  1. Sexual Jing: Is It Really Limited (?)

Anciently, and especially before Civilization, it is Food. Hormones are made from fatty acids and cholesterol which people make in body. If not enough food, then trade between activity, reproductive, and thinking functions is happening. People going to be conquered are usually thus starved first. -VonKrankenhaus
  2. Experience with 2 psychics - thoughts?

Everyone has psychic ability. You can develop yours and be free. First step is getting diet and physical health very good. Unhealthy people is inconsistent perception. Maybe one time okay, another time way off, etc. I always thought people seeing psychic is a little strange - they see the value when the psychic tells them what they already know, but since it hasn't happened yet, nobody can tell the value of actual psychic predictions at the time given. Seems backwards. Is the purpose just to see if someone can actually be psychic? Or is it to know things? If to know things - why one stranger knows, but the one asking, who is more involved, does not? Actually, reality is available at all times. It's all that is ever happening - so is "accessible". -VonKrankenhaus
  3. Neiye - Section 13 - Concentration

This is a mistake. "consolidate Qi like spirits" - Spirits have no substance, but do exhibit movement and thus invisible energy of movement. Consolidate means make substance of - the substance of spirits is not physical, but is energy and movement. In the way spirits derive their "substance", which is actually "information". Passage is NOT about breathing, French "vital breath" ideas, or "packing Qi" via breathing exercises. Whole document is not an "exercise manual". -VonKrankenhaus
  4. Blue Light

Do they have any other indicators? What kind of development do they say the blue flashes indicate? -VonKrankenhaus
  5. Blue Light

This is also a side effect from too much synthetic fertilizer in vegetables. Particularly nitrogen. You seeing blue sparks and flashes. Also, these can be liberated from tissues by sudden or unusual exercise and hydration, and cause same thing. -VonKrankenhaus
  6. Wu Xing "phases" = the 5 major (visible) Planets. The YinYang of each these is the 10 days of the (Chinese) week. NeiJing Su Wen details some empirical observations and correlations, using this essentially like a "clock". Via organs function correlation timed to the appearance of the major Planets. Medicine uses to see Excess and Deficiency and understand these - using the different Wu Xing cycles. Qigong can do the same thing. Changing food can do the same thing. People make their own Wu Xing Qigong style because it is easy. Making one own 8 Trigram Qigong - some BaguaZhang/Chuan people will complain. Say in Chinese, nobody responds. They look for luggage - "bag of what?". Making "YinYang Qigong" - too silly for public to say they want this in English? Maybe. "5 Element" - that sounds sellable. Like science. So everyone uses this. -VonKrankenhaus
  7. Jing to Qi - a Technical Question

This is kidney essence or kidney Jing. That is the physical polarities that create movement in the functions associated with "Kidney" in Chinese medicine. Part of kidney essence is acquired, as by intake of food and water, etc. Some is the actual inherited structure. People who lose their kidneys from disease have changed their Yuan Jing, and thus Kidney Qi. People who recover from kidney disease or adrenal insufficiency using food or medicine have controlled their Yuan Jing. Study: "Epigenetics". So for serious Cultivation, one must know how to use food to alter inherited structure and change essence. No control of Jing = no control of Qi. -VonKrankenhaus
  8. Detecting Chi Transmission with MRI !!!

Inside the body, the fMRI is seeing the difference in magnetism between oxygenated and un-oxygenated blood. Outside of the body the fMRI is seeing the difference in magnetism either of air or something in that air. "Mind" is also not "Qi" as in Chinese medicine texts, and this is not "Qi Transmission" of any discreet physical substance. The body radiate many kinds of "bio-energy" - heat, electrical, magnetic, light, and so on - all known by science. So maybe the person's body was able to impart some magnetism, or change the magnetism, of the air around the object. Since humans do radiate magnetic fields, this would almost be expected - it's maybe just that nobody knew an fMRI would pick that up. -VonKrankenhaus
  9. Jing to Qi - a Technical Question

And most of modern civilization is composed of extremes - dietary, situational, and thus behaviors. "Medicine" is so extreme as to be injecting about 98% of all children in developed countries with the intact full male human genome derived from an aborted fetus - this is technically and actually "cannibalism". Extremes of substance in food and medicine includes extreme items such as lead and mercury and aluminum, and extremes of energy in food and medicine includes hormones, antibiotics, and actual rocket fuel. 12-16 straight years of brainwashing produces some extreme conclusions and also extreme ignorance. This is the level at which modern people want to buy "Internal Cultivation" as yet another product for personal consumptions. But the Cultivation Texts they will read were never made with such people in mind. They never existed before. To get to the old "Starting Point", for people now - much work must be done first. -VonKrankenhaus
  10. Jing to Qi - a Technical Question

In general, Qi is not any specific substance. Even in the body, Qi is movement between the poles of various polarities. There is Qi of electricity, of heat, moving water - Qi is the Movements, not the Substances. Intake of substances creates or changes polarities in the body - eat salt, this changes electrical potentials, chemical potentials, and breathing and metabolism, etc. The "strings of our marionette bodies" are Polarities. No Polarity = No Movement. -VonKrankenhaus
  11. Jing to Qi - a Technical Question

This is best suggested by the most common character "氣" - which is rice and steam, as in from cooking. In this character "氣" the radical for Water "水" is there inside the one for Rice "米". So is the one for Fire "火". In fact, this character does appear in Cultivation texts, and is most common way of writing "Qi" today too. But in the variant seen in some texts, "炁" - the top radical doesn't actually represent "Water". But the bottom is definitely the old radical for Fire. If you look, it has a few meanings, like even choking on something, but many think it means "nothing" in this context. -VonKrankenhaus
  12. Jing to Qi - a Technical Question

Traditional training takes care of that. And also - making for some really funny stories. -VonKrankenhaus
  13. Jing to Qi - a Technical Question

Jing is not always about "sexual energy" in just a biological sense. It depends on the context. "Qi" using the character showing rice and steam is about postnatal Jing, acquired Jing or resulting processes. Variants also used to say Breath, and we can see in medical texts written next to Lungs. Zhou Dunyi diagram I posted isn't showing "breath" or "steam", but the whole concept of Polarity and Movement in summary. Older character you show (炁) is often in "philosophy" or "cosmology" texts and mean something like "invisible energy" or "non-substantial energy". It is movement between the poles of any polarity and not any kind of substance. Jing is in that context any substance that produces polarities, and Qi is moving in those polarities. Also seeing "prenatal" established polarities (structures), and "postnatal" or acquired polarities - like from eating (changing structures). You change Jing, you change Qi. -VonKrankenhaus
  14. Jing to Qi - a Technical Question

Yes. Eat food. Do not have sex or think about sex, and get involve in other thinking and discernments instead. This conserves hormone precursors for use as neurotransmitters, melatonin, etc, and not androgen type hormones of sex actions. Sexual actions are costly in structure and metabolism resources. Thinkings use the same basic materials. Another way is to go opposite and develop increased capacity of both functions. But you will find the environment and "food" limits this. So that is why this science was developed about use of resources. -VonKrankenhaus
  15. Jing to Qi - a Technical Question

That is a reversal - like the insides of the trigrams for Fire and Water. And like 4 Emblems - YinYang of Yin, YinYang of Yang, etc. At the "Supreme" (obvious, total) level of the TaiJi, substance and stasis are Yin and movement and energy are Yang. -VonKrankenhaus
  16. Jing to Qi - a Technical Question

"Jing" has a few different meanings depending on context. If we consider Jing to be the Yin (substance) source of Qi, and Qi is Yang (movement) - then Jing in that context is the physical polarities from which movement (Qi) arise. Inherited polarities, like Lungs moving air. Acquired polarities, like intake of salt, which create temporary or 'moving' polarities. In medical texts, Jing is clear body fluids, especially "hormones", including those in blood. Changing hormones (Jing) changes movements and actions (Qi) and produces spirit (Shen). Cultivation texts mix these contexts drawing from both philosophical and medical sources. -VonKrankenhaus
  17. No more right-wing bullshit.

Right now across top of page is: "No more right-wing bullshit." which looks very "political". Are all other kind of "bullshit" okay? And does "right wing" mean the exact same thing in every country and area seeing this forum? I never did read any of the politics type of posts here. I joined to participate "explicitly in the context of Taoism and/or spirituality." But I can participate in this new discussion by stating that I am sorry people got into contention about political things here and maybe hurt each other or confused each other with that. Are people now being ask to take up a specific political stance drawn from American Politics situations in order to discuss Taoism here? Is it still okay to "just" or "merely" discuss Taoism here? Or must we discuss Taoism from, for example, a Maoist or Leninist dialectic or political bias? Or should the discussion of Taoism merely be anti "Trump"? I have never had any political views, but I did study much about Taoism and am in many other groups online which also discussing this and related topics. I have not joined any forums of political discussions and have little experience or knowledge of them. I know that I am not important here and also will never get any political stuff right as people believe in or want to or not, etc. So I will just do as always and watch the flow of discussion and try to go by whatever rules or restrictions (or now, politics?) are necessary to discuss Taoism here. I have no wish to offend anyone. Please advise. -VonKrankenhaus
  18. Why do YOU think the world is so messed up?

Okay. Good. And when you being who it is you truly are, consider how that was made, and of what, and according to whom. That's all I am writing about. For example, no cell in the body is not made 100% of food. Bones are. Brain is. Neurons are. So who you truly are is also "food". Whose food? Who cultivated and designed it? Why did they do it? Medicines are also "food" that is making the body and brain thinking that is being who it truly is. Whose medicines? Who designed and manufactured it? Why? What has resulted? Many, many people you do not know and are not aware of are also making you what you "truly are". Should you not also ask THEM for clarification of what you are feeling and thinking and being? -VonKrankenhaus
  19. Why do YOU think the world is so messed up?

What makes you think I am a slave to my own freedom to say that? It's like a wild assumption or something - but based on what? It is certainly possible to not be a slave at all to anything. But if you have any problem, any one health problem, any confusions - then this is not freedom. You must have freedom to be truly happy. No Health = No Freedom. No Freedom = No Happy. Always limited. Not free to interact fully in life. So first step to becoming free is to develop full health. Modern civilization is built on the exact opposite thing, for the reason I stated. Failing to surmount that, all else is just so much bullshitting. Eating refined poisons and false medicines is slavery and produces diminishment, not freedom. Being afraid to catch a disease is slavery, as is developing one from bad living one believed was real. So taking a vaccine or antibiotic - not acts of freedom. Acts of fear and slavery. Germ theory of disease is false idea. People doing these and thinking to study "cultivation" are fooling themselves. -VonKrankenhaus
  20. Why do YOU think the world is so messed up?

An examination of the reality of your own gut biome in relation to modern products and environments will show otherwise. And modern degenerative disease statistics also will show otherwise. Do you worry about infectious diseases like polio and measles and smallpox? Ever take antibiotics? Do you pay taxes to others? Are you in contracts with a government or a bank over basic things? Did you generate the ideas and concepts you use to think? Or were these developed by other people for you? Who were they? What was their motivation? Do you use money? -VonKrankenhaus
  21. Why do YOU think the world is so messed up?

It is called "civilization". Animal husbandry and agriculture being used to create large synthetic populations of abstracted domesticated humanoid slaves. This allows concentration of power and physical technology development. It is not "sustainable". It's just to accomplish a purpose, and then will be folded back up. -VonKrankenhaus
  22. Video 5: moving lines and a way to deal with them (1)

I'm interested to know how it differs. What "variations" do you see regarding YinYang, for example? And what is the source of the Movement in Wu Xing to you? What do you see as the source of the Movements in the Lo Shu? And who is teaching YinYang and Wu Xing differently from, for example, the NeiJing, or the diagram of Zhou? -VonKrankenhaus
  23. Video 5: moving lines and a way to deal with them (1)

"The" instruction? TaiJi never changed. YinYang never changed. Qi never changed. Wu Xing still same for hundreds and hundreds of years, etc. -VonKrankenhaus
  24. Video 5: moving lines and a way to deal with them (1)

TaiJi Diagram of Zhou Dunyi: This shows WuJi, TaiJi, YinYang, Wu Xing, etc. Not in experience - don't understand? -VonKrankenhaus
  25. Video 5: moving lines and a way to deal with them (1)

I don't mean TaiJiChuan. I mean Taji Philosophy. If cannot tell the difference, then yes, what I am writing is not in your experience. But it is basic thinking in Taoism - WuJi/TaiJi, YinYang, Wu Xing, Bagua, I Ching - all workings of TaiJi philosophy. You can Google Zhou Dunyi and see TaiJiTu, etc, to verify. And NeJing Su Wen also has informations about YinYang and Wu Xing applications. -VonKrankenhaus
