    "Noticed" this book in my local New Age bookstore when visiting the owner to wish him merry christmas

     

    In the 1st chapter the author unintentionally discovers a teahouse and after trying to learn more from the people then has a dream about a mountain ... (yuan fen as was mentioned)

    The disgust expressed at plagiarising seems to be discouraged

    Obviously I don’t want to suspend you but a moderator request via pm for an obvious insult should not also need a post in the thread plus another post as well - all requesting the same action.

    :) Many people care more about how others feel, than how they feel themselves. ( Is this thread full of empaths ?) This comment reminded me of another thread http://thetaobums.com/topic/9164-corrupt-a-wish/?p=108503

     

    Corrupt a Wish is a somewhat fun game (a bit like kicking a sandcastle) but it tends to leave you with a feeling of:-

    "Ha Ha Ha, Yes! I successfully stuffed that persons wish .... errr. .. mmmmm .... :("

     

    Unlike the haiku chain where the joy comes from cooperative creation, not destruction.

    I can understand why you would feel that way, and after this morning, sadly there are some people where I feel that way too.

     

     

    Most of the people on TTB practice different systems, often fundamentally different and incompatible systems. Perhaps the only thing we have in common is that we are on this site together.

     

    I think most 'bums try hard to respect each others choices and try to find enough common ground to have meaningful discussions. No personal attacks is a simplification, of the more nebulous treat other members with respect.

     

    Sometimes the words we chose hurt each other - but it should never be intentional.

"Actions on Facebook tend to focus on positive social interactions," Facebook engineer Bob Baldwin said during a Reddit AMA in April. "Like is the lightest-weight way to express positive sentiment. I don't think adding a light-weight way to express negative sentiment would be that valuable."

    Fair enough, I think you answered my questions btw - I read that reply as

     

    Do you like the controversy you generate? - I don't have much respect for systems and paths that I don't see as meaningful or generating meaningful results via practice. I only respect paths that are able to be studied and validated under scientific and or medical observation.

     

    Do you want to insult people here? - I speak my mind honestly, and I try not to personally insult others in the process.

    I believe you are misquoting me here.

    99% of people on earth aren't cultivating much of anything and I intended this to mean energetically.

    Lot's of people cultivate compassion, insight, wisdom etc, energetically not so much.

    Perhaps it has nothing to do with energetics and everything to do with the personality you are projecting.

    I had hoped you might have used this opportunity to apologize for your original post here http://thetaobums.com/topic/32886-daily-timetable-of-the-quanzhen-retreat/page-8#entry506848 rather than start a thread like this.

     

    The reason was

    I read the whole comment and took it in the context of the whole thread which has had numerous reports of repeated harassment of the op. There is no reason why the moderators have to put up with attacks from your original post or sarcasm from your edited post, so you get a suspension.

    WHITE LIGHTNing method communicating with the ascended masters!
