  1. Anyone into strength training?

I don't think strength training has anything to do with spiritual development. Good for the health of the physical body (if you don't overdo it) but it will do nothing to develop the spirit.
  2. Anyone into strength training?

Yeah it shouldn't take me long.
  3. I'm not an all-knowing physicist of quantum mechanics so I can't tell you.
  4. I haven't seen any valid points made against my argument. Only a bunch of wishy washy want to live in a supernatural magic land arguments. Some of you don't seem to have a grip on reality and logic. I would define magic as "supernatural phenomenon". I would define supernatural as "something that does not have a natural, scientific, and logical explanation for its existence." If any force, phenomenon, process, event, etc. exists in our reality, then it does indeed have a natural and scientific explanation behind it. It can't just exist with no cause or explanation. There may be what would be considered "multiple realities" but in actuality it only be a part of the larger (who knows how many dimensions) reality. It wouldn't be a "different" reality. Just a different dimension. The supernatural doesn't exist, so therefore neither does magic according to the definition I gave.
  5. You are right that we as a species may never know but it will only be because of our ignorance. The fact remains that there is still a natural and real explanation for how consciousness came to be.
  6. Anyone into strength training?

I do bench pressing and bicep curls mostly. Used to be stronger than what I am now though. I've been slacking of late. Just recently got back on track.
  7. Everything is natural and has a scientific explanation. I never claimed that everything was physical. Consciousness isn't physical, love isn't physical, excitement isn't physical. However the process that cause the are.
  8. "The only reason that things like setting paper on fire, talking to the dead, and levitating into the air are considered "magic" by most people is due to the current ignorance of the scientific community." -KenBrace
  9. Magic doesn't exist. The supernatural doesn't exist. The only thing that exists is reality. Anything in reality exists because there is a physical and scientific process behind it. Therefore science can explain everything. The only reason that things like setting paper on fire, talking to the dead, and levitating into the air are considered "magic" by most people is due to the current ignorance of the scientific community.
  10. I would agree with that. It's just humanity's ignorance though. If magic exists, then it has a science. I wouldn't use the word "magic" anyway though. It tends to be tied to "supernatural" which also exist. Best not to use those words imo even if you are referring to something real and scientific.
  11. I never claimed to be able to scientifically explain every known phenomenon. I simply stated that for anything that exists, there is a physical process causing it. That includes consciousness. There is a scientific and physical process behind consciousness even though modern science hasn't yet figured it out.
  12. I don't really see how it's limited. It makes sense that any real phenomenon has a scientific and physical process behind it. If not, then it doesn't exist.
  13. If any phenomenon exists, then it has a physical process behind it that is causing it. Everything has a science behind it, regardless of whether or not it is currently understood.
  14. Uhhh... Sorry but I would have to disagree. Anything that exists, any process or phenoenon that exists, has a physical and scientific explanation behind it. If it doesn't, then it doens't exist. There is no such thing as magic.
  15. There is no such thing as magic or the supernatural.
  16. Space Cadet Panda forum dead? Why?

Bro you can't sue people because they say "F*ck you" on the internet lol.
  17. Everyone post some favorite quotes!

I don't care where I go, as long as it's forward.
  18. When Time stands still

I think the most logical answer for this occurrence is that during certain extreme moments our brains speed up and produce gamma waves. Since your thought process momentarily speeds up, time from your perspective slows down.
  19. I think the root issue behind the reason why Mo Pai causes so much debate, flame wars, etc. is because is defies the ideas, concepts, and teachings of most other (non-sense) systems. Absorbing yin chi ungrounded, making significant progress in a waking state, etc. are taught in most systems that I know of. Mo Pai says that these teachings are untrue. So basically the thousands of people practicing these useless or almost useless systems attack these claims and vise versa. Most systems agree on key points. Mo Pai is one of the few that disagree with the crowd. This is why it stands out as an odd ball and causes so much controversy.
  20. Why would JC lie about the name of the lineage/practice?
