  1. I am stook in this place where I dont know what to do to become happy. I am trying to let go of control but it just isnt happening. I have been stuck in this headspace for months now.

Example, right now I am trying to think of a physical excecise and a mediation to get the energy moving, but I can think of what I want to do. I havent felt like doing chigong in ages. If I make myself do chigong is that the ego winning?

  2. It was a monarchy and by definition arbitrary and capricious. They were defending against a perceived threat to their way of life. I'm not excusing it ... just saying. Just being Buddhist is not some kind of special pill that makes you harmless ... the Tibetans were the same ... they stayed isolated for centuries to preserve a way of life based on feudal oppression and class.

Hit the nail on the head. Humans, like other apes, naturally form large organisations and the ones at the top will likely abuse thier power.
I'm both Buddhist and a voluntaryist. Wake up and hcose whether or not you want a ruler.

A big component of adulthood is loosing ignorance and getting life experience. One can thus be an adult when it comes to relationships, handling finances, work-ethics, health etc. BUT one can be a "child" when it comes to energy work, spirits, cultivation and so on.

Physical age does not guarantee anything, especially naive dangerous curiousity of fields that one is interested in.

If you are a spiritual master, then the "care for yourself, give no sh** about others" and "I've washed my hands clean; what happens them is not my responsibility" are attitudes that are unfitting. A spiritual master should have mastered primitive egotic impulses as these, should transcend the subject limitation, and have some increased wish for the betterment of people; taking responsibility for the consequences for her actions would be a natural expression of this.

    All the best,

    Mandrake

    I find your comment antagonistic.

Are you saying you cant be a child in finance or an adult in energy work?

Mantak Chia gives warnings. he wants you to do the workshops and read the books. If you choose to only read the books thats your own business.
I recommend you dont accuse people of things without backing your accusations. You come out jealous by just randomly attacking Mantak Chia.

  4. On Saturday I am goig to European Rainbow Gathering oF the Family of Light in Greece. 10 days of banging a drum naked in the sun eating good food. No drunk people for kilometers!

For people who dont know it, its basically woodstock without the bands.

After Greece might head to the one in Germany or Netherlands.

Just finished a Taoist workshop with Kris Deva North. Everyday I will do Iron Shirt Chi Kung, Steel Body Tia Chi, microcosmic orbit, inner smile, caldron of fusion, fountain and open various pyschic channels. That and pratice the bodhran!

  5. Oh I googled this. I found packing difficult so I dont do it. I breathe with my attention on my dantian. This is how I try to breath all day long and how I meditate.
Micheal Winn gives some insite. Packign isnt dangerous, some people just do it wrong or strain themselves.

"Master Chia's warning not to hold the packed breath if strain is felt goes unheeded."

I'm going to consult my teahcer two weeks about this.

  6. hi, I also learned it from Kris. Never had any problems, only benefits.

One size doesnt fit all, there's never a concensus of opinion about anything at all.. a fuller picture is always gained by listening to a wide range of voices.

There arent many voices in here that are experienced with iron shirt.

Well now we're out in the open talking about it.

How would you describe your skin after practising?

  7. I have been practing Mantak Chia Iron Shirt methods for a few months, my teach is Kris Deva North. I am very happy I have found it as it has helped me in many ways.

    1. Helped me managed my energy more efficiently, I was getting dizzy from tantra energy practices.
    2. It feels good doing them so I do them.
    3. My skin is notably "better".
    4. I can take a beating for long periods of time.
    5. I had a scar on my chest from falling down three flights of stairs, a doctor told me it would take 10 years to heal, it was gone after a month of doing iron Shirt.
    6. The practices help me feel ground and more balanced.

I understand that some traditional Taoists would dislike his practices because he has wasternised it to make it more appealing to his audience.

There is no visable Taoist teacher to follow so I will continue reading his books and following his path. I will drop him for another teacher if I meet one in person. I am going traveling soon so if I randomly some across a Shaloin Temple I would study there.

I have been looking for people to point specifics in his tachings which are wrong. At the moment I am only seeing vague comments. At the moment I'm just considering it to be rivial from competing schools.
