  1. The power of chakras

Were you being sarcastic? I did SFQ for half a year so I am well versed with its effects. If not, well, thank you!
  2. anonymous the 99% ect?

I wonder what Lao Tzu would think about all this. "The Tao of Internet Censorship"
  3. Energy Blockage on Neck

I had a major blockage in my kidney area that lasted 3 weeks (it's only now starting to dissipate). I started Spring Forest Qigong about a month ago, and when doing the Small Universe meditation (basically it's like MCO), my energy would get completely "stuck" in the kidney area. I coud literally FEEL it. Here's what happens: Start from the lower dantien, move the energy to the bladder, then to the perineum, then to the tailbone, then to the lower back, then to the kidney area and... This is where my problem is. Instead of going to the kidney area, the energy makes a slight detour to the left side of my spine and gets stuck in a "energy bubble" right under my left kidney. When I try to push it up to the next spot (the back of the neck), I can literally feel it trying to burst through the bubble to make it's way up but to no avail. I had 2 phone sessions, one with master Lin, and one with master Nance to try to clear the blockage but it hasn't helped. Master Nance suggested I do more of the active exercises to help clear it, which I started doing as well. I was getting really fed up so I tried some alternate methods, like deep tissue massage, and that did help temporarily. I distinctly remember this ONE time I was doing the small universe meditation after getting a massage, the bubble burst for the first time ever and the energy SURGED to the top of my neck, vertebrae by vertebrae, and it felt AMAZING. I never felt energy in that part of my spine in my life. After the meditation was over, I felt incredible. Like it enabled me to finally, definitively, identify a major cause of some problems I was experiencing. But, the next day, the blockage came back as usual. Drastic times call for drastic measures so I got out my foam roller and started rolling out every nook and cranny in my back, about an hour a day or so. I ended each session by banging my spine with the foam roller (holding it over the top of my head, and hitting it from the back). After doing that for a few days, I finally got the blockage partially open. The energy is able to get through but not completely. I'd say 50% of it is still getting "sucked in" to the bubble, and the other 50% makes its way to the top. But, hey, it worked, and it's getting better every day so I'm a happy camper.
  4. I became enlightened

Did you read the ebooks he posted? It's pure gold.
  5. I became enlightened

  6. I had no idea Drew was somewhat well known in the cultivation community. Since the moment I started reading his posts he always came off as an obnoxious, annoying kid that had no clue what he is talking about. Whats weird is that he always repeats his same old Chubyi Lin (I mean absolutely no disrespect to this wonderf man) stories, same old full lotus crap, stuff he pulls out of his ass, etc. But what really ticks me off about this guy is his ending every sentence with his trademark "haha". Im sure hes a nice guy and all but fuuuuuu he annoys the shit out of me for some reason. /endrant
  7. That is indeed interesting, but how does changing the physical properties of a brain area going to affect its neurochemical/electrical functioning? In what way is "affecting the nerves" changing one's conscious experience?
  8. The insult policy reminder emphasizes that direct insults are not tolerated. The thing is, everyone's definition of what is offensive to them is different. For instance, I do not personally find the term "bitches" offensive when referring to the female gender. Likewise, from my experience, women usually do not get offended by these sort of words depending on the context. If certain women are willing to go out of their way to prove their point, then I do not feel they are not contributing to the discussion at hand, and are actually behaving disruptively, which the insult policy reminder emphasizes is also not tolerated. If fulllotus is indeed doing what he claims to be doing, then he has the right to discuss it openly on a message board because he is not directly insulting any specific persons on the forum. If you have personal issues about what he is doing then that's your problem, and that's something you should keep to yourself, IMO.
  9. .... what in God's name? You guys (girls?) are confusing the crap out of me. This guy fulllotus is claiming that he has been giving women orgasms in public with his pineal gland. I did not believe his claims to be just and true and thus I asked for proof. Nothing more, nothing less. I feel I'm treading on very dangerous territory here so I'll just back off and see what fulllotus has to say for himself.
  10. Gone they are, forever with the wind.
  11. I'm guessing you're the person that filed a complaint about my post being sexist? I'm very sorry if my post got you very very very offended. I'll go ahead and remove those awful, dirty words.
  12. Yo, lotusdude, Can you get to answering my question whether you could film yourself giving a female a "pineal" long-distance orgasm? You dodged my question last time... so I do have some additional questions for you: How do you even know that its your pineal gland you are flexing? Is it because you feel the region in the middle of your brain tingling/emitting light? What do you mean by "flexing"? How does one flex a piece of brain tissue? Science points to two more anatomical parts of the brain that may be the actual third eye, including the pituitary gland and the hypothalamus. As far as we know, the only thing the pineal gland does is produce melatonin, and regulate the sleep/wake cycle. There isn't even any conclusive evidence that it makes DMT. he thing is this that there is no person on this planet, no matter how advanced, that can break down mental/spiritual phenomena on an anatomical level as we know of. So I find it intellectually offensive that you bring upon yourself the authority to make such bold claims. Almost everyone has eventually stumbled upon a diagram of the chakra system, the microcosmic orbit, or what have you and the pineal gland is always associated with the third eye yet I have never, ever seen any kind of evidence to back this up. It has sort of become common knowledge amongst people doing energetic work that this is so because so and so told me or because I so it on the internets, but there is not a single study, piece of text or anything of the sort getting into the nitty-gritty of how the gland actually works. Like I said earlier, there was (as you know, I'm sure) an entire book written on DMT by Rick Straussman and even then he couldn't draw any kind of conclusion on any level. The connection to the mystical phenomena being dependent upon the pineal is incredibly far-fetched. It would be admitting that a person with a tumor on their pineal gland, who would have to get it surgically removed, would be physically denied access to the higher spiritual realms just as a person with no legs is denied the ability to walk. Anyway, that's not the point-what I want to know is if you are game, then shoot- put your money where your mouth is Grab your cellphone, go to your local starbucks, sit down in full lotus on one of the tables, spot a female, flex that gland of yours and get said female to climax on video. If you could actually pull this off and post it on youtube, you would be an international sensation. Who in their right mind could have figured that you can make a female orgasm like that? You could actually prove that this is possible.
  13. fulllotus, Can you record a video of yourself giving a female a long-distance orgasm by "flexing your pineal gland"? Shouldn't be too hard as you said you did this regularly in coffee shops. I'd be really interested in seeing this.
  14. Healing the kidneys.

Hey guys, I guess it's not so important how things got this way but I believe my kidneys are either diseased or failing on me, then again it might not be as bad as I'm imagining it. I'm only going to be able to see a urologist on the 29th. I wanted to know in the meantime if there are any energetic practices or foods/herbs I can do/eat in the meantime to help them recover. The only thing I'm doing at the moment is Flying Phoenix Chi Kung and a basic 45-minute Chakra meditation daily. I tried "breathing into the kidneys" (breathing by expanding the back cavity instead of the belly), from the Bruce Frantzis "Taoist breathing" CD-Set, and this only aggravated things- it made my kidneys hurt even more and it made an old trap injury resurface, then again I was probably doing it wrong. Any helpful advice would be much appreciated. Going to the ER is not an option unfortunately. I think I should be fine until my appointment. Wish me luck.
  15. What is GENERAL DISCUSSION?

Wow I didn't know there were actually any moderators on this forum. 75% of the discussions in the General Discussion is completely off-topic, random nonsense. I slap my forehead at least a couple of times just viewing the front page then proceed to log off pondering about full lotus pineal microwave powered orgasms, poisonous fungi to advance spirituality, global warming, the zeitgeist movement, ejaculation, how to become enlightened in one day, etc. I AM LEARNING SO MUCH THANK YOU TOA BUMS.
  16. I am visiting my folks for a couple of months and I'm not exactly in the best condition health-wise right right now so my dad blames it all on my qigong and meditation. He just walked in my room and was pissed because I was sitting in a chair meditating with my headphones on so he sits me down for a lecture and states that my meditating is getting on his nerves and that I should meditate as little as possible. He says that without the guidance of a master I could go crazy meditating as he has allegedly seen countless people instituted into insane asylums for meditating too much! (apparently he says he has 7 years experience on this topic) His answer to all of life's problems is to pray to God! It got to the point that I was so pissed off I raised my voice and now I'm a "disrespectful little shit" for having done that. I am kind of speechless right now. He's a great dad and all but at 64 years old he's so goddamn stubborn and stuck in his ways it's really impossible to relate to him or have a normal discussion without him putting down my beliefs.
  17. Hi all, I've been diagnosed for a severe mental illness 4 years ago. I have been meditating and doing various energy work for years now will little to no results. (1-2 hours a day) It's extremely frustrating and I'm beginning to give up. It's clear I have some energy blockages that are preventing me from progressing anywhere. Does anyone know any real qigong masters in the US or Canada (I'm willing to travel however far it takes) that I could get healing or learn from? Surely it can't be a matter of chance to find a true master in one's lifetime? I have heard great things about Chunyi Lin. Does he still provide healing sessions? Any help would be immensely appreciated.
  18. Where to find a genuine qigong master?

I started doing Spring Forest Qigong since I posted the thread and I'm happy to say that although I didn't feel anything at first, today I had some positive results. I have never felt this calm, happy and centered in weeks and I look very much forward to my sessions. I am going to use master Lin's method for at least 4 months and I'll take it from there. For now, I'm liking it a lot and I can't help but love the guy. (nohomo) As a sidenote, iboga is not your typical psychadelic. Not even close to anything you probably have in mind. Do a quick search on it. One person described it as 10 years of therapy condensed into one evening and a lot of people agree. It literally rewires your brain and if you have any drug addicitons, it gets rid of them almost instantly. Thanks for all the help guys. I'm going to ask to cut this thread right here. I have everything I need now.
  19. Where to find a genuine qigong master?

Thanks, and you raise very important points, but like it was mentioned earlier, it doesn't hurt to try. I disagree that spiritual practices are for "normal" people only. So, what now- I don't deserve to have a fulfilling spiritual life? Bullshit. I've had mystical experiences in my life that have led me to the spiritual path and I know in the depths of my heart that I will never stray from it no matter what. I'm sorry that what you have tried has not worked for you. I am sorry you gave up. I am going to keep trying and doing everything I can on all fronts because I haven't got anything to lose at this point. So many weird and unexpected shit can happen in life. There are sooo many variables in this situation that psychotherapy can't even begin to solve. My motto is to keep an open mind and an open heart without having any expectations. What is the point of confining yourself to therapy and medication? In many native tribes, when a person is physically or mentally sick, they visit the tribe's shaman and they get cured- plain and simple. If I had the money I'd just go straight to Gabon and see the bwiti for an iboga treatment. It might not cure me but it would probably solve most of my problems on the get-go in addition to giving me a profound new perspective on myself I can actually work with. See- the iboga plant opens your brain up on a spiritual axis and goes from there. You are put in a position where you are face-to-face with everything you believe and the healing is from inside-out. In therapy you still end up unconsciously filtering out what is being given to you through your beliefs and conditioning whereas iboga doesn't give you that option. But I digress- it makes me sick how people put down people with mental illnesses and label them as "inferior" as if we're somehow not worthy of pursuing these paths. Fuck that shit.
  20. Study Finds High-Fructose Corn Syrup Contains Mercury

They could at least post the amount of mercury they actually found. Sheesh. There's mercury in literally everything on the planet in some amount.
  21. I remember a quote by Tim Leary asking if he's had any positive amanita muscaria experiences to share and he said "Nope. Not a single one." This mushroom is toxic and lethal and has absolutely zero recreational or therapeutic value. You're an idiot for having ingested it and you're even more of an idiot for advocating it on a public forum. You should try sitting down on a chair for a change maybe it'll knock some sense into you.
