  1. Qi Distribution in the Body

HI all thanks for all the advice, I have taken note of all things. Perhpas heaviness is the wrong term, it's really the best I can come up with - it's difficult to assign a word to the qualities of qi, but more or less during particularly deep rituals it literally feels like the energy is split into two halves, however when the energy is clearly recognized is when I am able to circulate. Besides that, I am very good physical condition, not overweight, am able to do very difficult strnegth, resistance, endurance excercise, and I laugh often, even at myself - but oddly enough I probably drink too much coffee and smoke 5-7 cigs a day, ironic I know - however i do not drink alcohol. Sounds like I should keep working on the circulations and make sure I sleep on my right side, if the right side is lunar and left solar, it makes sense that the energy is more prounonced on the left.
  2. Alchemy for the Rest of Us

Interesting, I can't say I have ever delved into a true hindu chakra working. I admitedly toss the word around, for better or worse, it's kind of become a generic term that everyone understands.
  3. Alchemy for the Rest of Us

Hey, the darkness has to eat like the rest of us.
  4. Alchemy for the Rest of Us

Yes. That's what I was attempting to convey, sorry about that.
  5. All joking aside this is the equivalent of spiritual rape and blackmail, these kids will never be able to let go of this fear imprint. Sad.
  6. Qi Distribution in the Body

hi Rocky, can I trouble you for some more detail, feel free to PM if you want, thanks.
  7. Qi Distribution in the Body

    Thank you!
  8. Alchemy for the Rest of Us

i like this fr! if the end result of the placebo is the same as the meidcine what good is the medicine. haha
  9. Alchemy for the Rest of Us

Oh ok, cool man, thank you for sharing! edit: it seems that you get a more direct effect this way as supposed to ritual or invocation. Do you think it could be placebo?
  10. Alchemy for the Rest of Us

I readily admit I do not have laboratory alchemical experience, perhaps a better rephrasing of the thread would be 'alchemical theory applied to spiritual work' - with that being said, UFA seems to be the most knowledgeable person here, but he hasnt proved anything to me either, all of his writing while intellectual as heck could be all conjecture, he could be hallucinating in the laboratory, etc, - just as well I could be hallucinating during my work (*insert my occult experiential claims here*) - but in alchemy I found the most accurate model for my experiential knowledge. Thanks! Edit_ its not a big deal, I will go ahead and relate an example: When I was first able to separate my consciousness from my body I encountered a black man expaining something to me about burning spheres, or burning a sphere, or how to burn the spheres - then how there are three things which are One operating in different modes, it was a woman who illustrated the point, she appeared three times in different locations rapidly. I then went outside my backyard, it was real as taking my kids to mcdonalds for breakfast, not a dream, fully awake - then where the moon was supposed to be was Saturn, it began to eclipse rapidly, I ran to get my camera but reemebered i was not solid, then a snap, and what seemed like one thousand crows began to caw violently... at the time I was doing simple meditations based of the Sefer Yetzirah and the work of Abraham Abulafia. Then about two years later I started reading about the symbolism of calcination and was taken aback by the similarities inherent in that first separation. At the time I did not even know about the principles of Salt, Sulfur, Mercury let alone the significance of Saturn or the Crows! Completely objective.
  11. Alchemy for the Rest of Us

Can you prove that? if not, what is the difference between what you just wrote and genetic modification?
  12. Alchemy for the Rest of Us

That is what I am saying, you could take spiritual principles laid forth in the the Hermetica and apply them in the lab, not vice versa. Were the guys that hid the Nag Hammadi scrolls outfitted with medieval alchemical labratory equipment? I dont think so.
  13. Alchemy for the Rest of Us

    1. If you are referring to me as the OP, I wouldn't be so quick to make assumptions. I am not the most intellectual guy on the block, I am not a storehouse of book knowledge, nor am I the best writer and I am not intentionally misleading anyone - I could easily have written, look an exact double of myself, but made of light, appears during circulation rites in my room, but what would be the point of that, why believe some random dude on the interwebs. 2. I am in no way saying lab alchemy, or using the process with actual substances is what alchemy isn't - it was actually the reverse. Semantic wars are inevitable on the interwebs. 3. I am a generally friendly person, it saddens me that folks approach every conversation on forums as a war to be fought, i dont take myself that seriously Thanks.
  14. Alchemy for the Rest of Us

I actually think this thread is going rather well, and there does not seem to be any bad blood spilling over.
  15. Alchemy for the Rest of Us

This thread actually has me wondering if it is medieval lab based alchemy that is a corruption of what is described in texts such as Pymander, Emerald Tablet, Book of the Dead, etc., not the other way around. Either way, thank you all, I have learned much.
  16. Alchemy for the Rest of Us

Whats Dan-tien, a Chinese thing? I'm just familiarizing myself with oriental theory. edit* google is my friend. t
  17. Alchemy for the Rest of Us

I must say I've reached the same conclusion via this thread - in a day and age where synthesized dmt, lsd, and meth are available for purchase on the internet, things I believe would blow the minds of the likes Paracelsus and his people, there does not seem to be much 'magic' fairy dust, spagryic and elixirs can offer that isnt already out there in a more powerful and dangerous form...another thing I seem to get is that what makes real alchemy so real is that it dangerous, almost a sort of bravado attached to it that seems rather silly, but likewise making butane hash oil is dangerous, likewise plenty of trailer trash have blown themselves up cooking meth.
  18. Illumination

I believe the goals & methods would vary from individual to individual?
  19. Alchemy for the Rest of Us

I've pretty much left the MP (dont need it anymore ) but yes I believe that is how it was described, never tried an actual chakra circulation.
  20. Alchemy for the Rest of Us

Left hemisphere relates to right side of the body and vice versa, there is a lot more flexibility in qabalah in theory, but at the same time when i first started doing the middle pillar a couple of years back, i noticed that the Hindu attributions and extended nadi points mapping were clearly being stimulated with no effort or knowledge of either on my behalf. Also another example, doing a Netzach (Venusian) rite during the appropriate hours, I did not feel any sensations in the body where they were supposed to occur according to the Hermetic attributions, rather my adams apple felt as if it was going to explode...so there seems to be a definite objective reality that defies the wishes and theories of the practioner.
  21. Alchemy for the Rest of Us

    Oh look he smiles. hahaha
  22. Alchemy for the Rest of Us

    Thanks UFA.
  23. It already seems like your over thinking things. Compartmentlize and practice.
