  1. Had some computerproblems so I couldnt see the whole clip. But what I got to see was very interesting.

I was very surprised to see olive oil be all the way down the list next to cola! This makes me not quite trust his research... He must have been very selctive in what olive oil brands he included. I was also very surprised to see that Cola actually got a number higher than 0...

Also, I would very much like to see superfoods like Spirulina and Kamut grass compared to his list!

In norway we have a general government guideline for people to eat at least 2 portions of fruit and 5 portions of vegetables a day. I just calculated the nutrient ingredients of one teaspoon Purely Greens(from Pure Planet) and realized this was enough to get all the nutritients from the governments guidlines. ONE teaspoon...

This is the way i eat and I am a bodybuilder

  2. I guess I am not alone in lamenting his passing. The original Kung Fu series was a bright spot in my awful childhood. I bought the first season on DVD and became flooded with pleasant memories. The second season was almost as good as the first, and by the third and final season, the writers had become entirely bankrupt. Nevertheless, it was the only means of capturing quality entertainment with some quality wisdom thrown in. "Cloud Shadow" was probably the finest depiction of a Buddhist theory of consciousness that had ever been popularized, and I wept when I watched it again. The promise of self-possession and peace of mind that this show presented for a young grade-schooler never left me. I can't imagine how my life would have turned out had this vision not wielded its gentle influence. It definitely made me a better person.

Hey Blasto Thanks for posting that!

  3. Hello everyone,

I want to share an experience I had a couple months ago in and after wuji stance standing meditation practice at the end of my cih-kung session.

I have recently been experiencing really clear and thoughtless standing zen mediation, and in this particular practice session I had a revelation occur to me.

When I was thoughtless in meditation, I 'saw' that the idea that common humans think of as *I*, or *you*, are not accurate descriptions of life. I saw that what I normally think of as Me (or any *I*, actually) is not a unique and separate entity. What I saw was a being who couldn't exist without infinite factors from outside me. And that he wouldn't even exist as he knows himself to be without all of these factors. I saw that in fact, that which is outside of my body (all of Earth - all nations - all everything - all space, planets, galaxies, etc) is actually intimately married to him.

And I 'saw' that somehow the idea of *I* is a misperception, or a inaccurate way of seeing myself. I saw that I could not be, without the world. And that the world could not be as it is without me. So in a sense I saw the world like a very large creature, and what I think of as *Me* is like a appendage of that creature.

I 'saw' a very real intertwining with all of reality, and I saw that nothing I do doesn't effect everything. And that there is nothing I can do that ever will not effect everything.

I came away from that experience with the words, "Harm to One is Harm to All" very strongly resounding inside my mind-heart, as a reminder.

I have in the past been a very, very individuality-centric person. I won't say I've been a selfish jerk, but I have valued the idea of individuality a LOT. And to me that very idea of individuality is based in the assumption that we are separate entities, that are not effecting the world around us. And that all comes down to our definitions (or assumed definitions) of the words "I" and "you", and related words based on the concepts that exists as natural, inherent offshoots of these two base concepts.

In that meditation, I 'saw' that the above bolded line simply isn't true. Quite the contrary; I saw that nothing I do isn't effecting everything. But I 'saw' that most people trained from birth in the concepts of *I* and *you* are existing within certain assumptions about who we are that aren't accurate. I saw that these assumptions are causing humanity many many of its problems, as it assumes separation.

It has been a very meaningful revelation for me. I will carry the words, "Harm to One is Harm to All" with me where ever I go now.

What do you think, and why do you think it?

    nice exp of oneness

  4. Quote from "Achieving Oneness With The Higher Soul" by Master Choa Kok Sui

    Page 21

"... The soul is a spiritual energy with consciousness. It is a being of divine intelligence, divine love, divine power. Imagine that you have a pitcher of water. The water in the pitcher represents the higher soul, which is spiritual energy with consciousness. In order to grow and evolve, the higher soul extends a portion of itself down to the lower worlds. Imagine that you pour the water to an empty cup. The cup symbolizes the body. The water in the cup symbolizes the incarnated soul. The higher soul and incarnated soul are interconnected. At the same time, they are one. When a person lives a life of chaos, the incarnated soul gets disconnected from the higher soul. The incarnated soul becomes a lost soul. ........ The incarnated soul, manifested as you, is a small portion of your higher soul. Unfortunately, when the lower soul incarnates, in many instances it leads a life of uncontrolled passion. Out of ignorance of its true nature, it undergoes a lot of suffering because it identifies with the body and emotions. ...."

    This is truth

    thanks for posting brother

  5. First off, I know that evil is just a label and doesn't exist. It only exists by saying something is good. Anyways for the purpose of my question I will use evil as something that would prevent us from living a spiritually healthy life or from reaching immortality so to speak.

Now I have a story that has brought me to this question. My best friend had recently told me a story about using metaphysics in a negative way. He's a Christian and has read up a bit about metaphysics over the last few years. Anyways one day he was upset at his ex-wife. I guess she's making life miserable for him. So he decided that he wanted her to get killed in a car wreck. He told me that he had concentrated for about two or three weeks on her dieing in a car wreck. He said that when he would concentrate on her dieing in a car wreck he would go into a deep concentration. To me it sounded like a trance or something. He said there was days at work where he didnt talk to anyone because he was really deep in his head focusing on the car wreck. Anyways after doing this for two or three weeks he had decided it was a bad idea to make his kids motherless. So for a week more he had focused against her being in a car wreck. He genuinely ment it too. He was regretting that he had even started focusing her on being killed in a car wreck. Anyways after repenting for a week and focusing against it, his ex-wife had gotten into a car wreck. However, she wasn't killed, she just broke a leg.

Some of you will probably read this and think, "Yeah right!". I gotta say though, my friend doesn't lie and he does have some spiritual connection that I do not see in most people. He has always had a very strong mind.

Anyways I'm worried this path that he's taking with metaphysics. I was reading about Tao immortality. I read how people who do not cultivate correctly or use their energy in the wrong way become ghosts.

So I guess what my question is.... with Taoism there is immortality to work towards. It can be something positive for the soul. What is there to be gained from metaphysics? Could it be that the only path that metaphysics takes you to is an immortal ghost?

energy follows thought ---It is in giving that you receive --he will learn his lesson one day---this is a very foolish thing he did!! he will Not become an immortal ghost that is suppositious nonsense! He will how ever reap what he has sown that is the universal law.

  6. Maybe before "KAP" as a "system" But before KUNDALINI??? I don't think so.

Tummo comes from Tantric Yogas from India that works directly with Kundalini.

The tibetans did not invent Tummo although they use it well.

"FIRE" practice is found in almost all alchemical schools.

    Egypt

    Greece

    India

    Indonesia

    Tibet

    Native traditions etc

    It has "its place"

    and its place is "FIRE"

you still have EARTH, WATER, AIR, VOID to deal with as well.

My suggestion to you is either you train with me and stop assuming you know everything already or go kiss a Lama's ass for 3 to 5 years and see if they actually teach you.

I recommend you read Shou Yu Liang'sbook again it has a good "tummo"

    & also Lama Yeshe's book.

    Peace

    Santiago

    Shou Yu Liang'sbook

    Fantastic book

  7. No, you are wrong! Table salt is refined which means that it contains 100% sodium cloride. Sea salt or unrefined salt contains 84 elements.

The purpose of bathing in sea salt is to detoxify the body. According to Peter Ferreira, only unrefined salt should be used.

LOL I am talking about the energy body not the physical body--if you know how to see and scan energy you can see whisch one is better for the energy body----
