  1. Beliefs and Intent

Quantum mechanics posits that all physical phenomena exists definitely only in relation to the observer. Without the observer, it only exists as a possibility. But then who observes the observed for the self awareness to be? Buddhism is actually the perfect remedy for those who suffer since its joys are independent of physical or mental conditions. Hmm...then again, I guess you could say that for other religions also? Too much thinking today .
  2. Beliefs and Intent

More talk from me is only speculation as I have not transcended singular or bodily awareness nor have I created universes, given rise to Buddha realms.... etc. . My point is simple: Self-awareness is itself ignorance. Awareness is the root of all creation and suffering. When I said the transcending of awareness I meant of singular outlook of the universe as a single phenomenon. All knowing, all pervading awareness or unawarness, being or non being are concepts that are beyond words for only experience can bring them about. Nirvana is therefore neither a state of existence, non-existence, both, or neither. And what gave rise to realization except the state of experience itself? Which came first, the realization or the experience? Such distinctions are silly. Just because someone has told you that the colors you see are illusory and dependent on the human eye doesn't let you see the truth of phenomena (again this is a metaphor). You don't seem to believe that a Bodhisattva can indeed transform himself into myriad forms and create Buddhalands for the sake of enlightenment of all beings. Well I think it's cool , and believe it to be very very possible.
  3. Beliefs and Intent

Samsara may be an expression of Nirvana, but so called "realizing" you speak of through a leap in view is itself a samsaric delusion and part of the cycle. But my guess is that Nirvana sees samsara only as a coin would see the other side as a probability of occurrence of which there are infinite variations. I didn't mean that the universe is destroyed, but the discriminative nature of the mind and the craving of identity must be transcended. I would like to know whether you speak of this realization from personal experience, or I must include you in with all these so called enlightened masters who talk of simply realizing the "Right View" for one to "enter" into Nirvana. And who is it that holds this vieless view? Awareness itself may become free of these concepts but itself shines by the attachments to being. Unless this awareness can be physically, mentally, and phenomenally transcended (NOT just through views), the mind stream will continue, divide, grasp, create, suffer and so on. Awesome. It is with ignorance that one grasps to form. And with that form comes consciousness and further division and grasping. Believing that the arising of form and conditions without the seer or the dooer is realization is not cutting off the very root of the matter that let's the universe manifest. The very ignorance is the attachment to being and this is NOT just regarding ideologies and views, but experience also. No the world is an illusion created by the grasping of the mind. "Seeing" appearances as dream like and illusion like is method to final realization but to be stuck at this stage is playing a silly game of pretending. It is only holding the right view which alone cannot deliver one to final Enlightenment. Yes this is to be directly experienced and not simply "viewed." This has nothing to do with what I'm saying.
  4. Beliefs and Intent

The vivid appearances have arise due to ignorance. There IS no "EVERYTHING IS THE SAME" awareness that is not ignorance. I disagree that Nirvana and Samsara are one. Nirvana is a term to counter Samsara. The nearest metaphor I can think of is someone claiming that there is a fish and further stating that the non-fishness is one with the fish.... Nirvana is not a state, view, understanding, or any imaginable phenomena. David Loy has it wrong that Samsara and Nirvana are just difference of viewpoints. He is simply speaking of the end of the cyclical cycle of Samsara that is the belief in the reality of awareness. It is still dependent on being which discriminates itself from non-being. That single universe one has manifested must be transcended and destroyed. I agree. The world is the false creation of the mind. It is absolutely an illusion and a dream like phenomena that comes from the ignorant attachment to the world being a certain form one way or another. The awakening you speak of is only an attachment to the creation itself. Simply switching your views is NOT Nirvana. The final river one has to cross is the duality of being and non-being. I am not saying that the world is our thoughts. I am saying exactly what you posted in that it is the work of a ghost like mind that is neither existent or non-existent. I believe this is where the usefulness of words are ended. To see the world through the filter of discrimination is to awaken according to that view of discrimination. I could be totally wrong on my assessment of things, for mere philosophical conceptualizations are far from true understanding.

  6. Beliefs and Intent

As long as you see phenomena arising, there will be the subtle grasping of awareness that shines to let that phenomena "be" as it is. Call it self-luminous manifestation when you have simply removed the lower cycles of creation only to come back to the source of creation: This is the ultimate "I." There can only BE separation. BEING is separation, yet you can't really call it that either. Why? Because it is separate from...nothing... It is un-born. It is NOT. Consciousness ignorantly emerges into one and separates back into pieces again. Self-awareness is its nature and it is ignorance. A non-dual event occurs ONLY because there is the subtle grasping for existence. You're talking about the microcosmic cycles of viewpoint, but the existence of phenomena itself. Yes insight and experience are two different things, but both must lead to one another. There is no such thing as the universe except that which is ignorance.

  8. Beliefs and Intent

I might have misunderstood this quote as it is out of context, But this state seems to be an attachment to the state of no-self experience. Where in consciousness no longer identifies itself with the body or the self, but with creation. This is like someone creating a doll figure of himself and confuses himself as that doll and thinks that it is the reality, an unconditioned end... There is no such thing as a non-dual event for it is conditioned by consciousness and a grasping for existence. This breaks down to create cycles of more and more duality and back to this whatever "oneness." I see no outside universe outside of the "I." And I see no "I" either. So what is this, but a question mark itself?
  9. Beliefs and Intent

Chicken...egg...chicken...egg... HAHA I SEE A PATTERN!! ...2 more cents... Fate has no meaning for those participating through the oceans of fate. Believing it or not believing it has absolutely no consequences if it is held to be true. Moreover, no outside agent (a non-existence/controller) can be observed independently from the phenomena of...fate... Why then, worry about the mind's useless musings? Absolute chaos and chance also have no inherent value because phenomena itself arises from the grasping of an identity (ignorance). That identification cannot observe chaos because it has automatically assumed an order by simply existing as a "point of view," a reference point. If absolute chance were to be truly understood, your experiences will be completely groundless. But this would no longer be chaos or chance, would it? How can anyone imagine this state? This is very tricky to understand in the context of our everyday lives structured by a concrete sense of "being." That you and I "are" when the reality is (IMO of course ) like that of lightening, dream, or an imagined dot on a straight line. It is like a probability, a "what if" that is entertained and from it arises everything else that is observed. This imagined existence creates, divides, suffers, destroys, unifies, purifies, on and on in cycles.... . Wow, went off track there. As for the girl, let that compassion lead you into a further investigation. Whenever you feel lazy cultivating, keep that suffering in mind. All this shouldn't be taken as simple entertainments for the intellect. It is urgent and personal!! As with this quote, You just made a claim: "There is no truly existing external reality, nor is there a truly existing internal reality" How can you claim that claim to be true if there is no external reality? The problem here is with trying to structure a state of understanding that is beyond claim. For the point of relativity to be in asserted, a ground must be taken. And that itself goes against the very idea of relativity in the first place. I say chicken and you say egg. If it was that easily intellectualized, all the philosophers would probably be Buddhas or Immortals by now.
  10. Golden Dragon - Kunlun or other arts?

Everyone here speaks their own perspectives in order to learn and discuss (or maybe not). If else, why post? It is the best way to let people decide their own minds as to what is the most wholesome approach. Insults are good in their own right, IMO it brings more to the table. . I really do hope you continue to post here and contribute on things not only relating to Kunlun. Well, unless you really believe that the Taobums will endanger your safety because of the reptilians.
  11. Golden Dragon - Kunlun or other arts?

People advise here not only from the Kunlun perspective. I am certain that people who've taken on the practice can learn from your experiences, yet you should heed advice from others who have gone into their own depths and have had their own insights. Simply denying them as fear mongering is absolutely short sighted. Kunlun likely carries people according to where they are and how far they want to go, just as with ANY other practice. Narrowly judging from your own experiences and subjecting others into that situation is foolish indeed. Furthermore, statements such as "I understand that it is being here and conscious in the moment and doing what brings you joy that is the most important thing you can do with your life" really do prove that seeing 11 dimensions, being emerged in bliss, seeing reptilians, and all this has absolutely nothing to do with spiritual progress. IMHO, seeing reptiles is as interesting as going into the field of herpetology (), and dousing on bliss is as productive as taking a happy pill. You on the other hand, don't seem to think so since right off the bat you started listing these things.... But anyways, thank you for sharing. Information is always good.
  12. Maoshan Exchange

Recently there's been tension here with all the talk of reptilians and ghosts taking over the world and teachers targeting students for not so virtuous purposes... And you came here with 666, dark magic, young beautiful wives... Just not a good timing. . Anyways, since all the rave here the past year has surrounded Kunlun, perhaps you can add it to your collection. Regarding Dr. Johnson, I believe he does have an extensive range of information on magic and such, but I guess knowledge doesn't always translate into understanding. His material is costly (and probably one of the only few legitimate English presentations on the subject) and I was hoping that someone with experience could comment on it.
  13. Golden Dragon - Kunlun or other arts?

There is nothing wrong with being cautious. I don't know if you've ever sifted through Trunk's work an alchemical Taoism, but I'd be hesitant to call the man irresponsible. And you just started a thread saying how you believe reptilians are attached to a public internet forum. . Your last few posts really do show the progress you have made on the Path . Perhaps you've become attached to your own achievements in shifting through these experiences. Chop wood. Carry water.
  14. Maoshan Exchange

Well you mentioned how you believe your master is one of the only few people who actually teach magic, And yes, Dr. Johnson claims to be and has pretty expensive books out on the subject. You claimed to have studied under someone who had a wide range of knowledge with these things that is no longer available in the modern world. Just wanted your opinion on the many other so called Daoist magic practices out there. Check out the website. BTW, I originally posted inquiring about who your master was, but it seemed like you wanted it to remain anonymous. As you say, dark magic involving entities is heavy material and can easily lead the practitioner to pitfalls unless he/she has a strong foundation or a teacher to guide him. And there is no guarantee that there may be other motifs behind such willingness to reveal your master's teachings "for trade." .
  15. Reptilians connected to this forum!

What the..... Whatever, give 'em lots of love and welcome them to the Taobums...maybe we can have reptilian Taoists/Buddhists who will begin to spread the wisdom amongst them. .
  16. The Chicken or the Egg?

I'll have eggs sunny side up with that! I think the trouble here is semantics. Brahman can easily be misinterpreted as an "outside" agent. This becomes tricky when one begins to identify with that "outside" agent as him/her Self. To declare a "void" or a non-existent background as something to merge into is where Buddhists see a problem. When ALL is of the mind, Brahman too is an illusion. Its approach in the end is very much affirmative. Buddhism has no such agents. Its approach is negation as a sort of affirmation. Hence it even denies noting "emptiness" as a term to bound oneself to. 2cents...

666, Are you familiar with Jerry Alan Johnson (Zheng Yi temple) by any chance and the stuff he teaches? His site is daoistmagic.com
  18. Golden Dragon - Kunlun or other arts?

Everything comes from the mind. Even reality itself. Deities are just as real as the table in front of you, which is to say not very real at all. Alchemy is not only a physical practice. The physical plane is dependent on the mind, energies, intent and so forth. You're holding the physical reality to be THE reality, and it isn't. People do develop abilities, but I believe they are reluctant to share them because of all the negativity they will engender from the skeptics (this is one of the reasons I respect Max). Those of the theosophy movement who used imitative methods did exactly that: Imitation. The mythology is there for a reason. Idiots make it into self serving politics because they too are skeptics.

We, we, we... What are you? Trust yourself? Who are you? What are you trusting? Mindfulness, trusting your own compassion.... I don't think you need to do Kunlun to understand these concepts. I hope you genuinely start questioning into your own nature. No matter what experiences you go through, even if it means that you become an immortal or a god... Without rooting out the false identity of the ego and anything called a self nature, you will forever be limited to your afflictions and discriminations. I wish you the best.
  21. Golden Dragon - Kunlun or other arts?

Oh yes, people can't handle the truth except for me! I'm not afraid! This is the Tao!! (Please go re read the 1st chapter of the Tao Te Ching). Oh, please don't be scared..."we" are the royalty!!
  22. The Chicken or the Egg?

From Robinet's interpretation of Mao-Shan scriptures... Ching = canons, scriptures, warp in weaving, road, path, law. "At the end of an era when heaven and earth disappear, the most important ching return to the superior heavens and escape total destruction. When a new era begins, they will then appear...Present within the vast prelude to the coming into being of the world, ching are at the center of all teaching and at the foundation of life. They manifest the Tao. "It is by leaning upon the Tao that the ching have been constituted; it is by leaning upon the ching that the Tao manifests itself." The Tao is substance and the ching are function.
  23. Drugs! Turn on, tune in, drop out...

Mikaelz, I have a feeling that many Westerners who start spiritual practices come from a background of some sort of drug use. I guess in that sense it has benefits. I for one learned a lot from ecstasy use...and it wasn't a pleasant learning experience...

BAH!!! I do like to pretend!!

Thank you for sharing this. Thank you, thank you. I really think you should post this on the Kunlun forum too...but I have an inclination that you might not want to... IMHO, anyone doing any sort of spiritual or energy work should really heed this post.
