    All I know is that my soul rocks whenever I enter L.A. When I first was there in 1987 my friend picked me up at the airport. I had flown in from Phoenix. I put my head out the window of his car in order to scream for joy because of how good it felt. This was so out of character for me. I later found out the source of my attraction to everything about L.A. except for the traffic and vanity. And I bet you are right about Sifu Terry saying that FP rocks wherever it is done! Speaking of which, this afternoon I remained in Monk Holding a Peach for a bit of a prolonged period of time and made sure to only touch my finger tips together very gently. I could feel the start of some slight quivering and then I shut it down so as not to reenact the Northridge quake!

    I have experienced so much great energy when vacationing in L.A., I can't imagine what it would be like to do Flying Phoenix Chi Kung there? Especially where Route 66 ends at the Santa Monica Park.

    Proper meditation in general clears the mind of the dross of ignorance and for some can dismantle false beliefs of ego separation so that one sees clearly and realizes Ultimate Reality and the interconnectedness of all life--i.e., that man and the Universe are one. Psychic awareness obviously expands when such cosmic consciousness is attained. Regular practice of Flying Phoenix Meditations certainly increases or actualizes one's psychic potential and in some persons, refines intelligence. As I mentioned earlier in the thread, during one lesson during the first or second year of training, GM Doo Wai had each of us students practice Flying Phoenix and other Bok Fu Pai Meditations for one hour, then divided us into two groups and instructed us to remotely reach each other with a distance separating one group from the other by approx. 14 miles. As a result of successfully trying to read what one of my classmates was doing and thinking and him me, that evening we both had dreams--except that each of us dreamt in the mode or format that the other person normally dreamed in. And we each had the dream content that the other person normally would have had--given the nature of their work and profession and personal/family life. In other words, the meditations somehow caused us to "switch" both dream content and dream form or format with one another. And we were also able to interpret each other's dreams--and tie them directly to waking events and circumstances-- almost instantly because were we also lucid during those dreams. So, YES, practice of Bok Fu Pai Meditations--including Flying Phoenix Meditations--does expand consciousness and cultivates psychic ability or "powers" to higher levels and in very unusual and profound ways.

    Hello Sifu Terry:

    Last night I was quite tired as I could not fall asleep during my after work nap. When I did my FP session that night I decided to hold Monk Holding a Pearl for at least 10 minutes or longer. That immediately took away all of my tiredness for the rest of the night. I then did the deep sleep meditation on vol. 7. But close to bedtime I watched an online clip of GM Doo Wai demonstrating Monk Holding a Pearl in the sitting meditation verison; so stupidly I did that right before bed and the energy from that must have overode the energy from the deep sleep med on vol. 7 because it the took me a long time to fall asleep which is unusual these days. This morning I woke up really tired but that immediately vanished once I did my morning FP meditations. I decided to end the FP session doing 5 min. of the seated version Monk Holding a Pearl. That makes for a great restful meditation to slow down the thoughts while being energized in a subtle way. But I learned to not hold any Pearls at night!

    For the past 5 weeks at least I have been having premonitions in the form of daydreaming about someone or something and then it soon turns into reality. Mostly with thinking of someone and then the phone rings. Most of us have that once in awhile anyway, but this is happening frequently now with the people that I am closest to. Yesterday I was thinking of my friend and then the phone rang one minute later and I asked her what took her so long to respond! But in the past few weeks when I would hope this woman would call me, the phone rang within seconds of having those thoughts and it was her. Multiple episodes of this. Yesterday I was for no known reason daydreaming about another friend maybe calling to tell me she needed a new computer. Today this same person called to say that her daughter recently bought her a new computer! So my thinking is that Flying Phoenix Chi Kung is opening psychic centers? If so, do you know which meditations on volumes one and two are prone to do this, or is it as I suspect, a synergetic effect from the culmination of all the energy from FP having this psychic influence? It feels so natural when it happens, not like any unusual psychic happening at all. I wonder if I should start daydreaming about winning the lottery so that I can relocate to my beloved Los Angeles?

  5. Hi TLB,

    The energy from TM is great for the pets. But it is a loss of energy for the meditator! Maharishi was not prone to elaborate on those kind of things. I think this warning was given during the 3 days of checking following initiation or I heard it while on teacher training courses. From my personal experience this would not be noticed as any kind of loss from the meditator who petted the pet soon after meditation. I did not heed the advice that much as I let my dog in the same room with me whenever I meditated. This would certainly take place on a more subtle level beyond ordinary perception.

     

    I now recall that we taught people to not have their pets in the same room while we meditated so that they would not disturb us and take us out of that deep state of relaxation beyond thoughts, satori, mukti, Oneness, sat chit ananada, etc,take your pick. But later we did hear that the dogs and cats could rob of us of that valuable subtle energy produced during those states of tranquil mind and body called Restful Alertness, Transcendental Consciousness, a fourth state of consciousness scientifically verified via a unique pattern of brain waves which I have seen for myself at the Americal Psychological Association Convention when they hooked up my TM friend and fellow psychologist to an EEG machine. I would love to see the EEG of Sifu Terry during FP.

  6. A humble update...one more session and I'm on a different planet! I did all of Vol 1 and then the first 3 of Vol 2 - and was able to stay cross-legged throughout. Amazing. This isn't a new problem - that hip often locks up just sitting at my desk through the day - I'll get up and be unable to straighten up or walk immediately. Today I feel only the palest hint of that, and it's been going on for a couple of years! The Phoenix is flying indeed...

     

    Steve, re my cat seeking the energy...I didn't mean to sound as if I was contradicting you, I think you're quite correct. I'm curious why the TM folks recommended you not pet your animals right after meditating. Why would that energy not be good for them?

  7. Hi TLB: yes, I owned 2 Gosami books and read very little of them and soon gave them away. I think it was just too heady for me. I want to comment on your cats reacting to the energy they sense from FP. I believe I have shared this already with Sifu Terry perhaps via email. Maharishi Mahesh Yogi who brought Transcendental Meditation to the West kept getting reports from people who did TM that their dogs and cats loved to be in the same room when they meditated. I know that my dog in the 1970's had to be shaken at times to wake her up after I finished meditating since she went into this unusually deep slumber. Maharishi eventually created research based on these experiences and found that one person doing TM creates brainwave coherence in 99 other people who don't even meditate. He called it the One Percent Effect and major replicated research documented this on a large scale, even sending groups of TMers into current war zones and then documenting that the wars decreased when they increased the usual number of meditation sessions per day. We were told not to pet our dogs and cats right after meditating because some of that energy would transfer directly to the pet! I suspect the furry ones are not seeking affection, but the direct energy from these subtle energy methods such as FP and deep meditation. My dog knew the word meditation and would race ahead of me to the bedroom when I told her let's go meditate. I have been enjoying reading about Taoist meditation via "The Secret of the Golden Flower." I would have no clue what it is describing if it was not for my experiences from TM and the genius level of teaching from Maharishi. It is an amazing book that I read at least 30 yrs ago but it is so much more understandable reading it now. Tonite I will order Evan-Wentz book since if Sifu Terry recommends it,then I know it is going to be a trip! I have several of the books from Sifu's recommended reading list and they are treasures. Just one more reason to be grateful for how much Sifu Terry continues to give to us.

    I enjoyed reading about what you are seeking from Flying Phoenix as my path is spiritual and the 2 vedic masters that I have had both point in the same direction, energy. Enlightenment is based on energy enlivening certain parts of the brain. That energy is blocked from the stress of daily living, hence a world of unenlightened souls settling for substitutes for the natural bliss from the deep relaxation needed to get rid of the energy blocks/stress/karma. The vacuum state in quantum physics is that state of perfect rest, the ground state which is the source of material existence. Sounds like the Tao to me. I was recently taught that enlightenment is a matter of subtraction. Releasing the stress to purify the nervous system which is designed to automatically produce enlightenment/bliss 24/7. So I do TM meditation and FP chi kung for removing energy blocks. I was recently reading this thread from the beginning for the second time and noticed Sifu Terry talking about his masters stressing the need for quiet sitting. So yesterday I came out of my last FP sitting meditation with the 3 breaths and then opened my eyes for awhile sitting in that relaxed/energized state for a minute and then decided to stay in that state by doing quiet sitting by just closing my eyes for several minutes. It resulted in a really nice state of restful alertness. The body and mind are very relaxed but you are awake. This is the 4th major state of consciousness. So I discovered yet another use for FP and I consider that feeling/state of consciousness to be a spiritual experience. In sum, for me FP produces a meditation state of mind/body if I just sit with eyes closed after doing my FP meditations.

  9. Hello Sifu Terry,

    I get fascinated by what you call the tangible effects of Flying Phoenix Chi Kung. I noticed some other tangible effects going on when I began doing Wind Above the Clouds on vol. one. When we circle our arms and bring them in toward the neck it is the same movement that is also done for Bending the Bow on vol. one. However, I find that the sensation of subtle energy moving the arms in this motion for Wind Above the Clouds has such a "thicker" feel to it which automatically slows down the arm movements as they close in toward one another. Bending the Bow has a much lighter feel to the same motion. I have experienced this every time I do these 2 meditations. Realizing that we all have different sensations/experiences due to the condition of our mind/body, it is still enjoyable to notice this subtle difference between the meditations. Further proof to a doubting Thomas like myself that something really is happening, and something good, I might add!

    And how the experiences do change! For quite awhile I did not look forward to doing Bending the Bow when it came up in my rotation of meditations because it seemed to put a bit of a strain on some of the body parts, knees, mainly. But lately BTB has become an almost effortless, free flowing movement which no longer causes any discomfort whatsoever. I used to wish that this meditation would hurry up and finish. Now I it feels like I can go on doing this one for as long as my time allows. This is teaching me to have the attitude of "just do it" with all of these meditations as progress and comfort is assured with practice. It is a process guided by Nature. After all, FP comes from the taoist tradition so how could it be anything other than natural?

  10. I just received news today from my classmate Sifu Steve Baugh that one of our teachers, Master Share K. Lew has just passed away at the age of 94 years. Master Lew was the 23rd generation lineage holder of the Tao Tan Pai (Taoist Elixir Method) School of Kung-fu dating back to China's Tang Dynasty. The art is attributed to the legendary Lu Tung Pin, the "leader" of the Eight Taoist Immortals. In 1934, at the age of 16, Master Lew entered the Yellow Dragon Monastery (Gee Lum Gee), located at the summit of Mt. Luofu, Guangdong Province, China. He was also the nephew of the famous Choy Lay Fut master, Lew Ben (Lau Bun). Thus he taught the Chang Chuan (Long First) Form of CLF as an adjunct/pillar to his basic Tan Tan Pai training. Master Lew was one of the only two temple-trained, fully ordained Taoist priests residing in America; the other being Master Kuan Sai Hung of the Huashan sect of Taoism (the two met in 1983 and had a joyful time of it). He was also a peer and friend of my teacher of Flying Phoenix Chi Kung and several other internal arts, Grandmaster Doo Wai of the Bok Fu Pai (White Tiger Kung Fu) system of Ehrmeishan--so often mentioned in this thread by myself and Sifu Garry Hearfield. I studied Tao Tan Pai from 1975 to 1983 under Master Lew's senior students John Davidson and Bill Helm of the Los Angeles and San Diego Taoist Sanctuaries. In 1988, Master Lew authorized me to teach Tao Tan Pai. In 1990, he taught me his Tai Chi Ruler. Perhaps synchronous with his passing, early yesterday morning, I practiced the Tao Tan Pai Six Stars neigung, the TTP Crane Form, TTP Snake Form, and TTP Monkey Form in my first hour of a 5-hour training session.

     

    Master Lew taught his Taoist martial and healing arts for some 52 years, profoundly changing the lives of all his students with his powerful and enlightening gifts of martial, yogic, and healing knowledge.     Sifu Terry: Sad news about Sifu Lew. He was just out here on the east coast, Long Island, in May teaching. Just like last year his workshop was filled before I could enroll. As I mentioned before, I heard of Sifu Lew from one of his early students, Michael Milner, who to this day still practices and teaches Sifu Lew's methods each week after he learned it over 40 yrs ago and of all the energy healing methods he has been involved with, he believes Sifu Lew's methods to be close to the top. To live to age 94 is an achievement, but to still be actively teaching at that age is quite an achievement. I bow to his legacy.

  11. It wasn't my intention to add or subtract anything from the FP meditations. My intent was to enhance my weightlifting with the relaxing effects of the qigong - not to enhance the qigong. If I'm going against any tradition, it's the weightlifting tradition, which I'm not so worried about as it's based on somewhat shaky principles in my opinion. Not sure where you got ungrateful from that.

     

    My apologies to you. I just used your post as an opportunity to share a basic teaching. I did not have the impression that you were tampering with tradition or were ungrateful for anything. I should have prefaced my remarks stating that my warning is in case there are people out there combining things instead of spacing out different methods. In fact, it probably is better if I remain the student that I am and just let the Sifu and other experienced people do the teaching! I think I will stick with questions and testimonials. So thanks for bringing this to my attention.

    Thanks for sharing your perspective. Says it all, succinctly and to the point.

     

    Lets face it, the various masters through the ages have explored all the possibilities and made all the mistakes so that we don't have to ! Why should we think we can do it better, or think of something they didn't ?

    Wow Jeramiah! You just parapharased one of the teachings from Maharishi almost verbatim. When he was training us to be teachers he shared with us that he had made all the mistakes already so we did not need to duplicate that. He called it maintaining the purity of the teaching. You just follow the method of the teacher and then your students will be learning correctly. This is why the lineage of chi kung masters needs to be unbroken and why the true teachers are called masters. They have mastered the method. How many of us so far can claim that we have even truly mastered one Flying Phoenix meditation on volume one or two? Those of you who have done so please come and teach me!

    Thank you Fu Dog for your reply and for all that you have posted. Your diligence and shared experiences from Flying Phoenix are truly inspirational. You are a disciple. But to answer your reply, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi said it all best. He trained us, his teachers of Transcendental Meditation, to neither add or subtract from the teachings of all mighty Nature. We are merely the mouthpieces of Nature as cognized by the vedic tradition. With the passing of my master I have come to embrace the teachings of China'a internal energy cultivation arts and I only see similarities.

    Earlier this week I woke up with a sore throat and that always means cold symptoms will manifest the next day. So I did what I always do, I did my Flying Phoenix but added more of it and each day the sore throat/swollen lymph gland was less bothersome. It is now the end of the week and not one symptom of a cold has manifested and the sore throat is gone and what remains is just a bit of the gland thing. Just one more tangible experience of Flying Phoenix Celestial Healing Chi Kung which certainly was appropriately named!

    I admire your enthusiasm however I still recommend you keep the two practices separate.

     

    As you get further in the practice FP you will find that some of the more advanced forms can take 20 to 30 minutes to complete, sometimes longer. I don't think those would work in the scenario you are suggesting.

     

    As to whether mixing the two will lead to any undesirable effects, I will leave that for Sifu Terry to answer. ;-)

    Without a traditional master-disciple relationship the unsurrendered thinking part of the unawakened mind, known as ego, will usually come up with reasons to do things differently. When I don't know squat about something that is new to me, I am stumbling around in the dark and am grateful for the light that the master gives to light the way on the path. In India that master is called guru for good reason. That sanskrit word translates as something like dispeller of darkness. Chi Kung is from the Taoist tradition which teaches to surrender to what is, the harmony of Nature, and opposes putting our human will against what is. My guru taught us a meditation technique and the meditation program which was how to do the technique. Those that did the meditation but added to or substracted what went with the meditation were considered to be doing the method but not the program and thus were not expected to gain maximum benefits. post-86937-134222351271_thumb.jpg

  15. Thank you Sifu Terry for that inspiring reply for the benchmark of Flying Phoenix Chi Kung. This reminds me of what one of Sifu Lew K. Share's students told me about the authentic way he was taught to do the Mircocosmic Orbit from Master Lew. He has been practicing this now for over 40 years as he studied as a teen in Los Angeles with Master Lew. Michael Milner told me that when he and I do Transcendenal Meditation we transcend thinking. But when he does this style of MCO, I forget the Chinese name you guys call it, you transcend the thinking and the body. So when you said we will get to the point of doing FP without feeling the body doing it, this reminds me of what transcending is like. Maharishi of TM at first called TM "The Big Automatic" because it is done effortlessly. So I think doing FP effortlessly as the body almost moves on its own must be like this. I understand this guideline and I will work at this until I reach that state. This is why I no longer own a television.

    Yes, you do only ONE repetition of the movements with ONE breath control sequence. that's the complete exercise. If you want to do the Meditation more than once, then you wait a couple of minutes then do the whole cycle over again: breath control sequence of 50 40 30 + one sequence of the movements.

    One is fine and can be sufficient. It depends how well you do each one. The high criteria for FP practice is this and its equivalent:

     

    Your movements become so effortless (frictionless) that you no longer feel your body.

    (and with FP Qigong and its breath-control sequences, this state is attainable much, much faster than through all other Qigong systems that I have practiced.)

     

    Until you reach this state of mind-body integration with the Tao, practice it and the other FP Meditations as often as you can.

    Does this Flying Phoenix Chi Kung really do anything?

    Well last nite was the first time I did not do the Vol. 7 first meditation which is said to promote good sleep.

    I went to bed at my regular time but this morning woke up feeling so very tired which I have not experienced since beginning this meditation several weeks ago. The proof of the pudding is in the tasting!

  18. Hi Sifu Terry, I have been practicing your FP Chi Kung for Health series for 4 years now. I wanted to let the board know that I still shake. I do not see shaking as a sign of poor health as claimed by Silium in an earlier

    post. My health is fine, which I attribute to FP and Taiji. Sincerely -Marcus

     

    This comment is to Sifu Garry Hearfield. In rereading some of the previous posts I realized I did not reply yet to your request that I let you know about the chi kung styles I have done in the past. Well here it is: Spring Forest chi kung from Chu Li Yin. This was my first style that I learned because at the inpatient mental health center that I work in we do a daily chi kung group for the patients so we wanted some training in this. I still do it during work days because I do the group so I have to do it and these severely mentally ill people are incapable of doing Flying Phoenix for multiple reasons. I also used to do Master Wong Kit Kiew's Shaolin chi kung taught online now by one of his students in England. We use some of his movements in our group at work each day. I did another method from online but cannot recall the name of it now. I did Qinway style. Jenny Lamb's Yi Gong which is a form of neigong. Dragon Gate which I really enjoyed because of its absolute simplicity. Holden's style which was on PBS as a series. Did it just a few times as it seemed to much like calesthetics. Briefly did Dr. Yang's style. Falun Dafa or Falun Gong as it is also known is one I did for awhile. This is the one where they put you in prison if you do it in China. It healed a slight heart murmur in just one month but it is very time consuming and you have to hold these static postures until you cannot tolerate it any longer. One day I asked myself why I was subjecting myself to such torture and then I stopped this method. I liked most of the styles that I tried but none really grabbed me like Flying Phoenix does and resulted in a real passion for it which I cannot explain why. I regret that I am getting such a late start with chi kung but if I had tried it earlier I would have had to quit it due to being programmed that as a Transcendental Meditator, no other self-development method would ever be necessary because nothing else could give the benefits that are obtained from doing TM. I actually did rent a chi kung dvd around 1990 or so and tried it briefly and compared it to TM and did not know what to expect so I stopped it. It involved sitting in a chair and moving the upper torso by circling the head is what I recall about that.

  19. Hi Growant,

     

    No, the 23-movement Seated Flying Phoenix Meditation does not subsume or replace practice of any of the FP Seated meditations,except perhaps for the first 3 "warm-up" meditation exercises on Vol. 2. It's considered another FP Seated Meditation to be done alongside all the other seated ones. If you've tried the Seated Monk Serves Wine Meditations, especially the ones in Vol.7, you'll come to know that each one has a very distinctive cultivational "path" through the mind-body. Once you do these Monk Serves Wine meditations long enough to get a "feel" for them, and then when you learn the 23-movement seated Med., you will instantly know for yourself that the latter cannot supplant the practice of the other Monk Serves Wine Meditations.

     

    And yes, I do plan to make a DVD program teaching the 23-movement seated FP Meditation. It's a very nice one.

    Hi Sifu Terry,

    The avatar heading the Oneness movement out of India which uses deeksha energy to get the kundalini to rise to the frontal lobe for states of higher consciousness just released a statement that due to the increasing powerful energy now available, people in the Oneness movement when in a state of Divine Presence which can be felt as bliss, etc. can think of the name of any person and that person will then automatically receive that Divine Presence energy. He said that energy is now being increased weekly. I cannot vouch for this directly as I am a Oneness Energy Giver even though I myself have not felt even one iota of energy or any experience from this method during the 5 years I have been trying it. But my closest friends all experience energy and higher states from it. The claims for the transfer of energy remind me that you have stated that eventually someone doing Flying Phoenix Chi Kung can have their energy spontaneously jump to someone in need of healing. Sounds like happy days are here at last, to borrow a phrase. And like others who have read this thread I continue to be amazed and grateful for all of the knowledge and guidance that you so freely share. You would have to be a man of great heart to do this, especially in such a materialistic age that we live in. The low prices of your quality dvds also reflect this same generous spirit. I am greatly honored and feel blessed to have crossed your path.

What do you think about Max Christensen's statement on his website: "One hour of kunlun neigong is worth 100 years of sitting meditation."? I do FP and a version of neigong taught by Sifu Jenny Lamb who taught Max how to do neigong. I experience strong chi flow from neigong but it does not give me the depth of relaxation and transcending all thoughts to reach Pure Awareness which comes from doing Transcendental Meditation. So I would like to know your take on that statement. Both neigong and deep meditation release stress from the nervous system as does FP since it is neigong and meditation and chi kung and I am sure much more.

  21. After reading this page recently I decided to do the last sitting meditation on vol. 2, 90-80-50-20,slower than slow this morning. By doing so I experienced this noticeable cushion of sublime energy right above my knees some inches before my hands reached their resting place on the knees to complete this repetition and it felt this way for each of the 7 reps. The energy was so unique compared to other chi kung styles I have tried in that it was so palpable, as if my hands could have just stopped there and they would have been supported in mid-air by that cushion of condensed chi. It made me think, "wow, we really do possess an actual energy body that is just beyond our physical body." It is one thing to read about this energy body in books and quite another thing to directly feel it. I have only been doing Flying Phoenix vol. 1 and 2 since feb. but I continue to be amazed how different the method is from any of the several other chi kung styles I have learned over the years. This is way beyond just feeling tingling in your hands as the chi flows. When I feel chi so noticeably from FP I am left with a strong feeling of gratitude to Sifu Terry Dunn and Grand Master Doo Wai for having shared this precious and rare gift of healing. This is the real thing.

  23. The Rizzo Brothers sure must have thought their initial series of Flying Phoenix dvds was essential and then suddenly when a second series is produced the first series is not even worth doing any longer? Does this make sense? Yes, it sure sound like it makes a lot of cents, for them!

     

    As for volume one and volume two of Terry Dunn's Flying Phoenix Celestial Healing Chi Kung dvds being "basic" I would consider them anything but basic based on comparison of other chi kung systems that I have tried in the past 5 years. I have probably done about 10 different chi kung systems including one from a chi kung master who was voted top qigong master of the year by the World Congress of Qigong a few years ago. All of the different methods resulted in feeling chi flow in my hands but I could not pinpoint any results in daily activity so I kept seeking a chi kung method that would give me more noticeable results and then I read about Flying Phoenix Chi Kung claiming to give tangible, quick results in daily life. I was skeptical of the advertising but I ordered the dvds because I loved the name Flying Phoenix Celestial Healing Chi Kung and the story of the lineage. Being a sucker for good marketing I just had to give it a try, especially since the series is not expensive at all. Within just days of doing a few of the meditations I was not feeling any tiredness during my work day any longer. How rare for a product to really deliver what it advertises. I immediately dropped any other style of chi kung and kept up with FP morning and evening. I began staying up way past my bedtime and waking up early and still usually was not feeling tired during the day. Then recently after doing FP only for the past few months I stayed up one nite past 1am and set the alarm for 6am. I woke up an hour an a half before the alarm went off and did not feel tired during my work day. The results from FP could not be more tangible than that! I'm 64 years old and since doing Flying Phoenix Chi Kung I have more energy than I can ever remember having in my life! Then a friend of mine started to learn FP and in just a few days he reported feeling "a ball of chi spinning" in his hands. Both my friend and I have been involved with subtle energy for about the past 40 years and have been trained by one of the most eminent yogis in history and we have not come across anything that produces such profound energy so quickly and easily. I think only a very modest instructor would call these dvds "basic". I can only imagine what the FP advanced meditations would produce. Wish I would have learned this chi kung 38 years ago instead of the meditation that I learned back then. What a treasure to have stumbled upon.

  25. :wacko: I said it once and Ill say it again, you need to start and learn the foundation which is still advance meditations of Sifu Terry Dunns series. If these are higher level and one doesnt need to learn the foundation why the hell would they have been created in the 1st place?

    I would love the Rizzo brothers to answer that astute observation!
