That looks really cool, as soon as i saw that Jethro guy i couldnt help but laugh so it seems he is doing something right. I wish i had somewhere like that where i lived, i have thought about starting a meet up to do flying phoenix with people but im not qualified to teach. You know i never really see any colours doing flying phoenix, i do have quite and active pineal gland however and get trippy visual especially when im laying down to sleep. So i get some of that when i meditate but it doesnt sound the same as to what others experience, the only thing that seemed to be related is seeing what must of been quan yin in my minds eye. I dont see any of the flying phoenix chi but i just feel it instead.

FP does seem to be stronger when you have a good store of jing and are well rested... imo I see you were all talking about dreamk but i did not feel like posting although i had only just had a very interesting vivid dream which i think was influenced by fp. I have had very lucid dream for many years now and flying dreams are not uncommon. I used to get prophetic dreams sometimes very accurate, useless though and i was never grounded enough to try and change the outcom.... i dont really get that anymore perhaps very faintly and i think its due to illness. Anway i used to have flying dreams before practicing flying phoenix but not some times when i have flying dreams like i did a couple of days ago instead of just flying i actually flap my arms like a bird The dream i had it was a windy summers day along a road in the english country side at a village i used to live near, although it was not totally accurate, it was so windy i though i could fly and started flapping my arms...it was so vivid. I felt wind around my but mostly my palms of my hand, which is why i think flying phoenix might be why i was having this dreams because it felt a bit like the energy my palms emit when doing the practice and sometimes spontaneously when not practicing. I was just above cars, sticking to a road and the enviroment was changing like a proceedurally generated computer game... i made my self go high by flapping my arms... i started to make bird noises to freak out the people below me haha, but i ended up going really high up say like 50 ft perhaps more and i though this is pretty dangerous so i tried to go back down but couldnt. I tried to angle my arms to no avail, i tried to get into a ball but i just kept climbing and climbing then the dream ended. At least this time i didnt get stuck in a tree. Another reason i think that dream occured and was so vivid is because sometime i take a tincture called the flying potion which has reishi mushroom. red asparagus root, panax ginseng and shizandra berry. Its not uncommon for me to have flying dreams but when i take this stuff it can make me more lucid than usual. The guy i get it from goes by the name Nyishar you can find his site using google and his channel on youtube has some very well put together videos.

Oh is that why that geezer at work kept getting in my way and overeacting when i asked him stuff...just had this weird energy coming off of him like he was just prepared to go off on one.

Is it ok to do hand on healing for someone for free? I was told that it interfers with their karma and yours. Also i spoke to someone who is into nordic shamanism who told me he practices something called gabo which simply put is barter. It seems to me you would inprove your karma by helping other for free, you would probably get a return some where down the line and if you enjoy it why not? From a buddhist book i have been reading it says a bodhissatva should be prepared to give up everything for some on, even their body...bit extreme imo but is charity not a virtue?
  6. Flying Phoenix Chi Kung

I am not sure where i read it but apprently the flying phoenix chi works best for those who are virtuous, i really like that idea like its almost impervious to being misused.

Interesting, what bohisattva do you mean? I agree we are responsible to our reactions in some cases however i do think that in some cases such as trauma based mind control you are not responsible for your actions... feeling guilty for something you have been programmed to do imo keeps you programmed but realising it is not your fault and releasing it allows you to heal. As you probably know i mentioned that i think entities have manipulated me into self destructive addictions how ever i am now on the longest streak without these addictions and the only difference i made this time is to completely let go of responsibility and realising it is not my fault as i would not be in this situation had they not manipulated me into it. Demons archons whatever you want to call them corrupt and pevert people then need them to feel responsible for it... probably how they get dominion over your soul so you end up in some hell realm when you die. Of course it does seem paradoxical because in letting go of responsibility and saying no you are actually taking back control and responsibility.

From my Experience the flying phoenix chi does not dissipate once you stop, it seems to be stored, i have stopped practice for a few weeks and still felt the chi especially when i do mindfulness meditation. I never used to make noises of satisfaction when doing simple mindfulness meditation but since doing flying phoenix i do...kind of wish i didnt its a little embarassing, its kind of like the noise you make when something tastes really good 'mmmmmmmm'. I remember one experience i had which i mentioned earlier in the thread, i had done DVD 7 seated meditations. The following day i was cycling back from work listening to psytrance and all this energy activated and i felt amazing... way better than when i had done the meditation the day before. Infact i have noticed that sometime when i do the meditations i dont actually feel the chi that strongly but it comes back and hits me later on really intensely. As Earl Grey mentioned about it being our duty to practice as it positively affects those around us i have noticed this also, i do get people randomly wanting to hug me which tbh is for me a negative side affect of this practice.

I just did 21 reps of bending the bows and started sweating, especially down my chest. Im not the type to sweat allot so i was suprised. I wonder what causes it to happens because its not like its all that physically strenuos.

Hi, it turns out i can do at least one meditation with both hands even with a broken collar bone, the 50 10 50 meditation. My left shoulder hurts less now and i use two pillows to support both hands, im so glad i can at least do one flying phoenix meditation and it has made me appreciate this one meditation more. Yesterday whilst doing it i got into the present moment, i have allot of mental noise so that was really nice to have a clearer head and the energetic effects are still strong on such a simple meditation. I do listen to music whilst doing though otherwise i might get bored.
  11. Flying Phoenix Chi Kung

Ok i just did the 50 10 50 meditation from Dvd 2, the one where the palms face each other.... except this time only my left arm was in the correct position as my right arm is in a sling. It felt good, i even felt chi on both hands but not very intensely and there even seemed to be an exchange of energy between both hands even though they were not facing each other. I might have to try other meditations in this condition, seems like it might be worth a go even though it dampens the chi.

Who knows, perhaps you are right, i thought it was not so much about power but just they are needed for it to function properly. I definately experience a jing increase though.
  13. Flying Phoenix Chi Kung

I do take ghee along with other stuff that def helps, its not as bad as it was but i think something about serotonin and dopamine being used up excessively through porn stops the gut functioning aswell.
  14. Flying Phoenix Chi Kung

Hi , unfortunately i have broken my right collar bone so my practice has been stopped, i am waiting for surgery so hopefully i will get full function back... my right shoulder is in constant raised state, not easy to sleep either. I was wondering if it was a bad idea or not to practice with one arm? I should be better in 6 weeks, on the bright side this might be what finally helps me stop my porn addiction lol when i abstain for long periods the chi is so much stronger also my IBS improves. I did think i would beat it this time anyway because i have trained myself to recite the white tara mantra in my head anytime sexual thoughts arise along with visualising the seed syllable and it seemed to be working... but i guess this might be just that extra thing i needed. I should be more down about this but the phoenix does have to destroy itself before it is reborn and that is very much in my nature... actually if i recall that might be how i came across this chi gong in the first place as my ascendant is in scorpio i was looking into the idea of the phoenix. I just hope this doesnt affect my practice long term.
  15. Flying Phoenix Chi Kung

No but i have experienced people staring at me, also people seem to want to hug me more and im not much of a hugger haha
  16. Flying Phoenix Chi Kung

Hello, i was just thinking about how sometimes when i do the meditations i dont always feel that much chi but later on i will feel the effects sometimes even the next day so even if your not aware of it it is doing something. Which also made me wonder, how much i feel is not the whole story of what is taking place energetically...also wonder if some people are able to feel it more than others. There are also those who see auras which i cannot do. I was doing either the second or third meditation on DVD 5 short forms and on the last movement where you lower your arms with them fully stretched out it was like i hit a cloud of chi about half way down as if it was already there... i felt it more on my right arm. Sure there was something else i wanted to mention but i forget Oh yeah, on the last bit of meditation four DVD 5 short forms you hold your arms out palm facing each other as if holding a ball... in the instructions Terry says to focus so i just assumed he meant imagine a ball so i imagined a blue ball of energy and it seem to increas the flying phoenix chi which i also felt more in other parts of my body. I wonder if this would be a way for me to do healings on people by imaging blue blue energy coming from my hands... i dunno though im not sure it would be that effective, for me at least.

Just did the first med on volume 5, as soon as i went into the first position i felt this lovely energy in the right side of my brain more in the middle slightly down...felt so good so i just stood like that for a while. I take it there is no set time for how long you take to do a meditation or how long you stay in a certain position?
  18. Flying Phoenix Chi Kung

Im practicing volume 5 atm, it just occured to me that sometimes i like to put my index finger and thumb together on my left hand. Then hold it over my right shoulder, i started doing this before i ever practiced the 90 second power meditations. The first meditation this is the second position, i just felt really good to do... make me wonder why though. I think i mainly started doing it when i bless my water, saw some guy on youtube saying if your holding water bless it with the hand your not holding it with by joining the tumb and index finger and holding near the water. I do this whilst trying to love the water with my intent, this usually get my chi going and it just felt good to hold over my right shoulder. Just thought i'd share that, makes me wish i could see what was going on energetically instead of just feel it.

Hi, im not sure which meditations would help but i have IBS which is pretty much cured now despite having a certain addiction which is holding me back from being completely healed, in the past i had over come that for a time along with taking certain supplements and i was comepletely better...however i started doing silly things and it came back. My body weight was as low as 10 stone 8 and im 6ft 3 but now im at 12 stone again. Before i had to beat this addiction something to do with serotonine depletion i bet, i also couldnt eat certain things. But i also took certain supplements, now i have found so many supplements that help that im better despite not conquering my addiction. The first supplements i took were oceans alive phytoplankton, you should be able to find testimonials of people with digestive issues who say this stuff has helped, give you pretty much all the nutrition you need and is easy to absorb. The second is symprove probiotics. Now as for other supplements i have tried on and off. One is great lakes gelatin. Another is something called shilajit, a more expensive alternative to phytoplankton. I have also taken medicinal mushrooms, i believe lions mane and turkey tail were the ones that probably helped my gut. I also tried CBD oil briefly but that actually made my IBS worse, it could help you but i recommend trying the first two supplements especially the phytoplankton. Hhmmmm what else, bee pollen perhaps might have helped.

Im constantly trying to battle my sleeping pattern, tired of being nocturnal especially now the weather is so nice. But if i do flying phoenix later im just so full of energy and find it difficult to sleep, the sleep meditation on DVD 7 actually wakes me up if anything it seems.
  21. Flying Phoenix Chi Kung

For some reason i never do the 90 seconds meditation, but i tried it a few days ago and i felt great for days which i think was due to those meditations. Doing it everyday seems a bit much but if its working for you why not, they are short after all. Still i wonder if doing fp everyday is a good thing, i was thinking of having sundays as a day of rest, might actually help the energy integrate better... but i dunno.
  22. Flying Phoenix Chi Kung

Alright i might try and do the short forms everyday. By long form i take it you mean DVD 4?
  23. Flying Phoenix Chi Kung

Riding the ox, what meditations are you doing? Do you mean the short form 90 seconds power meditations on volume 5? I myself was thinking of only doing 3 meditations a day but always different so i cycle through all of them, that way i dont put a burden on myself to do too much but also because i have trouble sleeping too much fp probably doesnt help. But perhaps i should give what your doing a try.
  24. Flying Phoenix Chi Kung

Hi, i might try and catch up this thread since i havent been here for a while. But i always associate the number 37 with the flying phoenix, i have no idea why your talking about a 737 though. I just wanted to ask what is the minum recommened repetitions/time for each meditation? If i recall its 18 reps for bending the bows, 5 mins for monk gazing at moon and 7 repetitions for the last three meditations on DVD 2. When i do the second and third meditations on DVD 7 i do 3 repetitions as they take a long time for me to do. Cheers.
  25. Flying Phoenix Chi Kung

Maybe your right, although im sure i have done a meditation i had not wanted to do but got good results that surpised me.
