  1. So a little over a year ago now I had come across Mantak Chia's book for sexual cultivation. I was very excited to figure out how to send the energy up the spine and preserve my jing. It's been an interesting journey and its honestly been quite hard for me to cultivate this. At times I experienced extreme fatigue, depression, zits along my spine, etc. After a while it started to get easier though. And I have gained a lot of strength and limberness along my spine during this time. So here is what I am still struggling with now: It seems the more I do 'jing excercises' and send energy up the spine, the greater urge I have to ejaculate. I have tried to force my body not to ejaculate while I am doing lots of 'jing exercises', but this will lead to chronic fatigue, numbness of emotions, and literally waking up in middle of night with strong urge to masturbate and ejaculate. I listen to my body when I get to this point and I feel much better after release. To me, it seems overdoing 'jing exercises' (depending on your cultivation) causes the Jing to become toxic or overloaded with 'negative energy' and then body wants to release. I have currently found a happy medium where I don't do much of these 'jing exercises' and I ejaculate about once a week with my partner. I mostly do other meditations and Qi Gong and purposely avoid doing any pelvic floor exercises. But I would love to be able to cultivate my Jing as much as I want and not have a strong urge to ejaculate. So my question would be is there any other way to ground this energy when I feel this way? I literally start to get negative symptoms if I don't ejaculate in these scenarios, but would much preferably find a different way and save my energies. I also think I may have been overdoing it for my level of cultivation. I would sometimes keep my pelvic floor engaged for several hours.(I wonder if the goal to always have the pelvic floor engaged and be constantly sending up energy?) Doing it this much was be very interesting because when I would do it this much I would sometimes feel like I am on a mushroom trip. Trees starting to look holographic and feel very connected to nature. And what's great is that even when I am not doing the exercises now my visuals are much enhanced. But, asides from the cool visuals, I would start to feel worse and worse the longer I would do this. thanks for any wisdom you throw my way
  2. Hello and greetings

Hi there My name is Alex, 27 years old. I really enjoy reading taoist literature and after discovering Mantak Chias books I aim to take the written knowledge and create some experiential understanding. Hoping along the way that can find some junior bums on this forum to start up on the path with and make use of the experience already gained by those who have kept up the practice for a long time. I have experience with meditation and completed a 10 day vipassana course with S.N. Goenka,.. I had known about Mantak for some time after a friend of mine had explained how he had been to Tao Garden 20 years ago and loved it, a few months after I went to vipassana and then on my first day back into normal life Mantak Chia had done an interview with on my favourite youtube channels called 'London real', it was literally one of the first things I saw when booting back up my phone. Tao Garden have given me contact details for one of Mantaks instructors who is sometimes in Bangkok (my current place) and willl start some work with her when possible. I am focusing for now on the inner smile which I find to be a relaxing and rejuvenating exercise and with the teachers guidance I hope to open the micro cosmic orbit. During that time I have started to do some of the exercises in multi orgasmic man. Mainly just the PC pull ups as am using the time to calm my mind away from quite strong sexual urges. It's been 23 days since that started and have been quite strong is resisting the urge and thoughts. This is welcoming and surprising as have had previous attempts in life which never seemed to go past 10 days, this process seems to be much more about the ease and think that this will help the Qi Gong journey. Not directly linked Taoism/Daoism? but am also doing breathing exercises from a book called 'The oxygen advantage' which is about retraining the body and mind to breathe calmer, slower and deeper through the nose at all times even when sleeping and even though he goes about things in a much more western scientific approach he quotes Lao Tzu and Taoist literature once or twice. He has also attended vipassana retreats so I believe he is well into this kind of stuff but for marketing purposes has chosen to position his books in a certain way. However anybody who is interested and would like to try the exercises please send me a message and I look forward to assisting where I can. Thank you for taking the time to read and look forward to this journey.
  3. Hi guys ive seen many sources and authors refered about Microcosmic Orbit. Iam trying to find which are most respected self-learning materials about MCO. Can you post where did you learned MCO from ? I know many here learned MCO from a teacher - oral transmission which is of course the ideal way. But if you would recommend a self-study source to learn MCO what would it be ? Iam interested in self-study so books, video, web articles are prefered. Please be specific about the title. Author and title of the book or dvd, etc. I know aboout Dr. Yang, Jwing-Ming - Qigong Meditation but for me this book is too encyclopedic/academic (430 pages) and he also keeps mentioning in this book you should read his previous book before you start (Embryonic Breathing - another 400 pages) - i dont want to read 800 pages to start practice Also Mantak Chia is mentioned a lot but he already has like 60 books and 50 DVDs - if you learned from Mantak Chia which title would you recommend most from his catalogue about Microcosmic Orbit Also Jerry Alan Johnson is mentioned, but i dont know his work at all, i dont know which of his books describe MCO. Could you guys post if you self-learned MCO... where did you learn MCO from ? What titles would you recommend ? Please dont post "i heard this and this should be good"... iam trying to gather tried and tested sources that really worked for people in the field, so i prefer recommendations that really worked FOR YOU... THANKS A LOT
