  1. Is wing chun internal?

From what I know, (or think I know) Emin gave him 3 seconds which he counted out before attacking William. Even the William Cheung students say that (as one said to me) but say that Emin did not win as they were both still fighting before being separated. Emin was sitting on William chain punching his face and William was lying on his back chain punching back. It didn't look good for William. Any way Do you have any info on the differences good or bad between the two? Thanks Seth.
  2. Is wing chun internal?

I Like Wing Chun and plan to give it some time as an adjunct to my Yang Mian but I have some questions, In melbourne most of the schools seem to be related to grandmaster William Cheung, student of Yip Man's. It seems good but I wouldn't know about their foot work... I also recently made friends with a German guy who teaches W.T. (Wind Tsun) and it seems to focus on much more sensitivity training, indeed when I spar with him if our arms meet, well when I think our arms should meet his arms are already gone (like they weren't there) and he is usally hitting me in the face or tapping my forehead indicating that he just got my Eyeball. Does anybody know anything about the Differences or have Good advice on this subject. Seth. (Emin Bozteppe (W.T.) years ago challenged William Cheung and got him on the ground But I know as well even a Master can be surprised or make a Mistake.) Thanks Again.
  3. Beyond Duality

She's the one! She also wrote 'Do you Need a guru?' which I loved as well. Two legendary, Highly informative works for cutting through Da Crap! Seth
  4. Jerry Alan Johnson

Cool, is Pa Kua just another way of spelling Bagua or are they two different styles? Seth.
  5. Beyond Duality

Has anyone read the book 'Halfway up the Mountain'? I cant remember the womans name who wrote it, but it deals Lots with the typical 'half baked' Advaitins and others from similar philosophy's. I think the subtitle was ...premature claims to enlightenment. Its a fascinating topic, especially with systems like Advaita floating around in the west, removed from the traditional teaching structures and controls or safety mechanism that stop Non dual Ego mania or mistaking the menu for the meal. Advaita teaches anyone who learns the lingo to argue like a non-dual Master, but funnily thats all they ever seem to do - Argue (and sit around all day in the smug glow of someone who thinks they know better than everyone else) Sorry Patric this isn't directed at you at all, and I LOVE Non Dual teachings, the subject just came up in the thread and its one I find particularly interesting. Seth. I know, I know, we do a lot of arguing here at Tao Bums as well but at least we aren't living with the delusion that 'we don't have to do anything cause it's all one' God! wait a second are telling me I'm already perfect and the works already done?!? Cool! sitting round all day is looking more and more attractive...

Thanks Hundun, but I'm in Australia so it's not worth the Postage hassle when I'm happy to just buy it. I like to own things I'm interested in and always worry that something will happen to things of others while there in my care. Seth.
  7. Why Taoism is different

TaoMeow and Seadog, on the Aboriginal thing your both right. The splitting of the penis to make it like a kangaroos was done in some central Australian initiations, but other tribes also used the opening of the perineum simulating the womans first blood. It stood out to the Elders that a Girl has a very obvious sign of transition into Womanhood where a Boy does not on his path into Manhood. Strong transitions are very important markers in any tribal society. So they gave the boy the symbol as well in his Manhood initiation. Also One (or a few, but less) tribes continued the thorn piercing. Although I would be Very hesitant to say they were trying to understand female menstruation by copying it. So many tribes, so many similar customs, and so many levels of meaning and practicality incorporated. I've heard a number of Aboriginal Elders talk on these subjects over the years and have a few people who have been through these initiations. Seth.

I read this guys autobiography years ago and loved it. I'm gonna order his stuff. Thanks Hundun. Occasionally I would remember things from his book but but i couldnt remember his name or what the book was called. I can't wait to hear the cd's. Seth.
  9. Semen Kung, Chi Kung and Crown Center Orgasms

Yep, well put indeed Although it seem some (maby lucky) souls don't have or need the first way and just happily and harmoniously grow slowly up. You read of the occasional saint who says they never experienced anything that interesting but that carry a tremendous field around them. though I definitely 'needed' my experiences. Seth.
  10. Semen Kung, Chi Kung and Crown Center Orgasms

It was One hell of a shared orgasm but it didn't awaken her Kundalini as Hers was already active. I left a lot out of the description including the Kundalini psychosis for a month or so after the six months were up. In Kabbalah there is a saying that there are two journeys up the tree. The first one has all the fireworks, temporary powers, mind blowing experiences blah blah, And the second journey starts when the first one finishes and may take the rest of your life, as you then slowly and patiently and gently intergrate what you learned, as you climb in a way that includes your whole being and life. Seth.
  11. Semen Kung, Chi Kung and Crown Center Orgasms

Great thread everyone. Xenolith I love the feeling of your Love and support for the Feminine and our Sisters. Nice one dude. the description of the CCO reminds me of my kundalini awakening in many ways. I was 19 with my first longterm girlfriend. we were both practicing Chias sexual stuff, and in addition I was meditating 4 -5 hours a day using a variety of techniques: Middle pillar exersize, MCO, and Drunvalo's MerKaBa practice with extra hours of focus just on its pranic breathing technique. Needless to say during a dual cultivation session I was filled with a tremendous Light and heat that moved up my spine during orgasm. It felt as if my brain had used my spine as a straw to suck my orgasmic fluids up my spine to its centre. The top of my head Burst/dissolved in ecstasy and I had to stop immediately and lie down and promptly left my body. The next 6 month were very interesting. The fluids Mixing in my brain changed me. they would burst up the spine and i would intricately feel the different ventricles inside my brain and I could feel the glands in the mid brain secreting stuff to mix with the new fluids and then it would drip down from the soft pallet in my mouth on to the back of my tounge. The sweetest Taste in existence. It felt like my body would absorb it from here and it would awaken 'points' in my nervous system. I was constantly in bliss, sometimes in Cosmic Consciousness, I could leave my body at will, a Physical Extra-Terrestrial was teaching me the secrets of time and space travel (my girlfriend met Him) And I could become one with anything as my sense of self was completely fluid for the next 6 months. It took a long time to Integrate this experience. I too had great difficulty finding anyone who had experienced the fluid/nectar side of it that was still living. I didn't see stuff spinning as you described, I just became aware that I was containing everything and that everything was energy. At this point I usually was not aware of my body either. I don't know if its the same or not but thanks for sharing Seth.
  12. Who is /are Max's Egyptian teachers?

Sounds good. I Look forward to meeting you and everyone else there. I hope it doesn't take too long to happen Seth
  13. Who is /are Max's Egyptian teachers?

I never said anything about 'all the information' nor 'Stars' nor did I ask about 'who other teachers learnt off' so "who is Rude Now?" Kunlun only seems to have a pull on the forum because of people like you. We'd all read our threads and ask real questions - not passive agressive ones - and just be happy and learn and support each other and any people who were seriously interested and not just looking for a way to take a Dump on everyone. Seriously read my post properly and answer in a more rational way. I Asked lots of questions and funnily enough I didn't crap on anyone while i asked and - Amazingly people kindly answered me without backs getting up... Seth
  14. Who is /are Max's Egyptian teachers?

I've never met Max, I've read the short description of the practice (Level 1) and have begun Part one and the Hundred days. I'm not brainwashed as I haven't had enough time around The Evil and Manipulative Egyptian Channeler or his Evil Co-Hort followers. I Started the practice on A hunch as I got a good vibe from early posts by Yoda, August Leo and Scotty, and I thought "Hmm, That sounds like It's worth a try" Day One - Nothing much happened. Day two - Some mild leg shaking. Day three - more of the same but some mild bliss sensations and I'm beginning to think "Nah, I don't think this practice is for me..." Next practice - It blew My socks Off!!! as I said in another post it was like being Shagged by the Universe for an Hour and a Half! It was so good it was almost horrible. The horrible part was - Incredible bliss Holding up an Orbital Sander made of bliss and just grinding the hell out of all these old wounds and rigid emotional patterns. I felt like I'd had a years worth of Emotional healing in the space of a session. For me this is it. It continues to be like this in my sessions. W.Y.G. You are just rude. Everyone, yes Every single person who has (actually) met Max and posted on tao bums has said he is really nice - Unlike You - That he is really humble - Unlike you - And that he has a high level of Cultivation - Well I can't comment on that as I have never met you, Just as you cant comment on Max as you have NEVER MET HIM. Also He says Meet him once for a small priced workshop - OH MY GOD!!! He must be EVIL!!! Look out W.Y.G. He is after you!! He wants To Kill your Family!!! The Hilarious thing is that from what I hear of him, if you went to one of his well priced workshops, He would probably welcome you with open arms. Moderator, Kick me if you wish, but Kick the people making personal Attacks against Max and his Students as well. Some of you here Are Really Rude. Seth. (obviously brainwashed)
  15. Wang Liping in Denmark

I Hate to bring up G.I.Gurdjieff at a time like this but here goes! In talking about the backward nature of perception in humans he asked Questions like - Why are we willing to pay $2000 for the latest gadgets or a car or anything else with out complaining about the price, but we want spiritual teachings for free? Where are our values lying when a new ipod is worth it but the teachings of a master are not? I'm not saying Wang is or isn't a master, I wouldn't know and i don't have any desire to train with him at this moment. (especially when some of his Students go around saying things like "no one else has TanTien other than them" which is an attitude i guess they got from Wang, and a great marketing ploy for the gullible) Seth.

  19. Hi everyone Christian mystics in many traditions had moving prayers. An elderly Jesuit friend years ago showed me a number of practices and I have forgotten most of them. He had Studied the great Christian Mystics for most of his life and had done his P.H.D on the various practices they taught. He practiced them as well. One of the practices was the rocking back and forward from the waist while kneeling, similar to the Hasidic practice 'Cleaving'. it was done with prayer. Also he showed me rosary practices where the Christian mantras were used in different parts of the body. He also had learned Some of the celibate Sexual practices of St Teresa of Avila which move sexual energy with breath, prayer and movement through the body - Jesusgasm He was an amazing man with a Light about him that was disconcerting. He inspired me a lot in my own path. Everyone quotes Master Nan saying things like "Did the Buddha need chi circulations or did any of the Zen monks need them, No..." I'm not dissing Lord Buddha but he only experienced a small portion of the Vedic-yogic teachings. The Extreme Ascetic Tapa style practices which made a skeleton out of him. Then he chucked the entire system out with the bath water, and all the Buddhists since have been saying things like Well it didn't work for Buddha so it wont work for anyone. What about all the Enlightened Hindu and Yogic or Tantric Saints who it did work for. "Ohh but there not as Enlightened as Buddha..." It's ok to believe this, if your a Fundamentalist, but don't get sucked into this line of Ultra conservative - My way or the Highway thinking. Also there are very few people or saints who Tapas has worked for and many meditating skeletons who some good old Buddhist middle path would probably be great for And What about how incredibly still the energy moving meditations can make the mind? Samadhi is easy after the right stuff so I know with personal experience that Bodri is way off on that count. Seth Sat Chit Anand!

Thanks heaps, I've got it and am about to do a session with it Seth.
  21. Kunlun in Australia?

I'm In for sure and I'll come anywhere. I love the practice and am only on day 5. The shaking is getting much fuller and stronger and when I stop and sit afterwards I feel like I'm full of Golden light and my mind becomes Very still and calm. It's funny hearing people say Kunluns a movement practice not a stillness practice Anyway I'm busy inspiring people and already have a few who are interested. I can probably get a lot more through the Tantra Community here in Melbourne. I think my friend with the Studio might be interested as well. Seth. Sat Chit Anand

  23. Its strange that the one accusing everyone of N.L.P. manipulation, mind jobs and the like, is also the one trying the hardest to convince everyone that his perspective is the true one. Or is it just a desperate cry for attention? Doctors Orders "More slow Tai Chi, Less Kunlun angst" Seth. Sat Chit Anand!
  24. Kunlun in Australia?

Mmm, What size room or what kind of venue would suit you. As i said my friend has a studio that gets used for workshops. Its not large, more medium sized. How many days does a workshop take? What do you charge per workshop? Would you run more than one thing? If so how many evenings, days and over how long would you need. What kind of accomodation would you expect. My friends brought Gangaji out a few years ago and she screamed and tantrumed for most of her stay because things weren't quite as she had asked Im not expecting that kind of behavior from you guys, im just trying to decide if I'm up for the task. Is an outside venue Better or one with outside options. Do you usally use caterers in your workshops? Seth. oooh Exciting...
  25. Kunlun in Australia?

Australia Yeah! It'll be good to meet all you Aussie fans too. Seth. Sat Chit Anand!
