  3. Qigong induced damage.

No worries :-) Of course flying out would need some assurance. I don't have a large reference because I stopped treating with Fagong many years ago, publicly; only do it during my regular treatments. Tui Na and acupuncture references, sure. Yet I believe that you don't need to travel all the ways here, I was just opening the door for you. When I return to NY, if you are in the states, and not far away, perhaps a drive over, or I can drive to you, hopefully you were treated before hand. I can send you to my good friend Dr. Roger Cao, I would call him a high level Lao Zhongyi (θ€δΈεŒ»). I will pm you his info. He can give you a diagnosis by your tongue pics, and with a thorough consultation, most likely via email, perhaps an herbal formula can help. He has helped me over the years, and is my student's herbal teacher, along with being one of th efirst few in NY to help establish the state wide regulations on Chinese Medicine...something like that. Peace, Lin
  4. Qigong induced damage.

If you are willing to fly out to China, all you need to worry about is your plane ticket and living expenses. I wouldn't charge you a dime for any treatment. One, because you are paying so much to get here. And two, I can not be sure you will have the completed karma to get better from what I would offer you. Though I would treat you daily till you had to return to your home, I can not give you a 100% guarantee that "I" can treat you and cure you. But I can honestly, and humbly do my best and all my power to do so. At least you would see China.. lol Either that, or you can hold out till August when I return to NY for a month. Then, I still wouldn't charge you for the treatment. I have my reasons, no need to discuss them.
  5. Qigong induced damage.

Ejaculating up the spine will not do harm. The sperm doesn't rise up, its the qi that will rise. With that, it will not cause blockages no matter what channel it is moving through because Qi is non-discriminate, meaning it is simply just the same thing that is within the body, thus nothing foreign. I used to do this for years, and still do. Years meaning almost 20yrs. There must have been issues before doing what you did. Perhaps lifestyle, long term affects from past habits, etc. That would eventually cause liver qi stagnation, excessive phlegm, and toxic heat. Foods like fried, spicy, salty would cause heat, over stimulate the liver and dampness. Coffee, black tea, milk (any dairy), Sodas, commercial fruit juices...all these would cause damp heat, especially coffee, and stimulate the liver, stomach, spleen and kidney qi. As a result, affecting the heart and lungs, intestines...al l going down the line eventually. As of now, you experience what you do, stagnation due to damp heat. I'm sure there is more going on in there. Sexually, do not release sperm, and no sexual stimulation will help, so refrain from that. I would personally give you acupuncture, and fa gong, as it would immediately bring better feelings. Is all that you written all that you feel? The herbs may not be strong enough if they are not working. Herbs work on the energy level, and are the next best thing to full on qigong practice, but are short one thing...mental application of the transforming of energy. What to do then? When I used to feel numb in areas, I would just inhale from the navel, crown and envision the energy filling up the body. DO not mind what channel, whatever, its not important. On the inhale and exhale, let the envisioned energy fill you up and imagine it flowing all throughout the body. Make it the color of light white/blue light. And just do it as long as you feel comfortable. While it is moving throughout the body, imagine the areas you feel uncomfortable in, being cleared up by the flowing energy. Then bring your focus to the navel again, and take 3 sow and almost full, but not too full, deep breaths. Then stop. In my younger days, I experienced numbness, pains, problems, etc..and utilized the mind to fix things all until I wasted too much energy on clearing away negative people in my life. So I took herbs to help things along the way, and no problems now. So any setbacks in practice, I will be familiar with. Warm baths, and warm waters, herbs for your liver qi stagnation, and give it time. Sometimes, these things are just stages in practice, sometimes they are old problems finally coming to surface. They need time to change. Peace and blessings, Lin P.S.- I would much rather treat you in person, but the best I can do is offer some advice. Forgive me if it brings you no results, for sometimes we are not ready, and or it is not our destiny/fate to utilize certain methods. I hope it brings you good results. I have others to offer, but I personally do not know your condition, and am not there to truly feel you out. Though I would do other means to help, I would rather not say if I am doing it or not :-P
  6. Qigong induced damage.

Perhaps they are not treating it directly...perhaps with acupuncture. Anywho, no need to speculate... I will write you in a few... in my office, a bit occupied.
  7. Qigong induced damage.

You sent energy up the spine on ejaculation? That shouldn't be a problem at all. If you were to elaborate on the practices you have been doing , in terms of qigong, perhaps we can find something out. But you also must give specifics as to what you have been feeling since that day. If its a bit personal, PM me, or email me: [email protected] Peace and Blessings, Lin
  8. Wing Chun and Taoism

True, very true. I met up with Wing Chun family out in Zhu Hai 2 months back, and also in Hong Kong. The Zhu Hai family is from the Zhao Jiu (Jiu Chao) line, who was a younger brother to Yip Man under Chen Hua Shun. In Hong Kong, I met up with Jiu Wan's son, ZHao Hong Jun, a very nice and lively guy, 60+yrs old, looks around 45, haha The Zhu Hai family kept the forms that ZHao JIu and Yip Man learned, and also practiced Pan Nam's 1st form for more of an internal cultivation. They said that Yip Man did indeed change the forms, and did not teach the forms he was taught, but maintained the "traditional" foundations. Zhao Hong Jun also commented how Yip Man did indeed do that, and his father, Jiu Wan, though learned from his uncle, Zhao Jiu, took discipleship with Yip Man, and changed his forms to Yip Man's rendition, as it was faster to learn, and faster to teach. Jiu Wan was Yip Man's gongfu nephew, and later disciple. All added their own flavor, as anyone does in their martial arts over a period of time. Therefore, a martial art may not have been "Buddhist, or Daoist" in its upringing, but later on can develop with those principles, and indeed become someone's "Daoist, or Buddhist" practice.
  9. Wing Chun and Taoism

Yet, just because Wing Chun has Qigong, doesn't mean it is Daoist anything. Sum Nung has his roots of Wing Chun to Buddhism. From the time Wing Chun was developing in its early stages, till now, there may have been practitioners who practiced Daoism, or Buddhism, and added their own principles to the system. This was a normal occurrence in the martial arts in old times. Wing Chun was a formulation of techniques from other systems. Perhaps some learned one technique, and then it was passed to another person who had 5 techniques. By the time it came down to LIan Zan, he perhaps had loads of techniques, in which he then formulated a form.
  10. Wing Chun and Taoism

Wing Chun has its foundation in Buddhist Chan practices...perhaps. As there is no proof of any of the older monks and Wu Mei ever existing. Even so, the methods of application of mind, and principles of center-line are both of keeping excess from overtaking oneself. Meaning, keep the mind centered, and refine your movement. This is the same in Chan and in Daoist cultivation. Truthfully, it is neither a Daoist or Buddhist art. I used to think it was, back when I first started it in 1999. Then I realized it wasn't. You can make it the way you like it. Then it becomes your Wing Chun. :-)
  11. haha its likened to the teacher saying, "This is Cloud Hands" and you respond, "WTF! What, did I just get taller or something? I can touch the clouds now?"
  12. Pony religion?

Once there was a Chony Master (Pony Chan Master). He would always point his tail upwards, and all the other ponies would become pony-lightened. One day a young pony decided he wanted to be just like the Chony Master, and so he too would walk in the streets, look at the other ponies and point his tail upwards. Every other pony thought this little one was pony-lightened too, and he walked around feeling good and high. Then one day the young little pony came across the Chony Master. He pointed his tail upwards and the Chony Master chopped off the little one's tail. It was at that moment that the little pony became truly pony-lightened.
  13. What is the energetic significance of piercings/gauges?

Piercings cause blockages, removing them frees it up, but it won't "destroy" a channel". It will just obstruct the flow of Qi. "Destroyed" channel means death. lol Blocked energy will eventually equal death.Stagnant energy, a slow, slow death. Deficient energy, even a slower, and annoying death. I had my tongue pierced 3 times as a young teen. Messed up my heart. hahaha Took it out, had some herbs, and happy as can be. Ear piercing, had them too. Took those out as well...just didn't feel right in my head. hahaha doesn't mean all is dandy up there now. And a nose piercing I removed for fear of getting punched in the nose, if that were to be, and then having more damage than usual. Oh, and also because I felt uncomfortable in my head too. Then again, I am a bit sensitive to these things and the most subtle thing is very obvious to me, while to everyone else, its like a butterfly whisking past one's ear. *** Added: Some cultures utilize piercings as part of their historical traditions.
  14. Perhaps some things are a bit more complicated...? Eh, you didn't talk much anyway.. lol But when you did, it was like BOOOOM! Here's Malik. lol Kidding.. I haven't heard it yet.

  19. OM

Yes, don't chant OM while driving. I did, and cars weren't cars, time wasn't time, and I found myself from the 14ave exit on the Belt Pkwy in Brooklyn and over the Verrazano Bridge to Staten Island in less than 2 minutes. Not scary, but different, lol Chanting Amitabha is good for daily activities, or even "Stay Awake" helps too.
  20. Qigong teacher in Shanghai

Looking forward to having some company out here My small city is sweet and quiet. A nice park next to my home, with good tea shops, cheap, over the lake, and the occasional "Gangnam Style" song playing in the background.. HAHAHA Then, there is my front yard which is private and big enough to have fun and practice.

  24. Missed it, it was intertwined with merit. hahahaha Virtue is the substance that strengthens when merit is accrued. Jing Qi Shen = Merit VIrtue Practice Jing= Practice. Qi=Merit Shen= Virtue :-)
  25. Jing/Shen Gong?

No movements can open awareness, only the application of concentration can allow the dust of the mind to settle, and let the brightness of the true mind shine through. The more practice, the less dust.
