Taoist yoga?

Recommended Posts

Hi, this is my first non intro post on this forum :(

My bagua teachers master from Taiwan is coming over in August to do some seminars and as well as bagua he is doing a daoist yoga one.

This guy is very good, his name is Master He jing Han and the yoga one sounds interesting.

I'm interested in spiritual alchemy but don't know exactly what taoist yoga is.

Could someone give me a 101 explanation please?

Thanks!!!

Ed

Whatever he says it is it is.

I sort of think of anything vaguely chikungy as taoist yoga. It's like the label "Hinduism" it's extremely vague.

Partly I echo Yoda's comment. I don't know, and haven't heard any strict definition (or any definition, actually).

However, the systems that I've heard of either:

1. Go through a bunch of positions while doing lower tan tien breathing, or

2. Stretch in ways that emphasize the fascia.

But it might be something entirely different.

Be interested to hear, if you are inclined to post after you take the class.
