  1. Liver qi stagnation

That's not so easy to do haha. My last TCM doc/acupuncturist, I e-mailed him a detailed description of my groin issue since I didn't mention it during my first few visits. He never got back to me on it and when I questioned weather he received my e-mail he just said "yeah, I'll get back to you on that in a bit" but never did. I suppose he just doesn't deal with this kind of thing *shrugs*
  2. Liver qi stagnation

That's very interesting about the importance of having free-flow of energy in the groin area. I had an incident back around 10 or so years ago which caused injury to my groin and I am wondering if this is not a causal or at least attributing factor to my liver stagnation. Basically what happened is I waited too long to urinate, and it caused some injury to my uro-genital tract (caused a spermatocele to form in both my testes, and messed up my bladder). As far as I know, there is no known cure for this aside from surgery, which is not recommended because the problem is not really debilitating per se. BUT, it did cause a whole lot of tension to form in this area which I hold to this day, and I do know it is habitually contracted almost all the time. It's almost impossible to just "let go". Whenever I try, things start to spasm wildly, major discomfort and frustration ensues and I pretty much give up right on the spot.
  3. Is Sifu Jenny Lamb a legit healer?

I'm at the end of my ropes in terms of my health and emotional issues. I have literally tried everything I could think of to remedy my situation, and have put in 150% effort to try to dig myself out of my hole but it seems like my life just isn't working. I am starting more and more to buy into the idea that I am indeed infested with some sort of energetic parasite, as Sifu Jenny Lamb claimed I was during my Skype consultation with her. It would explain a lot of the problems I have been having since I was a kid like the persistent fatigue and anxiety. I am more and more considering dropping everything I am doing now... seing the futility of my effort, and instead seeing her for treatment/entity removal. The only problem is that she charges 12,000$ for a 10 day treatment which I absolutely cannot afford at the moment. But like I said, I could drop everything and save up for the next year or two to try and make it. My question is- is it worth it? I know there are the testimonials on her website, but with all due respect, for this amount of money, I have to remain skeptical.

    Well that was... unexpected. Thanks
  5. We are the master of our emotions

Right. Emotions are autonomic biological reactions. You have about as much control over those as you do how you beat your heart or digest your food.

  7. Is Sifu Jenny Lamb a legit healer?

Yes, I thought so too. I just wanted to put it out there. And I want to thank everyone for giving me their input. Please don't blame me for not trying out your advice. I sincerely appreciate your suggestions, but I have already screwed myself up enough attempting to resolve stuff on my own.. I really need help from a pro. So I have settled with seeing a doc in China that specializes in what I may probably have in TCM terms. Not a straight up exorcist but at least from the looks off it will be able to help a good deal.
  8. Is Sifu Jenny Lamb a legit healer?

I didn't have any intention of name-calling or accusations in this thread. None at all. All I wanted was to have more information before shelling out an insane amount of cash for a treatment that may or may not work for an issue I may or may not have. I really don't see anything rude or disrespectful about it all. I already got burned for the same amount from a different healer in the past, who ended up being a con-man despite some glowing reviews and testimonials on their website, so forgive me for doing a little research first. We're all humans here, right? No disrespect intended to anyone. /endrant
  9. Auditory hallucinations

OK, I just read up on tinnitus and apparently, the sounds I am hearing totally encompass the range of sounds caused by the disorder. So that's that then, I have tinnitus. That definitely brings me some peace of mind..
  10. Is Sifu Jenny Lamb a legit healer?

Well I had probs way before I did any kind of qigong stuff... but you're still probably right. I have an excellent teacher but I'm a bit reserved about talking about personal probs as the result of faulty qigong practice.. I mean he's a martial arts teacher first, not a doc. :/

  12. Is Sifu Jenny Lamb a legit healer?

That's the thing Sifu Jenny told me that bummed me out the most. She told me to absolutely not do any qigong or energy practices whatsoever because it wouod just feed the entity. Talk about demotivated!
  13. Auditory hallucinations

Holy crap I just did a few minutes of relaxing/dissolving my inner ear and I'm pretty sure I made it lower in intensity a good bit. I'm really tired right now but I'll keep experimenting with this. It would make sense that tinnitus is caused by misfiring cilia in the inner ear then technically this could happen with any sound, not just the typical monotone ringing or buzzing that most people with tinnitus hear. I need to find a way to "unlock" those hairs and let my ears relax...
  14. Auditory hallucinations

VERY, VERY interesting. Thank you. I always discounted it being related to tinnitus but now it could very well be a possibility I had learned in school that tinnitus is caused by damaged hair cilia so I didn't connect to a neurological thing.
  15. Auditory hallucinations

Before it started: I would prefer as much quiet as possible. Nature sounds are cool, though. After it started: Quiet also, but I get the most relief if there's some kind of music playing, as long as it's the kind that doesn't have much tones resembling white noise since that's when it comes out the most. The tones really "ride" whatever sound is in my environement. It's hard to explain. For instance, if there's traffic noise in the distance, it will seem to be coming from wherever the sound of traffic is coming. If you were to turn on a broken radio behind me, I would perceive the siren as coming from behind me. Otherwise, the "baseline" ringing is omnipresent.
  16. Auditory hallucinations

Thanks for the reply man that was actually really informative and helpful- especially with it being potentially tied with memories/locations. I didn't ask the Vipassana people about it but I already know their answer, and it is what I have found to work best for it: equanimity. Yes, it's always gotten worse after I do MCO. Every once in a while I attempt to do it again to see if I can maybe "unblock" something, but to no avail. Each time it gets worse right after and then subsides within a week. But the last time I did it, it has not subsided and has remained persistent. The only difference i can think of is I did the Chia MCO with the fingers pointing the energy centers, plus tapping, etc. I usually don't do that. I don't know if my MCO practice is sound to begin with honestly. A lot of my energy moving seems very forced, unnatural, tense, and uncomfortable. I'm pretty sure Im to blame for this. I've abstained from all energy work for a while now and will try to just keep that up. So far, here are all the sounds that have remained stuck/looped so far: -2-3 types of police sirens -ambulence siren -alarm clock alarm -incoming skype call sound -crickets chirping during the night -sound of truck backing up (beep.. beep) -metal gong sound (as mentionned in previous post) Like I said I'm open to any crazy suggestions
  17. Auditory hallucinations

Well guys, I was hoping the 10-day Vipassana retreat I just got back from would help me find the source of this issue or at least ease it down but unfortunately this hasn't been the case. It's worse now than it's ever been. It reached the peak in severity when I (stupidly) attempted Mantak Chia's MCO method in order to try and resolve it a couple months ago. Did I mention this whole problem actually started a few weeks after I started doing the Small Universe meditation (a simplified MCO) over a year ago?? Prior to that, doing qigong for a whole year, I never had any issue of the sort. Here's another interesting observation I made during my Vipassana: they chime a gong regularly every few hours to notify of meditation sessions and meals and guess what? After just a few days, the bell sound got "printed on" to my brain and I was hearing it constantly, on loop, just as with the siren sound. The bell sound stopped shortly after getting home but the siren, still as strong as ever, and it's driving me fucking nuts. What should I do to stop this??? Is there any kind of method to reverse any problems caused by doing MCO? I'm willing to try anything at this point. Seriously, if anyone can think of anything, please post or PM me your idea. So far I've tried other types of qigong, diet, exercise, meditation, brainwave entrainement, mind gymnastics, head massage, supplements, introspection, etc. etc. ... NOTHING has worked or even helped put a dent in it. I'm a bit agitated about this because normally it starts to subside after a while, but this time it's been really consistently loud and not getting any better for the last couple of months. I can't get any peace or quiet, ever!!
  18. Is Sifu Jenny Lamb a legit healer?

Hey man I appreciate you chiming in with your experience and I am glad it was a positive one for you.. I don't really have any specific questions other than if it is worth the 12k+$.. because it's a *lot* of money. I spent exactly the same amount on another healing venture last year and got burned. So now I am very cautious. About the last part you wrote in regards to the reason for the price- can you clarify when is meant by "humans don't respect anything but money"? Does that imply that people will make a bigger effort in putting in the work if they have spent more money for it or... ?

  21. Is Sifu Jenny Lamb a legit healer?

I live in Canada. I was recommended Dr. Jiang Feng http://apricotforesthospital.com/dr-jiang-feng/ and I am considering seeing him if all else fails. He apparently treats people for free and only charges for herbs, etc. I'm open to other suggestions, too..
  22. Is Sifu Jenny Lamb a legit healer?

It's 12,000$ for 10 days. More if you want longer treatment. 500$ extra if you want to stay with her. Otherwise, you need to stay at a hotel. Her prices are non-negotiable. I don't know how many treatments she does or what the duration of those treatments actually are. She said that all my efforts in self-improvement will be futile until I get this entity removed and did not say, although somewhat implied, that she is the only one who could do this. The main reason I am actually considering seeing her for this amount of money is because of all the praise I have read about her on these forums. People claiming that she is very powerful/pure, and taught Max, etc. etc.
  23. We are the master of our emotions

I don't think there is any way to become a master of our emotions. Instead what is in the realm of possibility is mastering our reaction to those emotions. You can still feel anger or fear and choose not to react to those feelings, instead opting to observe with equanimity.
  24. Hey guys, I just got back from a 10-day Vipassana retreat and have personally gained great benefits. A guy I met there that did the course with me just sent me this link about some people claiming Vipassana is a cult. http://www.atheistfoundation.org.au/forums/showthread.php?t=16830 What do you guys think? I think problems will definitely arise if you have hardcore atheists start to blame the technique and not have a proper understanding that things can and do go wrong for certain people but the technique is not to blame. Anyone want to take a shot at refuting some of the claims made in the thread?
