really? that's surprising seeing as though supposedly none of it is real. just found these links http://articles.latimes.com/2012/aug/16/business/la-fi-mo-ebay-supernatural-ban-20120816 http://www.marketplace.org/topics/business/ebay-puts-hex-supernatural-sales btw i would never want to buy something like that, sounds like you're just asking for trouble... Spokeswoman Johnna Hoff said that buyers and sellers have complained to EBay that such transactions "often result in issues that can be difficult to resolve." not surprised!
  2. Sincere call for Help

sorry to hear about this. something cheap and easy to do is burning sage in your room, especially before bed. seems to be good at cleansing negative energy (wherever the hell it comes from) from the environment.
  3. Male Problems

some herbs that will start to build up yin jing and over time noticably increase sexual energy. ginseng, cistanche and epimedium are also very good on the yang side.
  4. Hi everyone!

    hello
  5. Tripped balls on Reishi tea last night

the signal is strongest the closest to an operating tower (in the case of wifi - router) you are. so with wifi turning off your router can have a significant effect on the amount of disruption in your field. can't do much about the neighbours etc, but with those you're generally further away, a few walls behind the strongest signal area. same goes for cordless phones where you're broadcasting your own wireless network. not much you can do about phone signals either, but providing you don't live too close to a mast it isn't half as bad as having a wifi router on in your building. OP it sounds you like you a high level of awareness-direct perception so it isn't surprising you can sense all kinds of things as well as wireless signals. personally i have wifi off, use ethernet cables and we have corded phones. this made a big difference to the wireless setup, i immediately felt it, especially in meditation. having this stuff going is doing major harm, the newer dual band routers are particularly disruptive. i would love to make a topic on the whole wireless thing, a friend who joined the forum recently has a wealth of knowledge w/ accompanying science on this issue, it's way more serious than most realise.
  6. Tripped balls on Reishi tea last night

cool anecdote! never tried reishi at such high doses, but i'm not surprised as i get very lucid dreams when taking it before bed (particularly with the purple variety). sounds like a good thing if you ask me, like some type of strong karmic cleanse with the mind opening up to more subtle materiality as it does on psychedelic mushrooms. interesting you mention the wifi as in my experience it's not particularly subtle, easily felt but maybe i'm 'sensitive' too. i'm surprised people here aren't talking about it more as it's a huge source of incoherence, having a profound impact on energy practices and constantly disrupting our field.
  7. What are you listening to?

this made my day, Mayer Hawthorne joining a legend over some great production https://soundcloud.com/empire/cool-uncle-bobby-caldwell-jack-splash-game-over-feat-mayer-hawthorne
  8. Extreme period pain

tonic herbs have a lot of hormone balancing functions, i reckon a formula like this would be helpful for such issues Endocrine Health Ingredients Chinese Ginseng root, Prepared Rehmannia root, Schizandra fruit, Eucommia bark, Dang Gui root, Cornus officinalis fruit, Chinese Yam rhizome, Goji berry, Poria sclerotium, Chinese Licorice root, Epimedium leaf, Red Jujube fruit. http://www.dragonherbs.com/prodinfo.asp?number=190
  9. What made YOU laugh today/tonight ?

    those sounds, good lord!
  10. Favourite Staple Foods

i do like the sound of giant oozing figs the local market and often lidl have some pretty good stuff though, certainly better than the main brand supermarkets.
  11. Favourite Staple Foods

no wonder Buddha got enlightened under a fig tree! hehe this year has been a bit rubbish for figs, that picture was a box from a couple of years ago. the best ones we get here come from Turkey, that whole area seems to be an amazing spot for fresh produce. would love to travel to the region and sample all the lovely fruits
  12. What is the Middle Way?

i feel like the most relevant thing for us is how does the 'middle way' of the Buddha's time translate to modern day life/culture? i am certain that your average person's idea of moderation, especially living in the midst of what's going on these days, involves FAR greater amounts of enegetic incoherence than it would have in the past. this is hugely significant for anyone aspiring to get far along the path.
  13. Favourite Staple Foods

another one for the homemade hemp milk, always use it as the base for smoothies. nut milks are fantastic too, i find a blend of different nuts (cashew for sweetness) works really well to balance out the flavour. i feel like hemp is a true star for absorbability, nutritional profile and therefore JING. amazing plant.
  14. cool, look forward to checking out the site
  15. bum here

welcome! and you're right, once the process of 'unravelling' is underway aint nought you can do to stop it, maybe slow it down at best. a lot of the time we have to in order to get anything done it's certainly something to be immensely grateful for, call it karma or whatever. it does feel unreal and like a struggle a lot of the time. all the best with your path and the disentangling.
  16. Coconut oil mouthwash

longer you go for the deeper the tissues it starts drawing stuff out from. considering the small amount of oil in the mouth, it takes a while for the osmotic action to start get any traction. too shorter time would just be equivalent to a mouth rinse/brushing your teeth.
  17. Coconut oil mouthwash

very effective for cleansing the mouth, i use sunflower oil but coconut is more pleasant for sure. when i was first doing it it started pulling nasty stuff out of the gums after a while. a good 20-30 minutes of swirling is necessary and under the tongue is a good spot for drawing things out. happy pulling!
  18. Question about mystical experiences

i feel like such experiences are deeply humbling and in my case provide extra motivation for staying on the path, regardless of the feeling of repeatedly falling on my face. not everyone has 'friends in high places' or the karma for more exotic experiences to be transpiring so easily. i take it as a strong sign, a cue to trust ever more in the experience that is far broader than our minds can fathom.
  19. Milk and bone

could also be a gut flora thing causing the reaction if things have gotten out of balance in there. so probiotic supplements or fermented foods may be another avenue to explore. i know a lot of people will say dairy is a bad food regardless, but something i've found to ring true regarding food intolerances is that they are literally an intolerance - ie an underlying energy of intolerance (aversion) in the system.
  20. Favourite Staple Foods

we're kinda in the midst of fig season now, that's a favourite right there when they're readily available. all kinds of funky goodies that are good for the system, fibre and that jammy flavour
  21. Milk and bone

masturbation (and sex) can definitely lead to digestive imbalances if the frequency/duration is too much relative to ones vitality level. the whole process as well as replacing fluids uses a considerable amount of qi and with digestion being one of the more qi intensive processes, stands to reason it wouldn't work as well when we're using up too much vital energy. need to keep the fire burning, so to speak. so with digestion being a yang/warming process, maybe warming up your milk might make it easier to digest. the bone marrow is a one of the final layers of the body to be nourished before the reproductive seed, so issues related to bones (yang jing) can certainly stem from losing/having to produce too many seeds relative to ones energy reserves. might be an idea to conserve for a few weeks (presuming you don't already) and see how the digestion fares? w.
