Kati Posted August 12 Hey everyone I’ve been practicing Spring Forest Qigong since two years and have noticed it really helps me feel more balanced, calm, and energized. I’d love to connect with someone who’s also practicing Spring Forest Qigong For me, sharing experiences, exchanging tips, and inspiring each other makes it much easier to stay consistent and go deeper into the practice. I believe it can be so uplifting for both sides when we grow together. If this speaks to you, let’s connect and see how we can support and inspire each other on this journey! In gratitude, Kati
Nibowaka Posted August 19 (edited) Hi, I got the original Spring Forest Qigong course, circa 2002. I practiced some over the years, but SFQ became very repetitious, and I started trying various qigong systems. Lee Holden was good because his DVDs are easy to follow and there's enough variety, so you don't get bored. When Five Elements Qigong came out, I deliberated and eventually decided to try it (Learning Strategies offered a discount if you had bought the SFQ original course). I really like Five Elements; my wife practices sometimes with me and my sister-and-law likes it a lot, too. I spent last week at an Omega Institute workshop with Chunyi Lin. It will take me some time to absorb the experience; however, I've never met anyone like Chunyi Lin, and I've known so remarkable and well-known people. One quick story, Chunyi was talking to the group (there were 65 people), looked at my wife and said, "You have tightness in your left shoulder." My wife has a torn rotator cuff and has been experiencing pain for the past six years. Everyone there that I talked with thought the workshop was outstanding.
