  1. Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche

JLA is not a complete stranger.Aside from having the authorization to teach He is a very well known scholar in buddhist and bon circles and he receives lots of letters from all kinds of people. And yes people should write to him if they want to find out more about these issues. The fact that soemthing is not known to you it doesn't mean that these issues are not known in other circles.
  2. Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche

Ask people like JLA or others who are close to LTN and you will understand a bit more about the style of dzogchen TWR teaches...
  3. Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche

I've heard that LTN is not very agreeable to the way TWR presents dzogchen, the idea being that he is distilling down dzogchen by conveying the meaning of central concepts in a not so accurate way or in a more watered down style...
  4. Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche

Doesnt he teaches "lite bon dzogchen" ?
  5. "Nondual" In Buddhadharma

But ultimately there is no rebirth and karma.
  7. Debunking a Creator

    Isn't your prophet's advice to kill the non-believer ?
  8. Debunking a Creator

No ..it's easy. For example i am an author of such a terma. I have to termas .One is called "IAMBOREDTODEATH" and the other is called "YOUTALKSHIT".
  9. Ego - How To Hunt It.

Your EGO is sublime and timeless. Worship it and make offerings to it. There is nothing else appart from the state of your EGO who is pure and clear in the same time . Now you can rest....
  10. Debunking a Creator

This universe with all its worlds and beings is eternal since it is primordial state itself. Since this universe and the multitudes of phenomena never enter existence they therefore are unborn and in a state of perpetual timeless purity. There is no coming and going , no karma and rebirth since this state is all there was, is and will be, the timeless primordial state. God has no place in this.

  12. Anadi - Buddhism has flaws.

Yeah...this is definitely a dump He doesn't have a clue about dzogchen.

  14. Resting the mind in its natural state

When one discovers their own rigpa there are no distinctions to be made. Is not like you discover rigpa and then there is something left outside of it or something more to discover , something more deeper, open, pervading... But one should be aware that recognizing their rigpa doesnt mean realizing rigpa. You only realize rigpa when the infinite attributes of that state of knowledge have been actualized In practice there is only one rigpa to be discovered . And that is all one should know. As far as my practice and understanding is concerned Allan Wallace is unnecessary.
  15. Resting the mind in its natural state

You are conflating discovering rigpa with realizing rigpa or bringing it to its full fruition. They are two different things. Discovery of rigpa can be done without shamata. There are many other methods which can be employed(much more swifter and efficient)to discover it if you failed to discover it during transmision. And my message is that people should go back to original dzogchen as taught by the supreme Garab Dorje. And as regards progressing in treckchod (which most aspiring dzogchenpas should focus on and which sould be the most important part of their life for the years ahead ) it is not necessary to rest undistracted in rigpa , it is good enough if one rests in the continuous energy and vibrancy of that presence. As to the distinctions between these two things and how you can realistically rest and what you have to do , you need to talk to your teacher and obtain instructions..
  16. Resting the mind in its natural state

If you haven't recognized or discovered that which is always there, inescapable presence , pervading all your activities , your meditation no matter how wonderful or rested it may be is still conceptual.

There isn't oneness , we are not one and all the paths dont lead to the same place. This is the view of hippies or new age-ists. You should understand that every path has its own view and the result of that path is based entirely on that view.No view no result. This is the first thing anybody should understand before making claims about how all paths lead to the same place.

  19. Dear Stefos, I have read on the internet that the most famous person for loving everybody indiscriminately is Geezus and in response to your invitation that i should love you i suggested that you stick with this person who seem to know a lot of things about love which i don't. The indians at my local corner shop are selling pictures with this person where he is beautifully depicted with long blond hair , angelic blue eyes and a visible heart pierced by a loving arrow which can only mean that he can impress upon everybody regrdless of their race or business inclination. Since you are in the business of bashing all the buddhists who are not pali buddhists i think this person can love you too.

i am afraid those lamas are teaching according to a late invention combined with lots of cultural biases. Originally dzogchen was taught differently and that is how i myself follow dzogchen. Pure a la Garab Dorje and as CNNR -one of the greatest masters alive- teaches it , You don't get enlightened by receiving pointing out instructions but being introduced is exttremely important according to dzogchen and is the first thing you have to have before entering the path.

you're missing the point. resting like you suggest and in what you suggest is not rigpa.

The introduction is not there to dispel doubts since that presupposes that one has engaged in discovery and recognition prior transmission which would mean that they were misguided and have misunderstood the fact that you can only discover your nature either through direct introduction or after with the help of various methods. If after introduction there are doubts as to whether the nature was discovered or not one can start practising the various methods of rushan, longde ...etc...to dispel those doubts and have a close dialogue with one's teacher. The pointing out is not secondary .Tell that to Garab Dorje. Is of paramount importance and is the first thing one needs to do when deciding to follow the path of dzogchen.

Well, your opinion doesn't count. What counts is what the tradition of dzogchen says. And as a counterargument, yes , for many outside of dzogchen or from other religions the state can manifest spontaneously but they wouldn't recognize it and they would discount it as nothing special since they lack the proper instruction and explanation of how this nature is the base of all, being primordial purity and beyond everything but in the same time the source of everything. And lets not forget the interaction with a teacher one needs to have in order to ascertain whether that nature is the real one or is just a conceptual position. The interaction with a teacher is a process of refining one's perception through discarding all layers of conceptuality which might otherwise fool one into believing that what they've discovered is the true nature. I cannot see how practitioners from other religions or religious sistems can refine their perceptions and experience without the help of soemone who knows directly what this primordial nature is .Since the teaching and the teachers who can teach such things are missing in other religions there is no chance that someone can discover and realize their nature.

You are mistaken. Your natural state needs to be pointed out to you. The only thing you will ever manage on your own is to wander endlessly through the thicket of your conceptual elaborations always asking yourself "Is it this? Is it that? Or maybe is this?...." and so on never being able to come to the place of rest where the nature is recognized in all its glory beyond any doubt.

Dzogchen is secret. There is no way around that. CNNR always says not to discuss dzogchen with those who do not have transmission. People who dont have transmission can discuss as much as they like. There won't be anything happening beyond an intellectual grasp.
