Self acupunture basics

I have really tight hamstrings. Amongst other things (stretching, acupressure) I find acupuncture works really best.


The problem is I can't go to a professional every week. Especially when working in remote areas.


I don't need to learn the whole subject, that would take years. All I'm looking for is a primer on how to insert a needle safely, so I can do it every week.


How should I best approach this?
