What I mean is that if some attention is focused on stretching (in order to open up meridians) and conditioning then an accidently fully awakened kundalini may be a speed bump since the nerves and body are more prepared to handle the energies. A person that is usually sedentary and tight may have a lot of issues.

    I drink 3 or 4 times a year and only enough to relax. I'm not a fan of alcohol because I feel awful for two or three days after.

Next time, I'll do it to the Dan tien (even though I still can't feel it) and my nuts (more JING!! ) only, at least they can't bite me

    Have you tried modifying his diet slowly? Don't act like a fanatic though, it'll put him off. My mom doesn't have any serious issues other than a heart murmur. The only thing that she'll take out of my stash is the CoQ10 and that's because she loses a lot less head hair by using it. omega-3? some biofeedback therapy? How about taking walks with him in the park when it's warmer outside

  12. I dunno. There were only three black disks that were in line vertically. I'm almost positive that these were the three treasures: jing, chi, and shen. I'm thinking that if I would have seen all seven or nine chakras, I would have seen 7 or 9 disks, or made the fractals that you mentioned. I've only been able to intentionally awaken one chakra that I know of, the air chakra. I was hoping for the earth chakra first...then again beggars can't be choosers I might try to open the lower three chakras since I think that the body might be giving me a cue as to what direction it wants to go. I've unintentionally awakened the third eye a little bit over a year ago, but it was after two weeks of drowning in adrenaline in a sleep deprived state, one week recovery, and almost 48 hours straight of computer use. I had a slight pop in my skull and lots of cold energy started to circulate and it was pretty scary

I found this on the myspace webpage of a martial artist that belongs to the Bujinkan. Most visualization exercises go way too fast for me to even develop a rough mental picture.

    In the "Root of Chinese Qigong", Dr.Yang Jwing-Ming mentions that the microcosmic orbit has a fire path and a water path. The fire path is the Yang route I think since the energy is too hot to travel inside the head and travels along the scalp. The water path is in the Yin Route and travels inside the head. The good Doctor called the reverse microcosmic orbit, the "wind path". What happens if you do the reverse great heavenly circuit? Also, it might help to do some stretching in order to open the water path and to do the Inner Smile to get you in the right frame of mind. In the book, "Pathnotes of an American Ninja Master", Dr.Glenn Morris noted that one of his students, Taffese Alemu, could change from Yang to Yin on command. I have had to drop my caloric intake so that I don't get blocked up. I've seen Dan tien crystallization mentioned on one of Michael Winn's products (I can't find it right now). Sean Denty has also mentioned that cultivators from other traditions have been put under an x-ray and what was found out was that the lower Dan Tien actually becomes a physical object.   15. Trust me. Once you start observing your own body it will become an addiction. I hadn't even been meditating and I became aware of my microcosmic orbit, the Dan tien is a bit more difficult for me. I started doing the seated stillness thing and the orbit grew almost exponentially in power Then the macrocosmic orbit opens up From my very short experience, my spine and ribcage is starting to loosen up and get stronger, I have more circulation in my legs (old frostbite injury) and they are getting stronger, an old forearm injury is starting to spasm...which I think is an indication of healing, a blockage under the sternum was cleared.

  19. This is the way that I pack as much power into the MaCO and MCO as possible. I try to get in as many taint lifts (perineum pumps) and butt crunches during an abdomen vacuum as possible, usually 9 or 10 pumps. I've given thought to getting some sort of a bag that is 15 to 20 pounds, lying down, and doing buddhist breathing with the bag on my stomach. I'm trying to cultivate as much internal power as quickly as I can safely so that I can avoid injury. Youth and vigor last to an very advanced age if the body stays capable. This is the image of TRUE health: http://wongkk.com/images-general/dragon02.jpg I've noticed that a lot of martial artists when they do visit a gym are pushing double bodyweight plus on the bench and triple bodyweight on the squat, for low repetition rather than a single, without a belt and without wraps. It shows a tremendous amount of core power. I feel I get a lot out of a class setting but it's not my preferred way of learning. I'll move slower but the hassle of trying to "feel" something in between classes when I couldn't "feel" it in the class is something I want to avoid.

  21. Also it seems that for me to be able to feel anything depends on my ability to relax into my body <---and that's only enhanced by my ability to contract. I'm making incredible progress so far, I'm probably going to have to make going to the gym a consistent habit.
  22. I felt it for a slight fraction of a second when I was at a qigong session that was led by Robert Peng. Also, in my phospenes while checking out the back of my eyelids, I saw a purple web with three black holes or black disks, the bottom one was spinning so I'm assuming that it was the dan tien and that it was activated. I've lost 10 pounds the last month just from doing the abdomen vacuum, pushing out with the buddhist breathing, and restraining myself at the table so that I can do the vacuum. Not to mention that it's gotten extremely painful to be on a full stomach. I've been doing the perineum lifts every chance that I consciously get. The spark was on the top of my head. I've been...ahem..."retaining" for two weeks. I already felt the micro and macrocosmic orbit. The micro was quite powerful for a couple of days. My legs have cleared out a lot of blockages and I'm finally beating back the candida on my tongue. I've been feeling micro sparks on my hands. My mingmen only opens up when I'm lying down though. I've been trying the five gates breathing, it's working but I've only managed to keep my mind on hands, feet, and the macrocosmic orbit (more like 4 points to me). Visualization (fantasizing) is not a strong point for me (for the exception of when I'm thinking of women...for me it works since I'm trying to feed the dan tien) so I have to feel around in my insides.
