  1. Samples of FU

yes, and only informally without transmission, without perfect pronunciation, yet this spell was so beautiful, I was so inspired to try in hopes anyway with as much devotion and sincerity as possible. I just did 108X golden spell, and then I drew the symbol with sword finger sign on my pillows. I feel very light and tingling, goosebumps all over.
  2. I practice KunLun

So from this what is it that we are to understand? That you have not been practicing Red Phoneix, or Golden Flower? and you have been practicing alchemy? What do you mean precisely? Are you practicing Kunlun 1,2 and 3 only? Or do you feel your practices have taken you to a stage where you no longer have need of them? So you have experienced seeing a man pour milk into his mouth, pouring God into God. How do you feel Kunlun has brought you to this point? What is it that woke up inside of you to see God into God? What does it mean to you and why is it important to you? Can you function in the world with this perception effectively, or is it challenging? How are your personal relationships, your family karma transformed?
  3. Samples of FU

Maybe not, or maybe Im simply suggestible, but when I just drew the symbol with palm, I feel a huge flow of warmth all over my chest abdomen, back of heart and navel, and in my throat and ba hui too. Since I drew it in the air, the effect is actually still continuing. This could really work with attunement, like Mak has said, it's like trying to cook something while having your unit on low, without the preliminaries to turn up the flames, we are getting half baked results.
  4. Thread about Nothing

Perhaps, I am not claiming to be an expert on this. It just seems that there is a certain progression in the Buddhist path in that you must do prerequisites before doing advanced stuff. You normally don't take an advanced genetics class without doing biology 101, because you might not understand very well and get quite confused, unless you are a genius and have all the knowledge by default then by all means. The dharmakaya posture of the lion sitting sounds like a squatting seated spontaneous qi gong practice and interesting it is to release the wind of disturbing thoughts...however, the paragraph does not mention anything about spontaneous movements.
  5. Thread about Nothing

Cool about the entopic effects now, Ive been wanting to know what was actually happening physiologically with the gold bright dots of light for years, I have seen them, often at the point of fainting "seeing stars" now I know the reason behind it, white blood cells moving around in capillaries of the eye. I can see this often at will without looking at the sky. I knew it was nothing special or clairvoyant but its nice to have an explanation, so thanks for posting that. And yes its true, without taking refuge, ngondro, preliminary empowerments, and having received transmisson from your lama for the thogyal, it's not likely you will get any result from this, unless you are some kind of tulku, but even then it's not very likely. TV.... lol, that's basically what would happen, you would see your own tv of your thoughts and subconscious playing around with you, and you probably wouldn't know how to keep cutting through and would just get wrapped up in the images and stories...like watching tv.

  7. The 5 Commandments in Taoism

ok I think I get it tip #1: Make a checklist, making a mental checklist? It seems better to make a journal.
  8. The 5 Commandments in Taoism

Interesting these Ethical Injuctions are equivalent to the moral restraints (yama) of ashtanga yoga, the first step of yoga as described by Patanjali in his famous yoga sutras. Other schools of yoga include 5 others. The corresponding list is 1.Ahimsa -non-violence or non-harm which is broader in application than no killing 2.Asteya - non-stealing - same. 3. Brahmacharya - sometimes transilated as sexual continence or abstinence, though sometimes translated as sexual moderation/righteousness. if it is followed strictly as no sexual activity it is more restrictive than no sexual misconduct, unless no sexual misconduct implies no sex period. 4.Satya - truth - is interpreted as no lying whatsoever, and always speaking the truth and is relatively equivalent to no false speech or attitudes, no fakeness- doing what you say and following through 5. Aparigraha - means non-covetousness, non-possessiveness, non-attachment to things, non-greed, which would somewhat correspond to non-jealousy and in fact it is sometimes interpreted as such. Yogic injunction also includes the 5 niyama or the moral prescriptions 1.Santosha - Contentment - being contented with whatever one has 2.Svadhyaya -self-study - studying ones own mind - studying the scriptures to improve the quality of ones character. 3. Saucha - purity - being pure in thought word and deed. 4. Tapas - ascetism - practicing extreme self-discipline that often involves discomfort ie. practicing under harsh conditions of hot or cold. 5. Ishvarapranidhana - complete surrender to the divine, giving up ones egoic attachments to self-agrandisement in service of a greater purpose that transcends the self, offering of practice to benefit all beings. I wonder if these niyama exist in Taoism too. some scriptures of yoga, ie. the hatha yoga pradipika have 5 additional yama, moral restraints: 1. Kshama - patience with ones development and that of others 2. Dhriti - steadfastness to the task, eliminating obstacles of fear, doubt, frustration, finishing what is started. 3. Daya - compassion, generosity - being big hearted, eliminating ones own cruelty and insensitivity towards other beings. 4. Arjava - being direct and honest eliminating wrong-doing to oneself and others. 5. Mitihara - moderation of appetite - eating the perfect amount for the body, neither more nor less, avoiding eggs, fish, seafood, and meat. Sometimes these rules can be broken unconsciously. Thanks very much for posting these ethics, if we truely want to progress, these are helpful tools to purify ourselves. I would appreciate more advice from you Mak Tin Si on how to implement them. What tips do you have?

  10. Cobra Breath

I can find out more from the tantrikas, they actually had me doing it with them
  11. Cobra Breath

Hmmm I met some new age people who had learned the cobra breathing technique, the guy who makes the takyon capsule swears by it, it looks very strange, kind of like wiggling and doing the taoist lung sound, and apparently they visualise blue going up their spine on the inhale into their pituitary gland, and then orange on the exhale going down or something like that, and then they also have dual-cultivation with this...supposed to be ecstatic and then there are 7 levels. If you thought Govindan was BS, I say run!

  13. Spontaneous qigong

Good point. The Bushman clearly show spontaneous practice doesn't have to look like tai chi and its not about form, its about opening to a transcendental higher consciousness that connects you with yourself, all hearts and all beings and all planes. So don't judge your practice, whatever it looks like is not important, it's what is happening on the inside that is important.
  14. Qinggong changchun dan

Thanks YM, I was wondering why it said the forumla was patented, how did you find this? Fluency in Chinese is clearly an asset.

  16. Qinggong changchun dan

Perhaps unless you have the characters for the word you might not have much luck. It is in a pill form, perhaps you could get it in china town, but for whatever reason the ingredients are not disclosed and I found a few webpages saying formula is patented, but perhaps they meant something else, wouldnt surprise me too much though. I ate some forbidden rice this morning, yummy, good with black beans, lots of anthocyanins, but for a second I thought you were asking about cannibal rice.
  17. Qinggong changchun dan

Yes, the patenting of ancient compounds has been going on for years.
  18. Spontaneous qigong

One meaning of the sanskrit word mudra is "seal."
  19. Qinggong changchun dan

Hmmm..from what it seems this Changchun palace capsule is a patented mixture of various herbs combined in certain ratios, and so the formula is not within the public domain. Heinous? yes.
  20. Heavy Water May Be The Elixir Of Life

So what amount are you drinking and what's it doing for you?
  21. Heavy Water May Be The Elixir Of Life

  24. Chanting names of goddess

Who are you to limit the power of mantra, have you experienced it? Humble yourself.
  25. Chanting names of goddess

Pronounciation certainly is important for the full impact of the mantra, but a mantra prononced perfectly with inflection, intonation, meter, is lifeless without bhava...does it not require the full devotion and understanding of the meaning to have the fullest effect? My Maa told me that even if a mantra is pronouced incoherently with pure devotion, the deity cannot not refuse the devotee....if a hungry child asks it's mother for a fruit, and cannot pronounce its name yet properly, will its mother deny her child the fruit. That is not to say we should not strive for perfect pronouciation, as that is also a form of devotion.
