    Should I post this?

Not much of a gift, but it is mine to you.

I stopped my breath, maybe my heart too.

    I think so.

    I entered into Brahman.

    Void.

    Black Hole.

    Source.

    Unoriginated.

    Unconditioned.

    Uncreated.

    Potential.

    0

    Then I was reborn.

    Yowch!

    I'm,born!

I hopped and skipped upon the earth then, oh yes.

It seemed I was struck on the head by Lightning that was not lightning.

My head caught on Fire yet it was not fire.

Enormous energies coursed upwards through my body blasting the top of my head off.

    Insights poured in.

    Even some sort of dialogue.

I felt I had become a Lightning Rod.

    A Conductor.

    Between Heaven and Earth.

    A Bridge.

It happened completely by chance, and yet it happened as a result of everything that has happened and everything that will happen.

    Just like everything else.

Or perhaps there was something to that time, that place, that person.

If you ever seek to do anything to precipitate such an experience, I would advise caution.

You ought to be prepared to accept the consequences.

quick edit: Don't ever do the stoppin' yer breath thing! That would be stupid.

I felt like lightning struck my head.

    My head caught fire.

    But it wasn't lightning.

The electro magnetic sphere(s) are very mysterious.

I felt there was a grounding, and that I had become a sort of lightning rod, connecting heaven and earth.

It seemed as if enormous energies coursed through me.

    And insights, also.

There's a lot more to tell.

    Believe it or not.

It is excellent work, I concur.

I shall have to study it in more detail later, but thank you very much goat guy.

Multiple word meanings, ie puns are abundant in mystical writing.

I suppose it is an attempt to condense material into a shorter and more effective form.

Also material that is difficult to render in language.

I would like to contribute more, and will if I have time.

But would you be able to clarify who or what is meant by the term "The Most Ancient of Days?"

If the supernatural powers go ok, I would love to join you at some of those gigs, BKA.

I am working on the time travel.

    Oh yes.

I had been working on Black Sabbath already.

Didn't you notice their number 1 album?

    Number 1!

Back we go round Faerie Ring.

Mariner now doth seek El Wing!

    Ha ha ha.

Where it all gets really confusing is that past life stuff. And if it wasn't confusing enough already, lately I have been remembering my past lives more and more. In a sense of feeling like I've had one really long 500 years life or something. I take breaks though and allow myself to forget again, it's rather... trying... at times.

Perhaps it is one's time sense changing, one's idea of what constitutes time, and what constitutes the self.

    I remember and I forget.

    It is easy to forget.

    But I seek to remember.

The way of Dao is the way of remembering, always.

If your third eye were open you would be able to realize the consequences of your actions before you performed them invoking a sort of retro-causality.

Perhaps certain "events" can cause "ripples" that move both forwards and backwards in time, thus invoking the retro causality you mention.

Perhaps "causation" (which is an aspect of karma) can occur forwards and backwards in time, ie an effect in the present might be the result of a cause in the future, as much as causes in the present effect results in the future.

I suspect only a truly advanced being could effect such a thing.

You'd have to be moderately advanced to even understand it!

    Is not Karma balance?

    Is not Karma Cosmic Law?

We may struggle as if bound by it, or accept it's authority, and seek to understand it.

Perhaps it is a form of symmetry.

I'm not sure ignorant people can abuse karma in the way suggested.

If they are least reminded to do good, that's fantastic.

I do agree though, that motivation is important.

Thine eye be single and the whole body awash with light - refers to the event that occurs when through breath retention and third eye focus the heart and breathing stop - and breathing resumes straight from source.

I believe this may be correct.

It goes without saying perhaps, that it sounds like a dangerous procedure.

Would you care to elaborate, Horus?

Have you had such an experience, if you don't mind me asking?

I suspect other people have "visions" such as St. John's.

I see this is an old thread, though perhaps an interesting one.

I am not entirely unfamiliar with Christian mysticism.

Yes, yes, yes and yes, Nungali!

I'm not sure I have anything to add.

    Mercurius indeed.

I think I shall pick up a couple of those books.

I spotted you from afar, like a long lost friend.

I'm just not sure where to go from here.

I am reticent to give the details of my experiences.

I never tried to do nuthin'.

    It just happened.

    ...

  10. ...

    Hi Nungali!

Not a fan of Atlantis? That's fair enough. I was using the term to refer to a generic prehistoric civilisation.

But on further consideration I decided that there was a transcendent stream of wisdom teachings, existing beyond time and space which was typically received through direct transmission, and that this has been the case throughout history.

I too, am interested in Hermetics and the symbolism of Egypt, Greece and the Indian subcontinent.

I like to adopt a synthetic approach.

    I'm enjoying this thread.

    I'm kinda optimistic.

Seems like some sort of conscious "awakening" going on.

On my good days I even believe a cosmic tipping point of planetary awareness has already been reached.

So I'm down with Taomeow and chegg.

The fiery horse doth stomp and snort,

Now each must do just what they ought.

My goodness nungali, you are a learned fellow!

Your insights are strongly in accord with my own.

    I especially liked the picture of the Gods in Zoroastrianism;

    http://redhue.ir/img.php?image=2095_yazatas1_4vk0.jpg

Zoroastrianism is so fascinating, isn't it.

I liked the figures in the picture.

I did some research on the figures of Atar and Asha.

The one named "Asha" looked especially familiar.

    The Human Torch?

    Or the Dread Dormammu?

    Flame on!

    I wrote a poem once.

    I entitled it;

    Peerless Invocation of Thoth-Hermanubis.

ps Where did the ancients get their wisdom? "Atlantis", perhaps?

Thank you for your concern, Isimsiz Biri. There are very many things I could add.

Perhaps "entered me" is an ill choice of words.

But does not the "Holy Spirit" "enter" into some?

This happened largely in the imaginal world, yet was very real and definite.

I believe it was a blessing.

It was accompanied by a physical healing.

Your caveats are well noted, though.

But I shan't be seeking an exorcism any time soon, thank you very much.

On edit: I'll be bowing out of this thread. Please don't be upset if I don't address comments or questions directed to me personally. And please continue the fascinating discussion!
