  2. If you like isometrics, you'll probably like dynamic tension at least as much, if not more.

     

    Dynamic tension is movement under tension, kind of like dynamic isometrics. You don't use external resistance, but you build internal resistance instead, but unlike in isometric exercise, you move in that state. From my experience it has tremendous effect. It's like strength training x10 without weights. Intuitively I feel that you can learn how to lift a car without ever touching a weight or a rubber band in your life. It can be done anywhere.

     

    There is one warning though -- dynamic tension tends to excite your system a lot, so you need to spend at least the same or double the time deeply relaxing after the exercise.

     

    Now, with exercise like isometric horse stance, there are subtle benefits that are ignored by the physicalists. Physicalists look for things like strength, but what they don't understand is the role of psyche and expression. What isometrics develop is a sense of comfort within one's body and a relaxed comfort within exertion. Isometric exercise develops better neuro-muscular control, to use the western lingo. It may not be "strength" in the western sense, but it helps expressiveness. If you understand the role of expressiveness in life and in a fighting match, then you'll know why it's very important.

     

    The problem is that training expressiveness at a subtle level is a looong time endeavor and it doesn't give obvious results right away. Some exercise give you instant benefit after even 3 days. Then you think -- aha that's good and useful. But others give benefit after 1 week, but it's very very subtle! So sensitive people notice a very subtle but important benefit, and keep going. Then after many years there is a big benefit that even insensitive people can notice too. But if a numb person tries some exercise and the subtlety of the benefit escapes them, it seems to them as if there is no benefit at all, and then, logically it makes no sense to practice that for 5 years in the hopes of there MAYBE being some benefit or maybe not, when you got this exercise right here that gave you obvious benefit after 3 days.

  3. Isometric holds are sort of out of favor as found to increase strength only in a limited range of motion within 10 to 20 degrees of where the hold is performed. The cardiologists don't like them as tend to spike blood pressure quickly especially as many beginners tend to hold their breath. Practice a bit a zhan zhuang myself so not saying I'm personally against it.

  4. There is no Argument my dear brother there are only facts. I know what My lineages have suggested as diet and part of it is in fact to eat Meat. Again its not done all the time. But yes there are Meats one can eat & also a way to eat it & a way to prepare it & a Way to Bless it & clear the Karmic effects.

     

    Again there is no argument, You want to be vegetarian so be it : ) more power to you.

     

    But please do not tell folks that it causes Kundalini syndrome etc cause that is just not true. It can IF they do not have the proper methods or are not doing the the specific practices etc. But I know plenty who eat meat who are healthy and live long & have plenty of energy and are some of the best healers on the planet.

     

    Have you considered what Mahakala eats?

    That would make him full of kundalini syndrome and Chi sickness according to your belief cause technically he is not just "Vegetarian". But he seems to be doing just fine with the Universes.

     

    I am happy for you that you choose not to eat meat. As I said before more power to you.

     

    Go beyond everything including diet. The Tantric Heart Sees God in everything not just the Veggie.

     

    I am not telling you to eat meat nor would I But I am however stating that in SOME cases its not producing the negative effects you claimed.

    Most tibetan masters are infact NOT vegetarian. Most eat Yak and drink Milk & eggs and butter etc & Small meats etc.

     

    My lineage in Nyingma goes back to Pema and the diet infact was Beef & Yak . Ofcourse Moderation is key. And Fasting plays big role. And yes once one has plenty of Prana & tummo one can go few days or months with out food. Usually in retreat they drink plenty of teas that have huge effect on the body's detox process.

     

    Most lineages eat the remnants of their masters crushed up (Bones, Hair etc) this would also no longer make them "Vegetarian".

     

    Anyhow to each their own learn what your body needs and do your "Path"

     

    For some Vegetarian works for others no follow your heart

    end of story.

  5. Again this is not in ALL cases my dear brother.

     

    I do not suffer from Kundalini Syndrome and My channels are not "slowed" down.

     

    Neither are those of my teachers.

     

    To each their own. You have to be careful to lump everything into a category that is definite.

     

    Things are relative especially in Tantra. There is only ONE absolute and that absolute is as much in that piece of meat, animal, shit, piss, Veggie, Gold, etc as it is in You.

     

    I do not force people to eat meat however If a student has a condition and needs more grounding then i might suggest it just like my gurus suggested to me.

    Ask yourself? Why did Abraham Moses Jesus Muhammad and 99% of all the powerful Taoist, Native shamans & Tibetan yogis & Lamas eat Meat? Also Many Tantric in india also eat meat. Why?

     

    Do only what your heart tells you & what your body & Soul truly need. if its not for you than do not eat it.

     

    I will tell you this if you are really serious about Tummo & Kundalini you will have to feed it.

    We all learn from our exp and Teachers---and the argument could be made that all those masters you listed did not have meat as the main part of the diet or at all in some cases.
