  1. Lower Dan Tien Question

after a while, the heat reached the kidney area, and then further up the spine. sometimes, it feels like my forehead is on fire as well
  2. Hello all, I found myself in a funk lately and had abandoned my qigong practice, among other things. Yesterday I started practicing my qigong form again, and it felt great. I felt happy, charged, and full of vitality -- something that was missing this last month. Just a reminder that no matter what life throws at you, it's always important to pick up the pieces and start over again. And in that reconnection, I realized that some of the pieces were there waiting for me, right where I left them.
  3. Spring Forest vs Yan Xin Qigong

I'd be interested in hearing any answers as well. From what little I have experienced of YXQ it is fairly visualization-heavy. The two are not very similar. I have been practicing SFQ for around 1 year, and I really like it. I'd also be particularly interested in hearing from anyone if the two systems works synergistically? Xiang Gong is another simple, medical-oriented system that may warrant some interest.
  4. MCO in astral

Is this possible? I've played around with energy in lucid dreams before...the energy was very intense. So if someone is on the astral, does that mean that their 'blockages' aren't as pronounced as in the physical, so someone could achieve the MCO there or other 'higher level' practices that are not able to achieved yet in physical body?
  5. Qigong: Only Mindful Movements?

For example, In Spring Forest Qigong, during Moving of Yin and Yang' you visualize a column of light running through the body, and then you cycle the hands through the column...So there is definitely a visualization component to the SFQ form. After consistent practice, you will feel chi. There are other visualizations in the exercises as well.
  6. water filter(s)

Zero Water is quite good, despite being in infomercials.
  7. Does anyone on this forum have any experience with Master Qing Chuan Wang of of Honolulu, Hawaii? Purportedly, he was a student of Pei Xi Rong and teaches "a contemporary form of Wudang qigong", Shing Ling Mei Qigong. http://www.wudangqigong.com/ Many Thanks!
  8. Have you seen the accompanying DVD? http://www.masterwu.net/MasterWuOrbitDVD.html
  9. Spring Forest Qigong has a good reputation on this forum and elsewhere. Although I have practiced the level 1 standing exercises for some time, I am unable to comment on the SFQ Small Universe practice. Perhaps others here who have used it could elaborate a little more on it? Anyways here is a link to the product http://www.springforestqigong.com/index.php/meditation-cds-and-downloads/#small-universe-60
  10. Life After Death? Life After Life?

Thank you for sharing your NDE experience. This closely resembles one of my own OBEs
  11. .

Thanks for the post. Could you recommend (or provide a link) the products you have used. I was looking online just now for some and there are various types.
  12. This is QiGong, right?

why post videos in the first place? Other than to satisfy the DBZ/Super Saiyan-wannabes?
  13. Really? From what I've experienced, I think Case was way ahead of his time
  14. Regarding contacting the instructor, She responded to a question of mine within a day or two. It was very helpful. I'm certain you will receive an answer
  15. After I become a Great Adept I'm going to create a splinter group!
  16. If I finish all the modules can I call myself an adept?
  17. I'm quitting cultivation practice to become a pokemon master instead. Both disciplines require sacrifice, hard work, and 1000s of hours of training. I think ultimately the benefits of being a pokemon master outweigh the benefits of becoming an energy master. What do you Bums think of that?

  19. No. But I was accustomed to energy work prior to pursuing qigong. After my first or second time doing SFQ, I could feel chi along the front channel and the hands esoecially
  20. I've been doing SFQ standing exercises for a few months now without ever trying the small universe yet. I intend to build up the LDT well in advance of trying the small universe, and I have to say that the SFQ standing exercises are starting to create some definite signs of energy down there. During sitting meditations, I am able to re-direct focus in the LDT and get a mild heat and sometimes energy too. So I think that the standing exercises are potent in themselves. But I'm no expert yet
  21. Channeling Chi (celestial) and Goosebumps

I've been noticing lately that when I focus on my LDT it feels like the hair around my navel stands up
  22. I don't think there is any info online beyond step 1 anyways. Not to my knowledge
  23. Spring Forest Qigong - questions

Several of the foundation standing exercises are available on its official Youtube channel. The DVD is not that much money, even on a limited budget
  24. Practicing in Lucid Dreaming

One time during a lucid dream I decided to do a chakra/energy meditation. It was probably the most intense energetic experience I've had. It was more amplified than in the physical for sure!
