  1. the warrior diet

Thank you for your post 松永道' , I think your explanation makes the most sense so far. Just like you I couldn't grasp the logic behind this warrior diet...
  2. the warrior diet

I have a question. Can smb clarify this for me pls 'cause I never understood why are people changing there diets. I understand the sick people have to change their food because some organs don't function properly anymore. But seriously if you are not sick why would anybody do all this research and changes in your daily food? Thank you.
  3. Though impressive that you have read Beelzebub's Tales (not Beezlebub's) you understood exactly the opposite my friend: First of all, "kundabuffer" is an organ that we don't have anymore as it has been removed long time ago so you can't open smth that you don't have. Second, it was meant to determine people to "see the reality upside-down" and although it served a good purpose for the moment in the history when the terrible accident happened to our planet - it turned out to be the worst invention for the humanity with devastating consequences for our souls(psyche), consequences that we can't get rid of to this very day. Third, Gurdjieff has nothing to do with the taoist practices and concepts like "cultivation/circulation of chi" etc. so why bother mentioning him at all.
  4. Hey Drew, have you actually read what Gurdjieff called Kundabuffer ? It sounds to me that you just used that reference here without knowing what u r talking about. I have read reference to Gurdjieff in an earlier post on this forum related to taoism and the Kundalini theory and again it was totally distorted. I hope the rest of the info people provide on this forum is better documented and not as misleading.
  5. tibetan medicine

For those interested in alternative medicine this is a great documentary: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=16...sjECQ&hl=en
  6. Thx for posting this - that's some cool stuff...
  7. Wang Liping in Denmark

Thank you ! The whole "lights around the head" discussion sounds really pathetic.....
  8. Eastern secret societies

To my knowledge most of the real esoteric schools are still secret and most of them are still in the East, I would say 99% of them. Some of them are actually hidden within another form of organisation. Let's say you want to learn about a certain type of method that is both rare and hidden and somehow you find the place. That knowledge could be carried by only certain individuals and even if they are part of a monastery the rest of the monks will never be told about that and so even if you asked around they just don't know about its existence. Some knowledge can be transmitted only to a certain level of being of a man. So even if they tried to give it to you - if you are not there yet you can't get it etc... Real knowledge is both limited and rare. Sometimes you can run into it by accident or maybe Karma/good luck what have you, so there is a chance. On the other hand esoteric BS is everywhere and can take any form and is even extremely contagious so if you stick around this forum and you keep your eyes opened you'll see a lot of it....Occasionally though, there's some very good stuff even here...
  9. Must See Video

wow, great stuff. Thx for the link.
  10. western magic

Hey Seth, besides interracting invisibly with the Universe and being eternally grateful can you do anything unusual? I would be very curious to see anything that you can demonstrate. Thank you.
  11. Must See Video

It's a little bit of both - they use the word "GOD" and refer to anything that is spiritual or holy so to speak.
  12. alternate nostril breathing

That sounds pretty safe. Let me know how it goes if you don't mind.
  13. alternate nostril breathing

What they teach in the beginners courses doesn't create problems because people don't do these exercises for too long and too serious. Breathing exercises are a powerfull method of tweaking your body's functions to obtain certain desired results. Doing them from a book just for good health it's totally not worthit. One of my buddy's got really close the edge with breathing experiments and luckily stopped juuust in time. He hasn't gone back to those exercises in over 8 years and I doubt that he ever will. Without a very good teacher and close supervision you could cause irreversible damage to your body and it's almost guaranteed to mean GAME OVER.
  14. The Fire Yogi

Thx for the extra explanation bro - I'm pretty sure a man with his power has quite a strong and beneficial influence on his surroundings - it's just that with my pragmatism I am thinking at a different scale for example if he taught me how to do that I would probably become a fireman or smth.....
  15. The Fire Yogi

It's very impressive and extraordinary it's just one thing I don't get - he says that he is doing it for the world's peace ? He must not be rolling in fire long enough....
  16. Lol Vaj ... thx for the tip! Never heard that one before. NOTE TO SELF -. (if the indonesian next to you smells like shit and piss - prepare to die! ).

  20. Nice post. There are a few different ways to attain your spiritual goal. One way would be to leave everything and everybody behind and enter a monastery - it could be taoist, buddist, sufi etc.....- one doesn't need much money for that that's "the way of the monk". Another way would be to stay in the society in which case you need the money - because its the nature of the beast - you gotta pay your teacher - he needs to eat just like you do - so its a fair trade he's got smth you want, you gotta pay him in return - so YOU HAVE TO MAKE MONEY. Many people however, try to combine the two ways - Stay in the society and not produce any money - which is impossible - but since so many people are trying it, slowly we created a 3rd way - THE WAY OF THE BUM. We don't have the balls to leave everything behind and become monks, we don't want to work hard to make money either - so why don't we do nothing all day long besides our precious meditation and wait until something very tasty is going to fall straight into our bowl because somebody up there just infinitely and completely loves us !
  21. mantak chia?

Wow dude! LoL. Ok.... phew... sorry, I would call it "taoist schizophrenia"... After reading all that I had to get a drink and smoke 3 cigarettes in a row to get my mind set straight...
  22. bruce lee for strength

That is a very interesting article and a great story, it's the first time I've ever heard that. I wonder if it's true though. I hope it is...
  23. bruce lee for strength

Personally I much prefer Sosai Masutatsu Oyama. The guy was undefeated proven in hundreds of fights. He could kill you with one punch and his training is simple clear and practical. I don't agree with him killing the bulls with his bare hands, but you can't deny that it is very impressive plus, they made a great barbeque later I'm sure. Oyama you got everything there - power, skill, honor, discipline. Hundreds of people are still studying his system and kicking ass in MMA. Oyama training

Yeah, he was so fast that he died when he was 32...
