For me:

 

1. Taoist Discussion - I like the free-for-all aspect to it ... sort of like watching waves roll in and out ... it can be interesting what the tide washes into shore.

 

2. Healing Circle - I like the service and kindness shown by all.

 

3. Lobby - It is good to get to know newcomers a little on their way in. Nice to share tea

I voted all three times for Taoist Discussion. Sorry if that breaks the rules. I like the free-for-all aspect of it as well.

 

...just thought of something. I also like to do searches here, because there's a ton of good old stuff.

I used to like the searches as well. A while ago when I was active on the forum, I could search for a phrase by enclosing it within double quotes. Say "Max conducts a trip to Mars" or something. But now, a specific search within quotes seems to go on forever without returning a result. It does seem to work occassionally though, like just now...I try to use the google advanced search instead by specifying a domain, but that does not seem to return some of the pages.

What I would love and haven't found yet: An automated subscription to topics where you answered.

 

And it would be nice if the huge welcome text would disappear after a user did some posts.

 

And if the edit message of threads would only occur after someone read that post, because I do little corrections all the time.

I'd throw in an extra. A favorite feature is deep searches of the past. Going back a few years and seeing how old topics evolved. I smile at the silly dramas I got caught up in.
