  1. Ginseng. American or Asian?

Hi, I'm thinking of trying out Ginseng Complex Capsules which contains American, Korean, Red Chinese and Siberian Ginseng. I'm new to Ginseng and I was wondering if anyone can point me to the right type for me and how much to take? I've attached the label. Thanks 007640HB.pdf
  2. Spontaneous Movement : Form and Formless

Hi, I did some research and found some clips and info on spontaneous qigong related from schools from England, UK. I haven't tried any of them yet, just thought you might find it interesting. Theres not much cause it's hard finding those kind of clips on the net. http://www.selfhealing.org.uk Reference to clips: http://www.shaolin.org.uk/en/index.html http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=...007842947302386 http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=...17097&hl=en http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=...29339&hl=en http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=...29339&hl=en Enjoy!
  3. Yeah, I bought it from the local TCM clinic. The dosage was based on my age.
  4. I just bought some of that herbal medicine. I was told to take 8 pills, 3 times a day for about 2 weeks, I've got 16 days supply.
  5. His a fundamental muslim, I know this cause I'm ex-muslim. The chanting are verses from the quran. For example, I have to keep my practice and beliefs to myself, if my family ever found out that i practice qigong and if the country was ruled by shariah law (which the UK is not) then... i would be prosecuted, the punishment would depend on different traditions, in my tradition you would be stoned to death and then burnt, this is called called "tazir". No discrimination against muslims intended, I apologize if i have offended anyone. I was just explaining one type of Islam.

  9. Fu healings

My senior classmate gave his opinion on this talisman. According to our lineage this talisman is for protection from bodily harm. Looks like its hand drawn but there is no seal of authority on it and also the last part at the bottom of the talismans doesnt look right. It didnt have the sealing part.

I'll see if my master knows whats its for. Talismans are normally folded into a triangle, this is because we want the talisman potency to increase immeasurably by reinforcing the talisman into a triangle. In taoism we believe in the Cosmic Trinity; Heaven, Man, Earth. We actually try to harness the cosmic energy with the combination of the talisman. The 3 points of the triangle represent the cosmic trinity.
