your dvd's have really worked for me!

  4. Just had a very powerful 'eyes open' practice. I had reviewed your dvd complete form and decided to see what I looked like in the mirror. It was very intense. I am recovering from moving lots of book boxes and tools during a friend's move to WA state. Lower back stress/strain. This session made a noticeable difference. thanks again for making FPCH available.

  5. new to bums ... i am a quaker also called Friends just dropped in

  6. Q: FPCH mirror image practice? I used to do the complete long form TCC in mirror image for 'balancing' left and right. I am strongly right handed.

I have been doing the FPCH for 10 mos 2x daily. So am feeling like i might introduce some Left side emphasis. Your thoughtS?

  7. Nella Fantasia by Evancho is stunning. Thanks.

I am purchasing the first of the FPCH for a couple of nurses I know. One of them has seriously compromised breathing issues. I hope to start her on a program. (I have been suggesting tai chi for about a year so don't really know how to get her going) She does see what good shape i am in for 70.

  8. I have also been following Haley Westenra for a number of years.

i find her Benedictus extremely moving:

If you have time take a look at my son's paintings. I particularly like his link on eyeseehue.com: http://eyeseehue.com/#1925624/Jesse-P-Thomas

  11. Flying Phoenix Chi Kung

finally I think I have figured out how to get on here Here is a little about me before I put my question out there. I am 70 have been practicing some forms of Tai Chi and Chi Kung since 1976. Even taught some basic short and long forms in New Orleans in the '80s. for the last 15 years i have been a rancher in SE Arizona desert. So I have had little contact with other practicioners. Ranching is an everyday job for me. Now I find myself with some new help and a little more time so I am doing more tai chi chi kung. Recently, I bought the long form FPCK disk. It was immediately so powerful I have done it 2x daily. I also do some standing and a wu dang sitting meditation. The form has loosened every joint in my body ( my back pops during practice in subtle ways as do shoulders etc. ) The form was immediately felt during the learning phase and increased energetics continue. So recently I bought the 5 short form disk and have started learning those. Again I am amazed at the feelings and energetics at the early stages. My question is: how do I schedule these practices? I am doing long form at dawn and early evening, before bed actually. And i try to do Tai chi during the day sometime between chasing cows and repairing old pickup trucks. When and how do I do the short forms? should I do all 5 in one session or should I space them out. ok that's it for now. Thanks to Empty Water and wtm for pointing me to this thread. peace is not a destination it is the way
