tien energy center (which is basically the stomach). His lower emotions are YIN and my bliss-light is YANG -- it's an automatic natural resonance enabled by female formless awareness. Then as I sit in full-lotus these emotions are processed by the organs aligned with the electrochemical energy. So if someone's consciousness is focused in their sex center then while they're sucking in my bliss-light -- if it's a MAN -- then they're converting that bliss-light back into semen energy for ejaculation. As this energy keeps getting sucked out of me then it starts to pull down on my sex center since their consciousness is focused on turning the bliss-light into fluid. Keep in mind that when a man discharges his nervous system switches to the sympathetic or STRESS system while a female climax STAYS IN THE PARASYMPATHETIC SYSTEM -- that's the basic difference between full-lotus and the typical male processing of testosterone. So you just keep sitting in the full-lotus and this then sucks up their sex energy more and so you can shoot out more bliss light at them. After a while the only alternative for such a man is to go jack off or lose a load -- because THAT'S WHERE HIS CONSCIOUSNESS IS FOCUSED. Nevertheless he has been charged up with energy (although usually confused -- possibly thinking I'm gay or something). Now the same thing happens for anger (liver) and worry (pancreas) and sadness (lungs) and fear (kidneys). Even the bliss is heart energy as overexcitement but the bliss gets grounded as EARTH energy in the heart-mind or what's also called Essential Nature or Female Formless Awareness. Just read "Taoist Yoga: Alchemy and Immortality" trans. by Charles Luk for details.
  14. Interview with Lin's Master

Back to the Source An Interview with the Venerable Tripitaka Master Hsuan Hua Conducted by Karl Ray [Originally published in Shambala Review, Volume 5, Numbers 1 & 2, Winter 1976, pp. 26-28.] Tripitaka Master Hsuan Hua (also named An Tz'u and To Lun) was born on the sixteenth day of the third month, lunar calendar, in 1918. His father, Pai Fu-bai, was a farmer the Shuang-ch'eng District of northeastern China. The Master was the youngest of eight children. After the Second World War the Master traveled three thousand miles to Nan Hua Monastery in Canton Province to pay his respects to the Venerable Master Hsu Yun, who was then one hundred and nine years old. When he arrived at Nan Hua, the two masters greeted on another; the Venerable Master Hsu Yun recognized the Master's attainment, and transmitted the wonderful mind seal to him, making him the Ninth Patriarch of the Wei Yang lineage, and asked him to serve as the Director of the Nan Hua Institute for the Study of the Vinaya. In 1950, he resigned his post at Nan Hua Monastery and journeyed to Hong Kong where he lived in a mountainside cave in the New Territories. He personally established two temples and a lecture hall and helped to bring about the construction of many others. He dwelt in Hong Kong for twelve years, during which time many people were influenced by his arduous cultivation and awesome manner to take refuge with the Triple Jewel and support the propagation of the Buddhadharma. In 1962, he carried the Buddha's Dharma banner farther west to the shores of America where he took up residence in San Francisco and patiently waited for past causes to ripen and bear their fruit. With tireless vigor the Master has finely planted the roots of Dharma in Western soil so that it can become self-perpetuating The following interview was conducted at Gold Mountain Monastery, San Francisco, Ca., which was founded by the Master. Karl Ray: The first question I would like to ask is based on an article in which you suggest that Buddhists forget sectarian lines. Can you suggest practical steps that Buddhist organizations can take to bring this about? The Master: Before the Buddha came into the world, there was no Buddhism. After the Buddha appeared, Buddhism came into being, but there was not as yet any division into sects or schools. Sectarianism is a limited view, a view of small scope, and cannot represent Buddhism in its entirety. The complete substance of Buddhism, the totality, admits no such divisions. When you divide thetotality of Buddhism into sects and schools, you merely split it into fragments. In order to understand Buddhism in its totality, one must eliminate views of sects and schools and return to original Buddhism. One must return to the root and go back to the source. That brings me to a question about the different teachings taught here at Gold Mountain. I understand that you teach five different schools, including the Ch 'an School, the Teaching School, the Vinaya School, the Secret School, and the Pure Land School. Can they all be taught like this together? Do they all belong to the original corpus of Buddhist teachings? The Five Schools were created by Buddhist disciples who had nothing to do and wanted to find something with which to occupy their time. The Five Schools all issued from Buddhism. Since they came forth from Buddhism, they can return to Buddhism as well. Although the Five Schools serve different purposes, their ultimate destination is the same. It is said: There is only one road back to the source, But there are many expedient ways to reach it. Although there are five different schools, they are still included within one "Buddhism." If you want to understand the totality of Buddhism, you need not necessarily divide it up into schools or sects. Originally there were no such divisions. Why make trouble when there is none? Why be divisive and cause people to have even more false thoughts than they already have? People think that the Five Schools are something really special and wonderful. In fact, they have never departed from Buddhism itself. It's just like the government of a country. The government is made up of different departments. There's a Department of Health, a Department of Economics, a State Department, a Department of the Interior, and so forth. People may not realize that all these different departments are under a single government. All they recognize is the department, and they don't recognize the government as a whole. Their outlook is mistaken. Now, we wish to move from the branches back to the roots. In the analogy, the roots are the government, and the branches are the various departments. People should no abandon the roots and cling to the branches. If you only see the individual departments and fail to recognize the goverment, you will never be able to understand the problems faced by the country as a whole. You'll have no idea what theya re all about. Then one should feel free to pursue any or all of the teachings? Of course. Religion shouldn't be allowed to tie one up. And if one chooses to follow only one certain school, can one reach the goal that all of them aim for? All roads lead to Rome. All roads come to San Francisco. All roads will take you to New York. You may ask, "Can I get to New York by this road?" but you would do better to ask yourself, "Will I walk that road or not?" You mentioned that the goal of Buddhism is the same for all schools. What is that goal? The goal ultimately is to return to a place where there is "nothing to get." You go to a place where there is no more road, and then you stop going. You go no further. What are bitter practices?* [*k'u heng: the twelve beneficial ascetic practices recommended by the Buddha, e.g., sleeping sitting up, taking only one meal a day before noon, wearing only three layers of clothing, drinking only unadulterated water after the noon hour, etc. The more general ones are meditating, practicing the Vinaya, etc.] Bitter practices are just what people don't like, what they don't want to do. That's why you don't come here and practice them, you'll notice. Because I don't want to? Because you are afraid! But I don't know what they are yet! Bitter practices, in general, are those which people are not willing to endure. That's why you don't want to practice them, either. Is it not possible that in ordinary life, in life as we are living it in our everyday world, that there are many things that are bitter practices, that we choose to do even though we don't want to? If you are involved in them, you won't realize it. The bitter practices we are discussing now are ones which are visible and which everyone can see. No one can see the internal hardships people face, and although they don't want to undergo them, they are forced to do so anyway. The external practices that everyone can see and that are suitable to undertake are those which most people do not wish to endure. I often say, To endure suffering is to end suffering; To enjoy blessings is to exhaust one's blessings. I'm not sure I understand the relationship between an individual's suffering and the suffering of others. Does taking on bitter practices relieve the suffering of others? There is such a relationship in that circumstance, yes. Are these practices for everyone or only for monks? Everybody can practice them. I'd like to ask something about the Pure land because it seems to me to be one of the most neglected aspects of Buddhism in the West, unlike in the East. The question is, is the heaven in the Pure land-if I am correct in using the term-similar to the Christian heaven? Fundamentally there is no heaven and there is no Pure Land. People imagine a heaven and a heaven exists. They imagine the existence of a Pure Land and a Pure Land exists. The Pure Land Dharma door was spoken by the Buddha in order to teach you to do away with your false thoughts. It is intended to lead you to a realization of the pure, inherently wonderful True Suchness nature. At the ultimate point, when you have no false thoughts or confused ideas, you arrive at the Pure Land. Whoever can do away with their false thoughts can reach the Land of Ultimate Bliss. Whoever cannot do that is still in the Evil World of the Five Turbidities. So, heaven is the same. We imagine how fine and wonderful heaven must be, but only on the basis of what we have heard. We also imagine the Pure Land to be as the Buddha said it was. We haven't yet seen it ourselves, except in our imaginations. As I see it, the Pure Land Dharma-door is taught only for the sake of causing you to purify your mind. That is the Pure Land. If your mind has no confused ideas, that is heaven. If you look for it elsewhere, you only show your greed. That's one of the most beautiful definitions I 've ever heard of the Pure Land. But it's the worst explanation ever given! It seems the most sensible. The really good explanation is impossible to give. If it were a really good explanation, there'd be no way to convey it to you. Anything that can be said is not ultimate. If it can be explained, it doesn't "have it." I've never heard as good a one either. (Laughter) In other words, what is eliminated in this definition of the Pure Land is what has so often been ascribed to it as "otherworldly power. " "Other-power" (t'a li) just refers to the power of Amitabha Buddha. "Self-power" (tse li) refers to your own ability to recite the name of Amitabha Buddha. Using "vow-power" you borrow the power of Amitabha Buddha's vows to escort you to the Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. This comes from relying on the power of Amitabha Buddha's vows, but the vow-power of Amitabha Buddha and the vow-power of every individual is just the same; it is of one kind. If you can purify your mind, then you will become one with Amitabha Buddha. If you can purify your mind, the Land of Ultimate Bliss appears right in front of you. It is especially important that you cut off all desire. All your desirous thoughts, just cut them off so that you think of nothing whatsoever. If you can stop all thoughts of sexual desire, have no greedy, hateful, or ignorant thoughts, then Amitabha's power is your power as well; they are two and yet not two; not two and yet two. Basically, there is no distinction, but living beings have to find something to do where there is nothing to be done, that's all. Does not this explanation of the Pure Land conflict with the tantric practices of using sexual powers? Are they two different ways that one must choose between, or can they be practiced simultaneously? There is no contradiction. As for one who practices tantra, if he has no sexual desire, it is all right. If he has desire, then he is just the same as a common person. In other words, in the tantric practice one must also be detached from sexual desire? Most definitely, yes. There must be no thoughts of sexual desire. If you have desire, you are just the same as a common person, and you will have children just the same as everyone else. That's for certain! Can you have children without desire, without attachment? You'd have to be a piece of wood! A piece of wood has no attachment. But a piece of wood doesn't have children, does it? To do the tantric practices, one must neither be a piece of wood nor have desire. It is really not easy. Because it is so difficult, it is extremely dangerous. But most people like it, and use it to cover up their own "inner conflicts." That brings up the question. of the teacher-disciple relationship. Can one practice Buddhism without a teacher or as the Indians say, a "guru?" It takes a little longer. But it's not impossible? That depends on the root-nature of the individual. What do you think of the prospects for Buddhism in America ? Buddhism is like a seed. In Asia, it no longer exists. The seed has come to the West. Having come to the West, of course it will take root and grow. After growing large, it will eventually pass away in the West as well. Then it will go on from there to yet another world. This is one of the natural tendencies of the Buddhadharma. It may happen that in five hundred years or perhaps a thousand years--it's not certain how long it will be--Buddhism may go to the moon. I was just going to ask, you said "world " and not "another country." That's what you meant? Yes, yes! I think I'll let you off now. You'll liberate me? But I am liberating you! (Laughter) I thank you. The questions were stupid. Were the questions stupid or were the answers stupid? The questions. Stupidity and wisdom are basically the same. When you reverse stupidity, it becomes wisdom. It's like the palm and the back of one's hand. Turn it over, and then you've got it. If you are interested, feel free to make an appointment at any time to come and discuss things. Thank you. Maybe you can help me not be afraid of bitter practices? That's easy! 15. Interview with Lin's Master

Wood is actually the liver energy but it's closely related to water -- the kidney reproductive energy. The book "Taoist Yoga" states that if a meditator keeps scattering wood and water energy through the eyes -- then it creates astigmatism, redness in the eyes, etc. I'm like -- yep that's me! haha. Of course Mantak Chia teaches how to cycle wood and water energy back into the body because a lot of "mind yoga" meditators (like Western priests, and Japanese Zen) do not activate their wood and water energy enough causing prostate cancer, etc. So there's at least a "double entrendre" to not being a piece of wood.
  16. Secrets of Female Formless Awareness

Thanks for the recommendation. Unfortunately most "kora" music has been westernized -- translated into a structure based on equal-tempered tuning, as the appropriately named "Symmetric Orchestra" reveals: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toumani_Diabat%C3%A9 Traditional mbira music from Zimbabwe is AWESOME. haha.
  17. Kunlun Cleansing

Yeah I was just reading Mantak Chia's Sexual Energy cultivation book -- "the Big Draw" the Big Lock, etc. The full-lotus does that stuff automatically. I did have the baby spot come back to me at my deepest meditation training.

Well telling people to chop off their heads!? haha. That's about as serious as it gets. http://online.sfsu.edu/~rone/Buddhism/VenH...rdedSayings.htm

  20. Kunlun Cleansing

Oops this is spam: Yeah I experimented with salvia as part of my http://breakingopenthehead.com posting. Drugs are electrochemical. So when I smoke salvia I would have say 6 internal climaxes. I really opened up the body channels. The experiment of course was Salvia while on 3rd Eye full-lotus -- who's going to win. So first I chewed. Then I smoked. Then I smoked 10 x standardized. My friends had done every other kind of drug and 10x scared them to death. One hit and that was it -- their spirit flew out of their body! So I'm curious. The Salvia is TRYING to pull my spirit out of my body and it's half way out of my body while I'm in full-lotus. I'm laughing at the 10x. So I then do 17x. The person I buy it from says he smokes 60x. He shows me the gram. He says he just does one hit maybe once a month. Strong stuff. I smoked about 10 hits of the 17 x the first night. I blacked out several times but since I was in full-lotus I would come to while still upright. At first I was completely disoriented - the whole world was a dream, including my life -- all totally unreal. Then the second night I tried less strong hits -- just had tons of internal climaxes, slowly building up the energy. Finally I black out but when I come to I'm not disoriented and I find myself saying: "Finally I've opened my third eye!" Feeling stupid I proceed to check this truth. I hold my palms in front of my face -- I have a black wool hat covering my eyes which are closed in a pitch black room. Nevertheless I can see rainbows around my hands! It was awesome and after every salvia hit -- once I started blacking out -- I kept a journal. I was totally cognizant of this experience. Anyway I tried to replicate it but just kept blacking out with nothing happening -- more internal climaxes while in full-lotus. I go to sleep and have this amazing dream about this art work that was in my breakfast room as a kid. I've NEVER acknowledged this artwork consciously -- I would just stare at it as a kid. This was the first time I consciously thought of it -- it was psychedelic stitch work from the KUNA people of Panama. I posted the link at http://breakingopenthehead.com. Anyway the KUNA smoke pot as their sacred herb and they also drink nonsweetened chocolate every night -- like 3 glasses -- this cures them of all heart disease, stroke, etc. Well I finished off that gram of 17x on the third night -- just more internal climaxes and black outs. I did more research. Blackouts is the highest salvia level -- level 6. There's no going past it. This dude that runs a salvia website tried DMT while on Salvia. He sees "elves" while on DMT and also elves while on Salvia -- only when he did them together the SALVIA elves took over the DMT elves. The Salvia elves were stronger so that the DMT elves had their body parts changed and their clothing changed. Anyway this makes sense as the scientists state salvia is the strongest psychotropic gram per gram yet it doesn't work via the same DMT process. Scientists think it's more like THC -- a carbon-based high. So maybe my dream of the THC-induced art work -- MOLA artwork makes sense! This is the first time I thought of this connection. haha. http://www.galenfrysinger.com/mola_panama.htm In contrast HARMONICS creates electromagnetic fields more than electrochemical fields. Tai Chi makes electromagnetic fields while full-lotus qigong takes those electromagnetic fields and uses them for SHEN or light-spirit travel through the top of the head. The top of the head literally gets soft -- just like a baby's -- and literally opens up. Also you can "breathe" through your palms and the center of your feet -- it's an ionization breathing. Also water is created in your third eye through a reverse electrolysis process -- called the "ambrosia." This is all described in TAOIST YOGA - it's called "immortal breathing." -- around chapter 10. I achieved this for a few days. It's very wild stuff.
  21. Who is David Shen Verdesi and what can he do?

Well if Madonna says to piss on my feet in the shower....! Can females do this? haha. anyway I'm glad this is the garlic thread versus Lin's "tea" in Staten Island thread. haha. I've ate several cloves of garlic tonight. Goes great with that xmas chocolate and keeps the coworkers away! haha. Still if Madonna tells me to piss on my feet in the shower... hmm. It's tempting but, nah, well who knows. haha.
  22. Can Kunlun be lost?

It sounds like Max is not teaching energy tranmission -- except through the eyes. That's how I currently practice energy transmission. Once the third eye energy channels are open then it is true that peoples' lower emotions due get sucked up through the full-lotus and then shot back out at the person as bliss-light transmission as guided by the consciousness or female formless awareness. This source or female formless awareness is the only real HARMONY and it's beyond spacetime -- it's what enables power but the power has to be stored in the body in order for it to be built up. From listening to the Max radio interview it's pretty clear he works to open up peoples' third eye as soon as he thinks they can handle it in conjunction with that person harmonizing their own energy, etc. Then he teaches people to work on storing their own energy, through celibacy, a minimal diet (to maintain an electromagnetic field rather than an electrochemical field), etc. This is called a "modified bigu" diet. Only by storing up the energy can the third eye be opened up FURTHER. As the third eye opens up it is true that powers will naturally come with this. When I was doing my intensive training under qigong master Chunyi Lin I went 8 days on only half a glass of water yet I was never hungry and needed less sleep as I practiced. I had entered "bigu." At the end of that I could see dead spirits, and I healed my mom of a serious leg condition so she doesn't need surgical stockings. But the electromagnetic fields shooting out of my third eye were so strong that I also had telepathy, telekinesis and precognition and I accidently pulled this old lady's spirit out of her head. She was fine but she did bawl for at least 15 minutes straight. I had never touched her. Anyway my energy was freaking people out and me as well -- I had gone too fast -- so I stopped practicing but then qigong master chunyi Lin touched his finger to my forehead and shot bliss-light into the center of my brain. Ever since it's been permanent and I can flex my pineal gland at will. I even stopped practicing for a couple months to see if the magnetic bliss in the center of my brain would go away and it didn't. But my power has never been as strong as it was when I did my training although I do have more AWARENESS of how lower emotions of people around me are transformed in my own body and then shot out of my third eye as bliss-light. I've also read one book a day for the past 7 years (since my intensive training) just to be able to compare my experiences with whats out there. This is just a natural process of the female formless awareness which is always already our true state of peace and the source of love -- based out of the heart.
  23. Interview with Lin's Master

Not to be a piece of wood. Yeah he's not joking.
  24. .

As far as Masters posting on forums. Qigong master Chunyi Lin and Jim Nance do PHONE healing. The voice is the "generative force" or bliss energy -- and the phone is a really good way to do a transmission. The best is eye to eye of course. Neither is available over the computer really. This is why I listened to Max's radio interview -- while I really saw no point in watching the videos. I'll watch them when I get a chance as the John Chang video is certainly inspiring! haha. There's a difference between inspiration and energy tranmission. For example click on the "IN THE NEWS" section of http://springforestqigong.com There's 3 free radio interviews with qigong master Chunyi Lin. In the final one he does a phone healing with the D.J. It's pretty cool. See here's an example of the "group phone healings" that Master Chunyi Lin is doing. http://www.learningstrategies.com/forum/sh...age=1#Post64295
  25. .

Just finished the radio talk. It was hilarious. I'm sitting in full-lotus. My energy is building up. The young African-American female next to me turns towards me and looks in my eyes -- I shoot bliss-light into her and we both smile big blissful smile. Then Max states this is an eye-to-eye transmission. I'm like yep. Then she does it again and and we have an "O at a D" - after staring into each others eyes, right when Max is talking about the bliss is like an orgasm. Then she actually puts on porn and on the video this lady is singing while this big African-American stud is doing the various positions with her. My new friend wants me to watch it so I can shoot my yang bliss-light into her. We keep this up as I'm listening to Max. haha. Finally to our right this old African-American dude notices and my new friend and I just start giggling. We had another "O at a D" after about 45 minutes of full-lotus on my part. haha. Yeah what Max is doing is exactly what I inferred from how you all described it and I had posted previously up above.
