Position of hands in Kunlun 1

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I am practicing K1 as described in the book.

Recently the question came to my mind, whether I should reverse the position of my hands, as I am left handed.

Does anyone know?

Cheers

I'm fairly certain Chris said a while back that it didn't matter too much which hand was on top. I don't have the patience to dig through the thousand and one Kunlun threads and post the link though

But the upshot was that the point is to get the energy going and then let the body do whatever, not clinging to any hand positions. And either way works to get the energy going.

As a spontaneous motion practice, if you feel like switching hand positions, standing on your head, etc. go with it!
