  1. Fear

Fear is a guide. It can show us where treasures lay waiting for us to find them. Peace

  3. Syria

You could take a look at the current state of the worlds economy and the political moves the US has made in the last 15 years. All the sources we need our all around us. Theories are great! Can you see the effects, the threads, of it in the world? If so, then there may be something there. If not, then it still may be correct, just subtle. Or its not so correct. The vids I posted go into this stuff in a WAY more accurate and intelligent manner then I could, atm.. Heres another one to help tie the pieces! Of course, this is just one possibility that seems likely to me. I can watch these videos and see the connections between what they are saying and what is happening. Tis interesting to read/ listen to someone talk about the why's and how's and then, months later, see those moves they thought might happen, happen. Peace.

  5. The Ming Men Thread

Occasionally, my kidney area/ lower back will hurt quite a bit. Its a hot, pulsing pain. When I go into this "sensation" and release it, it shrinks into the MingMen. It seems that the MingMen, when there may be a blockage, it can spread outward and inward. After releasing into the MingMen, the pain in the kidney/lower back subsides. Peace
  6. More Pie Guy's Tips On Saving Money

haha! Yes. I have been bad. Not staying on topic. People keep posting interesting stuff! I must reply! I must learn! We must converse!!!
  7. Chronic fatigue from doing qigong

Yes, BKF has a good explanation of it. My teacher explains it differently. Mostly the same. He most likely did go past it for awhile. I dont know what his 70 percent was, though. Although, as you train and become stronger, your 70 percent limit moves. hehe, like a musical string..not too tight, not too loose....Wonderful analogy.
  8. That is an excellent point! Focus on what we want, not the money. I have had similar experiences. Focusing on money rarely works as well as the thing itself. Sometimes, though, when I am thinking about income, I do pick a number. And then focus on that number. There is a balancing act. Between the individual things and how much income you feel is what you want. BaguaKicksAss, is there a specific method you use to help move things along, manifestation wise? Peace.
  9. Good for you, SkyDog! Good luck with the projects! That will be fun. Mentality/ vibrations, etc...They do work. This I have experienced. Action is a part that people miss. Often times, they miss the actual changing of what they put out the most. I see plenty of people talk about how the LOA does not work..yet they have deep rooted emotions/ programs that are opposing what they want and have not let go of them.... Lots of people want the quick fix without taking the time to completely change how they inter-act with life. On the subject of TaoMeows post. I think she was making a statement about human civilization in general. Not anyone specifically. There does happen to be plenty of things going on now to feel angry about. Plenty and then some! Peace!
  10. Chronic fatigue from doing qigong

That is 100 percent! haha. Whoa, intense. When I say 70 percent, I mean, staying relaxed/ comfortable so your nervous system and energy systems stay "open" and relaxed. I experience far better "gains" when I do that. Sure, I could go far more! I did that when I first started. The down side was pricey, though. Its a different way then some. Full effort without strain. Willing-ness, not willful-ness. Im glad you get allot of benefit from your practice! That is wonderful! Peace
  11. Chronic fatigue from doing qigong

Wild Goose is amazing. For me, atleast. It may not work so well for everyone. I would definitely stay way from learning it from dvds or books. Far too many subtleties that can change how things move/ work. Find a good teacher if you are interested. It could be worth it for you. Was for me. Peace Edit- I forgot! Drinking a gallon of water, may, for some people "drown" their body. For some its good, for others its bad. As always, listen to your self! Your body is EXTREMELY intelligent!
  12. That is a great idea! Working within the arena you love! Finding the love, the passion and doing that...may help you need far less money. Create a new construct!! I like this idea. Peace
  13. Everyone do QiGong and Internal Martial Arts!!!! Save the world thru Bagua! TaiJi bringing Harmony!
  14. Chronic fatigue from doing qigong

For me, there is a BIG difference between "external" activities and "internal". As you say, I can go for a walk and such, feel fine. Do QiGong? Overloads me fast! haha. Staying within the comfort range helps your system adjust and heal over time. The key words, Over and Time. This is Gong. Skill Over Time. We often want it now, now now! Yet, these things build and cultivate over years and years! So, RELAX! hehe. Just take your time. Listen to where your system is now. What is your current state and capabilites? Sounds like you keep going over them. So relax. Go slower. Do less. See how you feel, then. Maybe your system cannot handle a daily practice, yet. Maybe you are doing WAY too much per day. As Cat says, its not doing what you think it should do. Your system may have "problems" within it that the QiGong is healing. Yet, your system can only take so much before going beyond relaxation into stress. Does not like that, often. Getting help from a clinical perspective has saved my bacon! Luckily for me, my teacher does clinical work. You may want to find a good healer. Whatever modality speaks to you. There is no set time limit for how long a phase should or will last. Thats important to understand. You are a unique individual. As such, your condition and progress will be, in many ways, uniquely yours. Sometimes we have to go backwards to go forwards. We are not really going backwards, it just may seem like that. Peace
  15. Chronic fatigue from doing qigong

Very true! It has taken me over a year to reach a somewhat consistent hour a day training! An hour is tough! hehe. Especially if I am "in" it. The rule is always comfort, though. Willing-ness, not willful-ness. 70 percent rule. maximum effort without strain. In a relaxed manner. It must feel good. There was a period when I was learning where I would practice for an hour or two a day. That burned me out fast! i crashed hard. My "ego" nature wanted to do allot! More, more! harder, faster! My system was not ready for that, though. Being gentle helps a huge amount. I have made far more..harmonious progress by being gentle and staying within the 70 percent. Making sure I feel good. Otherwise, I end up expending more then I am gaining. No good. Slow, steady progress with bunches of cyclical bouncing about! Peace
  16. Chronic fatigue from doing qigong

My knowledge and opinion is based on my own experience. Which is limited since I am but a baby. OK! Here is what I have for you, Chocolate! 1. Possibly the system you are practicing is not best for your body. I did a form of 8 Brocades and it did nothing for me. I started learning Wild Goose and right away I felt changes and improved way before I even learned the whole first form! So, the system/ style may not be right for you. Also, it is possible to practice in an incorrect manner and problems can be created there. 2. I have gone thru periods of total exhaustion. where I start to feel "stronger" and then suddenly, Im weak. It feels like im going backwards! I am really not, though. During these periods I may not even feel "strong" enough to practice the whole forms. So, I wait. I rest. Then, afterwards, the changes reach a point where I can start to train again. And I end up having new things happen internally. Such as, my body showing itself to me in new ways. Feeling things I did not before. All good. There was a good 5 month period where I was wiped. I FINALLY got to a solid hour of training a day, with consistent quality. Then a 5 month period of barely being able to do 10 or 20 minutes a day before I felt exhausted. Most of the time, I could not do anything! It sucked! Letting my body do that, though, was vital. Afterwards, I was far "stronger" and my system had changed in subtle yet powerful ways. I would recommend listening inward. Listen to your body. To your self. Thats what I got! Hope this helps! Peace
  17. We dont need unlimited energy or AI to reach a point closer to that. It would require a complete restructuring of the way our species operates. An example. Civilization is eating up the earths resources and destroying the environment because of it. Well, supposedly there are resources in space. So why dont we go mine some of that? To do so in the best manner would require, imho, all nations to come together. Then, money could be thrown away. What is money? its a form of exchange. Ok. so if all nations were united, resources would be shared toward common interests/ goals. How about the people? Good food, shelter, etc... If everyone has the basic survival needs taken care of, then people are more likely to follow their passions. Which could usher in a form of cultural and social evolution. There are still many problems with this idea I have yet to work out. It does show how there are options, though. People would have to change what they value. Star Treks biggest message, I felt, was that when everyone has the basics, civilization flourishes. Of course, another way could be to just raise the amount people are payed from near slave wages to an actual living wage so people dont have to spend all their time and energy working. That would require big businesses and the people who own them to actually let go of their money/ change their value system. Its actually very sad that there are enough billionaires in america, that if each one gave 1 billion dollars, they could positively change the world. Heck, could feed the world for a year with less then a billion. Which shows how the allocation of value and goods has become so...twisted. I think im ranting. Oh no! Peace.
  18. Thank you for responding with such a detailed post! I agree, there is a pattern of people saying its easy to get "rich". I know it takes loads of effort. I have little interest in rich, though. Just comfortable. That is FAR less difficult to reach. Its funny, I do allot of the things you suggested. Cut back on most expenses. They are rarely needed. So many wasteful uses of monies, for my values. Congratulations for your Grandfather! sounds like he listened and took action! Hmm...I hope that some good was able to come from the spending of all the money. Much can be learned. Investments are tricky, especially now A days. I prefer to create methods of income based on adding value to the lives of customers. Do I have one yet? Nope. Life is a tricky business. Some people get "lucky" and are able to slide on thru. Some pour huge amounts of effort and it pays off. Others pour huge amounts of effort and it does not pay off.... Some would say its Karma. I dont know. I will stick to the topic of saving money/ ways to get things done cheaper. If I come up with something, I will add it! Good luck! Peace
  19. That is a good point. Interesting thoughts and questions spring from it. I happen to think that advice is just advice. People can take it or leave it. Just because one person has not yet done something, does not mean the advice is bad, though. Why is it bad to share ideas even if you have yet to succeed in implementing them? Does that somehow, suddenly, make the idea invalid? Peace.
  20. Taoist Sexual Meditation

I recently got the book. (taoist sexual meditation) It is quite impressive. Im taking it slow and absorbing the information. Already, though, I am learning some interesting things. I feel like his explanation of the Outer Dissolving practice is BETTER in this book, then in Opening the Energy Gates!! I always felt like Opening was too...vague. The way it described it did not work for me so well. He gives quite a few more explanations in this one, combined with Energy Gates, should help anybody "get" it. I had not thought of using Dissolving during sex....such a neat idea! I would reccomend the book, so far. Peace!
  21. One way you could go about it is to create Value. Create and Distribute Value and people will exchange what they feel is equal to that Value you Created. Sometimes lowering the price increases Demand. Sometimes increasing the price does. Whats the difference? From what I have seen, its Value. If people feel the Value is worth the Price, they Demand it. hehe. Some thoughts. Peace
  22. Are We All From Mars ?

Nope. Although, I have heard the movie is pretty accurate. Im talking about Mars before it was ruined. When it was filled with life. Pre-war. Long, long time ago.
  23. Are We All From Mars ?

Hehe, depends on if we are talking pre-war Mars or the current, post-war Mars. BIG difference.
  24. Sneeze theory: We breathe Light

I have heard of a stage of breath cultivation where you stop breathing air and just breathe Qi/ Prana. That could be the same thing. We are made of mostly water, physically. Water is a conductor. We are "energy" beings in sacks of water. Makes sense that water would be the best case for us! haha. So, maybe its the same for food and air? On one level, to sustain the water case/ sack, we need nutrients and air. On a deeper/ subtler level we need Qi/ Prana/ Light. COOL! I like this idea, I will ponder it more. Thank you for sharing, NAJA! Peace
  25. Are We All From Mars ?

I did not know that! Very interesting. I read a declassified Gov. file about transmissions from space that referenced the Martian Race as being 6 1/2 to 7 1/2 feet tall. Was quite interesting. Peace
