  1. The limits of free speech

That context your talking about is the very nature of racism. That division. I get exactly what you are saying about being different than others in looks and cultural differences an genetic background. The issue is the behaviour of human kind towards each other regarding the issue of differences and genetic background. On your comment about hope... P.s. racist behavior doesn't make one racist, a racist is a person who deliberately treats others based on their opinion of that person or groups race. Good or bad. Distinguishing it, is the key to changing things because pointing things out helps us become aware of them. Most white people I've come across if they realize racism consciously, don't consciously want to make the effort to alter their behaviour and generalizations of other cultures. They just treat "them" with kid gloves so as to not be offensive. As if being offensive is the worst sin you can do, the fact you treat someone differently cause their race or act uncomfortably around them is a constant reminder. I was adopted by white people, proud of their Polish heritage. I was special, gifted, etc it's why they took interest in me. I learned racism by asking by having a crush on a girl and having her grandfather explain that we weren't supposed to mix. That it was against God and he even pointed out bible verses and made logical arguments. My adopted father found out and said we were to treat each other equally, and care about all human beings no matter where they come from or what they look like. He told me although his parents were polish, he himself was adopted, as well as his other son, my brother. He never hired anyone that wasn't white and always had someone keep an eye on me, although I never stole things or misbehave. I was too busy trying to be liked by them because I loved them a lot. His wife always was afraid of me and told me to talk proper english, spanking me til I would say things the "right way." Even calling her mom caused her to flinch. When we went out she would introduce my brother as her son, then say she and her husband had adopted me. The truth of the matter is, racism is also in how we treat each other. Because of her detached attitude from me, I didn't feel loved as a son, kind of somehow like I just was there and alien. But we're on good terms, she sent a book a few weeks back. She just doesn't realize what she does or how it could be offensive. To her I'm the other son, somehow set apart. That distinction is painful on lots levels. An I tell that story so you see how it's all thru America. How it's in everyday things. They weren't racist deliberately their beliefs and actions were racist. I point them out so as to draw the line between racism and what is racist. Some blAcks I've met are so beaten down by it there's an undercurrent of their spirit's desire to not be broken, that the ego takes any opportunity to gain the power it's robbed of. That's how the cycle I see continues.

Glad you distinguish that I'm not critical of you as a person. On this forum people identify their views with themselves, it starts lots of trouble. Your post says that exert is by a black woman, as to give credibility somehow to your statement. That's a form of racism, you've distinguished her because of her race and there y attempted to use race to make your point valid. I use personal experiences an haven't read one person do that here do that it's all idealistic or philosophical stuff but it lacks Soul. It's why I was critical of your post. Nothing against you personally, you probably don't even consider what you did racist cause it wasn't intended with harm. Still it is what it is.
  3. So any advice on Taoist spirit sealing?
  4. The limits of free speech

Here because I'm finding what you say to be immeasurably naive. No disrespect but you are sounding like a complete ignorant person to me. Like you live in a bubble where your world is great and assume the rest of the world is that way. A frog in a well cannot conceive of the ocean. Moral: Some ignorant people know nothing aside from their own world. Your kind of idealism is the worse there is, it completely denies the existence of the problem in hopes of creating a world without that problem. Like people who don't think of death, to comfort themselves. Most people who suffer racism's spirit is broken so much they try to ignore it, the fight goes out of them and they just try to get along and let the every day racism slide. But there's others who have spirit and internal strent, to say "No that's not right." A person who tries to use one scenario of a persecuted race to justify the perpetuation of racism towards those individuals is just trying to ignore the obvious and avoid their feelings on the subject. I've seen it before, I see it in you now. Truth is, justification of a white hate protest is morally wrong. You can lawyer it all you want to yourself, convince yourself that well maybe it's the antiprotestors fault for being in the wrong place so it's on them cause the Hate group got their permit to protest. Dude logic is there but the spirit, the heart, the moral good is long gone.

Here's what vision of the world as it could be in views of race, it's from a song. Powerful Empire Cast People been talking about it We won't just stand here in silence Can't stop the fire from rising Rising Ooh Ooh People don't you be afraid So many innocents slain This is an era for change Change And Malcolm's probably turning in his grave Every shade was beautifully made And Powerful There's so much strength in you and me Powerful A breathe away from victory I matter You matter We matter, all I matter You matter We matter, all Powerful Powerful I see a colorful future Where skin don't define any human And stars are the only thing shooting Shooting, wow oh Mothers that bury their child How can we sit there and hide Change comes when all take a stand now Stand up Stand up Martin's speech still echoes in my brain Every shade was beautifully made And Powerful There's so much strength in you and me Powerful A breathe away from victory I matter You matter We matter, all I matter You matter We matter, all Powerful Powerful Oh Oh, Oh Oh, Oh.Oh Oh Oh, Oh Oh, Oh.Oh Oh Oh, Oh Oh, Oh.Oh Powerful There's so much strength in you and me Powerful A breathe away from victory I matter You matter We matter, all I matter You matter We matter, all Powerful Powerful Here's the song

Thats how racism thrives. It does enough good so it seems to outweigh the bad. Blind people being healed is great. One instructor of mine was blind, and a bjt of a racist. Lol but she had a good heart. Til the day she died she complained how I wasn't the white man with brown hair, she pictured as her perfect heir. But her grandson wasn't ever interested and some universal force pressured us together despite our dislike for each other in some situations. She also was an amputee and my other instructor took care of her. He instructed us both, but after a while he wanted to recharge himself an passed me to her for a bit be for she passed. R. Elaine K.K, an B.D.F the3rd, I assisted with them for years learning about ego and compassion and human spirit and developing my natural gifts. They said I was a nuisance but one th a was necessary for them personally to cultivate. Only now am I realizing what they meant. To overcome their personality prejudices, they needed someone so different and representative of what they were taught to hate. That way they could learn love and understanding and compassion from a nonego perspective. Boom epiphany. Thanks for whoever made this thread and the people who wrote up til this point. It helped me realize my teachers genuinely hated me but over time learned to discipline that hate out of themselves. Might not be logical.

For them it is more than racism, it's protection from outsiders not just because of race it's also survival to prevent from being diseased. It's a form of racism and xenophobia as well as medical precautions. The issue of racism is how it keeps people separated and retracts from the equality of dignity. Makes one lesser and the other higher. I personally was raised by whites, spent time in the system as a foster child, spent time with biological Puerto Rican family. I've seen things from most every ugly angle an American has from wealthy to poverty to medium class because my weird life situations have put me to being all of those. Mansion, nice home in suburbs, private schools, public schools, streets, the hood, the trailer park, etc been there done most of that. Seen from almost walks of life. In the suburbs,I was told by other kids parents I was not to play with their children - no reason whatsoever other than being different skin wise. In private school, I was treated all because of my parents however still if I did anything not "white" it was deemed improper. In public school.and in daily life, people are attracted to me because of their idea of what type of black stereotype I am. In one town I stayed in the police openly wear the confederate flag as part of their uniforms. It's been dangerous for me to step foot outside my door the last week or so. Every time I do, policeman drives passed within 10 minutes. I've a clean record, no outstanding tickets or anything but I've been tArgeted over people who were white and known to meth dealers. Etc This is the America we live in. Someone once said I'm here playing victim, I'm clarifying that I'm showing example of the country we live in from Montana to Florida. These are t meant to garner pity but to show you to open your eyes to the truth. Just cause you don't see it or think it's not that bad because you don't go thru it. Man you just don't know. Oh those are small things I posted btw. But have any of you lived thru that? Come on people. Saying racist deserve free speech is like saying rapist need a second chance on the street. I say all life is precious, but somethings just need to be either locked away or eliminAted from the human species as a whole. Rapist take lot from some person, not just physically but spiritually, mentally, emotionally. Blacks have been raped of their dignity and opportunity here and even now she. Something is said about it there's an argument. Most of y'all are familiAr with the notion that if a foreign object injuries something, it has to be removed so it can be healed. That's what those racist protesters are fighting for, to keep the foreign objects in the Wound of a people who have been hurt. I didn't mean to offend anyone with the rape comparison, I'm.emphasizing a point. An yes I know what I'm taking about on both rape and racism.
  17. The limits of free speech

Ill say it, those white groups seek to remind and dominate black Americans. To maintain a subordination of them and provoke them, by antagonizing..they also genuinely believe they are better and celebrate that. It's messed up. The subconscious white racist almost always tries to trivialize and put down the black side. Most blacks try to live life peacefully but still run into racism daily, brushing it aside as how things are. Yes restoring people of only Nepal genetic background is racist. That's racism, treatment of people based on background for good or bad.
  18. The limits of free speech

You might not go that far because you don't see it for what it is. There's no assumption, people play devils advocate know they're on the wrong side by saying it's devils advocate and are openly trying to manipulate the view point of others by getting them to connect so see it from the other side. As an empAth I view other sides all the time. When I say people defending hate groups freedom of speech is cause of racism, subconsciously or consciously, it's not an assumption an observation of countless people. I don't count you gullible, I count you idealistic. You probably haven't experienced this stuff but hAve good ideAs on what it might be. It's like the difference between masturbation and actual sex. Masturbation feels good an buildup sex in our minds, but when we have seen, that's the real deal. Might not be as good as we thought during masturbating but its the reality. That being said, it takes idealism to go forward but idealism tempered with realism. That's what changes things from the way they were to the way they can be. assuming someone is assuming something then judging their assumptions, is hypocritical. Most people don't reveals it though because they're caught up in their idea of things. As a friend, I point this out to you Aetherous, I know you feel you mean well but it on my makes it worse by adding to the legitimacy of the "devils side". I'm not high minded and don't know lots of quotes but I know that I'm pointing this out to help, not attack, to plant a seed for true equality and fulfillment of what you said the spirit. So I know on this board I need to say I'm not attacking you, so there's no misunderstanding.
  19. What does this mean?

I was in similar boat as you People get up because you put out the vibe that you don't want negativity around you and it conflicts with the crud in them. Because of your strong energy it literally rubs them the wrong way causing them, not you, to move away. A fix is to instead focusing on removing negativity in yourself, focus on dealing with it as it comes. Develop a type of adaptation speed, as opposed to see wall that pushes things away. It's a useful skill you have, but know that it's better to not deny or background ish the darkness but to literally transform it and rebalance it. You'll be alright. On empathy here try these things. Conscious Utilization, Sensing, Turning on an off Sense your hand, sense your stomach, then sense anyone or anything around you. When your done, return your sense to yourself by sensing your hand or body. This assists with deliberately utilising empathy. Learning to sense outside your individualized self, to outside. Then how to return to yourself. This helps build your deliberate use of your gift. Connection,Absorbing,Projecting Now try to sense your hand, then with your empathy really connect to your hand and pull on it empathicly. Don't worry bout feeling it as much as the action side of it. Then after a bit put your focus on your hand and connect again, this time let yourself deliberately flow into your hand. Projecting empathicly your self. It's funny to put in words but when you make the effort, it mind a resolves itself so just try it is my best advice. Not your every, not your chi, but whatever it is that's you when you empathicly sensed earlier and took from your hand, try to give this time. You'll notice the subtlety in practice. Now for the last bit. Empathicly connect, then just share their feeling without taking anything or giving anything. It's difficult to describe it but it's what I suggest you get Down when you talk to your exgf. She is pulling you in for connection, you can honor that but you don't have to take her stuff into you. If she tries sending it to you unknowingly during your connection you can try this. When feeling something hurtful or painful as an empath, we can take time to examine it. Just Connect to the pain or negativity its without absorbing it, an we can relax our mind and for lack of better wording we can literally become conscious of it by focusing on it in a relaxed way. It will play out as a mental imagery, or some type of sensation that can be kind of empathicly "dug into" til it changes from negative to positive. Usually this empowers the person and the empath,in a way that may be unconscious to the other person. It also might give the empath a hint as to how to assist the other person. These are things I've learned and feel good bout sharing, hopefully they help you or someone reading this post.

  21. The limits of free speech

There's morality to think about. Is it right or wrong to hate another group based on your opinions of their skin color or background. The answer is obvious to most everyone. Only those who secretly dance that line inside themselves argue for free speech and the right to peacefully protest for some inherently racist group. Black Lives Matter is because some people are tired of being victimized and speak up about it. White cops being prejudice isn't a new issue, Confederate artifacts being props for racist and signs for racism isn't a new issue. They are only in the spotlight because now people are being caught on camera being racist. Only now are people actually giving a damn and doing something about it because they see it on a tv or vid or livestream. It's a call for dignity and equality in our country, our towns, cities, places people of color reside. Most of the hate and trashing is done in fact by whites, it's true. So it is whAt it is. We have freedom of speech in this country but for anyone to defend open racism, and take the side of a white supremacist group and their right to freely speak, that's just because inside they probably are racist too. An no I'm not talking bout American soldiers of all colors an creeds who put their lives on the line for all of us. They do it so we can be equal and live freely or at least thats what I hear from everyone of them I talk to. Hell even the racist soldier once told me "I fought with n@22 by my side, in that moment we wasn't black or white, we were soldiers fighting for our country." I asked why he was racist, an he said, "cause none of them n$'3' really care what we do for them." I told him outright, ".there's lots of people of all colours who didn't care." He called me an asshole and bought me a drink, I'm cultivating so I didn't drink but I didn't want to be rude so I told.him I'd buy an got myself what I wanted. Either way he said I was right. Then we got to talking bout different things bout how race is a moral issue more than a rights issue, but that people want to blame others for their lack of happiness so one tries to put another down and another tries to gain power over the other. The race war is already here, but it's not black vs white. It's human vs racist.
  22. Exorcism

Boom, I don't know you but I like your view on things. It makes sense entirely that priesthood and pastors, etc are a system of societal control over the spirituality of humanity. It's strange, heck I've been called a natural shaman by some people though I don't practice much animism or whatever it's called. I tend to do things and later find out there's a practice or technique or name for it, but they come and go naturally. I often do things but then get laughed at or told I'm not supposed to because I wasn't connected to a lineage or a school or taught by someone how to properly do them. An even worse it seems like people who have trained years and obtain rank get uppity with me when I discuss my person practice with them saying I don't have the qualifications to do things or they try to tell me to wait til I obtain rank in their system after a few years. It sounds like I'm pumping up my ego but the truth is I'm pointing out what happens to natural shamans over professional priests and pastors. Though some are genuine just saying with my experiences, the fakes or professional practitioner tend to scorn and ridicule the natural, as a way to satisfy their ego for their years of dedication while the natural is made out to be a joke. Im interested in more of your view on natural shamans, maybe im not one but something else either way I condisider myself just a human being who does what human beings are capable of doing, some have talent with piano, some have talent with athletics, etc it's how we're made. Anyhowplease pm me if you don't mind sharing it possibly discussing it with me. I agree that power isn't wrong, but the societal taboo again tends to state that unless you've obtain social positioning that your power is wrong or evil. We humans are weird creatures. Like chimpanzees in social hierarchies, deciding who can do what. Strange. Also good metaphor on power with your cat. Real power does require dedication and self sacrifice for more than social pleasantries. To ZYD, thank you very much that is very helpful. People wanting to develop power is not bad. Everyone wants power, subconsciously or consciously. The issue is there's different types of power. Some might say, Evil power amplifies the self. while others say, good power amplifies the spirit. Personally I say power is neutral and bends whichever way it's directed but only after you bend.

So was that correct on his to get generate that completeness you have, please pm me the response. Even if it's a no. Actually I have learned quite a lot from him. I tend to learn from different people and yet I retain my own views of things. He's actually done a thread for my benefit on fajin. Him and Wells taught me some of the different meanings of Fajin. Before that I didn't know them but I practiced them in my own way. It's interesting. Anyhow I sent you a private message. I've humbled myself and am ready to quit practicing everything else to learn what you are teaching. I might be unworthy though, but I'm willing to do what it takes to be worthy. I want to develop that doneness, completeness I sense from you. Not just sensing it. It's another reason I want to learn,I sense things and at times my body reproduces things if I focus. But I want to genuinely develop something for keeps, not just passing like most things have been. What generates a qi field in your type of study, what is wei qi? I try getting the answers from what I sensed and that's all I got about how you generate that field. Also it says it's yin on the outside fed by the yang of the body. Could you elaborate on that? I shut my thinking off and function from my intention directly, an those words and even mental image of the words Wei Qi came to me. As well as a type of breathing where I hold perenium up, tongue to palate on inhale, then tongue to back of mouth on exhale and relaxing perenium as well as tightening dantian.
