    Anyone in the world of cultivation who has an idea that a crunch time is on the horizon - in whatever form it may manifest - advises the ingestion of more light, the refinement of being, truth of heart and holding love as the highest value.

     

    Anyone in the world of cultivation who doesnt have a sense of crunch time imminent advises the same thing.

     

    The phrase 'falun da fa is good' for falun da fa practitioners is essentially a prayer or a mantra : a reminder of their higher self and humanity's highest good, within their own frame of reference.

     

    It is quite sensible to use an aide memoir, under stress, or to focus the mind. Lots of spiritual practitioners do it in one form or another.

     

    The graphic depictions of horrible deaths is all a bit Old Testament for modern people, and employs techniques for spiritual motivation similar to old school Catholicism, for example, which instilled a horror of the hell realms, as a motivator to working on self examination and self purity.

     

    It is all familiar enough stuff.

     

    I hope that the level of fear activated by the prophecies isnt harmful to anyone, I hope the practices counteract the fear sufficiently to keep falun practictioners on an even keel.

    Yes, that should always be a consideration whenever we think we know something. We would be in error to close our mind to other perspectives.

     

    not to be too cumbrian about this.....just meandering on the way of this topic, it comes to me to comment: the should and the always and the correct and the in error are part of the language and thinking pattern of certainty creation. Those modes are terrific for learning to drive and to use an oven etc, but .... a different kind of language is beneficial for facilitating a soft gaze mind set that allows previously unseen gestalt to come into focus.

    I wonder if Wayne Rooney is pre-cambrian ... if one is looking for a primitive form of life that is. Just speculating of course. Or perhaps looking at it the other way scoring a hat full of goals is evidence for intelligent design???

     

    Mickey Rooney never went to Cumbria did he. He remained pre - Cumbrian all his life.

    I guess if nobody wants to discuss evolutionary theories with immortal4life, the threads will die away.

     

    At the moment 'off topic' seems to be quite out of favour : quite a catholic selection of topics is here under the heading 'Taoist Discussion', and the topic of how the world began is no less relevant to taoists than anything else...

     

    If you want "off topic" to be more strenuously enforced as a filing system for posts, it would make sense if it was applied across the board, and the decision of what is 'ot' or not is open to interpretation.

     

    Having said that, if one poster repeatedly opens new threads on the same topic, at some point it would be considered anti social and be open to moderator action.

     

    I have always loved creation myths and stories, and I feel that meditative practise does for lots of us lead to an involvement with questions about genetic origination. Just as people like to know the lineage of their teacher, and find lineage practises filtering through to them spontaneously, and past life knowledge sometimes surfaces, people sometimes find themselves with potentially disquieting or intriguing senses and questions about How It All Began.

    Hehehe. Me too. We are just speaking from different perspectives.

     

    I am thinking you are speaking of particle /wave theory and I am speaking of quantum theory which reaches a stage in which usual laws no longer apply in which x is visible simultaneously, from one perspective, in the same moment, as the same x , stationed at both y and z.

     

    I dont think I can find the data to show this, I know about it not because I am a physics brain like joeblast, only because I find quantum physics fascinating and so it seems does most of the UK as we have professors on TV a lot telling of their latest theories and research. We are blessed to have the BBC. And fun that physics departmental research has now become a kind of TV soap opera, which I'm sure helps their funding.

    Hi cat,

     

    I don't know how it goes in the US, but in Europe, besides the common essences/roots ( don't know the exact term for that in english) from which homeopathic remedies are prepared and that you can find anywhere, you can ask pharmacies to prepare special remedies based on the antibiotic substance you want to release (this is called _Isotherapy_ it triggers the body into releasing the harmful physical substances, and their energetic imprints). So you won't find it online...You may have to go to a pharmacy/laboratory that specializes into homeopathy. Of course the costs are higher for this type of remedy because there are prepared on demand.

    AH, I got you, yes. It would be possible to get that made up by a pharmacy, but probably they would be very reluctant to potentise an allopathic treatment and would ethically prefer to follow traditional homeopathic protocol. I have seen, however, over the counter available potentised neem, which is a similar concept. Thanks for introducing the idea. (I am in the UK, btw)

    I used to take a hand held set of chimes with me when I taught until the cat chewed up the mallet.

    They look like this.

    It's a great way to show and feel increasing sensitivity to energy. I stand at the back of the student and hit one of the chimes and move the chimes up and down the spine. Usually from about 6-12 inches away. Most will start shaking and bouncing as the sound waves hit their energy fields. Some actually have had a little orgasmic burst. :) Before the class they never would have believed they could respond to energy. This really helps show them that they have developed sensitivity and it's not just their mind playing tricks on them.

     

    I use it to show them their progress. Some like one specific chime note over another. Some like to "steal" the chimes on break and run up behind their friends and make them shake with a surprise chiming. :lol: I do this after about 4 hours or so of training.

     

    energy is so much fun.

    May I suggest that 'X' can be observed from two different perspectives thereby causing it to appear as 'X' under one set of observations and to appear as 'Y' under another set of observations?

     

    Therefore I am suggesting that 'X' is always and only 'X' and only 'appears' to be 'Y'.

     

    A radio wave is most-times observed as a wave, but, if the amount of time allowed for the observation to the smallest possible increment is made a particle can be observed.

     

    If what is viewed is considered both a particle and a wave it is only because time has not been considered and we all know (Hehehe. Assumption.) that time and space must be considered inclusively of each.

     

    You can suggest it, of course you can, and you can enjoy suggesting things and all that, but still, the fact is that I wasnt referring to particle/wave, I was referring to ..... well...what I actually said.:)

    A very good point - I wasnt necessarily meaning 'pre' to mean 'before' in the traditional chronological sense of the word - more of a 'determined independently of time' I suppose (its why I included 'absolutely' in there ^_^ ) - whether its pre or post it will still have a distribution of probabilities that add to the 'decision' of the event in question :D

    Yes, as is in the quantum field where something can exist simultaneously at x as well as y. Greg Braden's Fractal Time is interesting about how quantum calculations of multiple simultanities fit with ancient wisdoms about time as a wave formation /wave formations.

    I have just seen your thread. I am glad your are doing better. After your treatment you can take an homeopathic remedy prepared with the Clindamycin in high dilutions to clean your body, unless you nourish doubts against homeopathy :lol:

    If you caught yourself then it was correct.

    Equal chance to have the opportunity to see for themself to find out if they are a, b,c or even d. The best that not fit is not the correct method, how ancient the method even shengong or something else. To wear a bigger hat that not fit you head will rob your sight.

    I'll posit this whole thing with quantum mechanical underpinnings. The experiment is altered by the observer. Events happen as a summation of probabilities - there is no possible way for things to be "absolutely predetermined."

     

    Qi and consciousness, both quantum mechanical phenomena.

     

    Interesting, anything 'pre' brings us back to time.. predetermined, precognition... Joe, you've been reading some from the 'dynamics of time and space 'series, havent you? I dont know if you have done any of the excercises re. loosening our usual mode re. perception of time. What we think of as 'pre' could equally well be 'post', as our sense of 'time' is so extremely frog-in-a-well.
