Question for Mak Tin Si

So, if taosim is training to become immortal, what does your lineage teach about people who have died? Is it like in buddhism and we are reincarnated and have another chance, or are we dead and just rot away?

You have got it mistaken by the word here. Let me try to explain it to you..

First, people can train in their life now and when you reach a point where you gained alot of good karma credit, you continous your training AFTER death with a form of "soul or spirit". This form you become a Ghost-Immortal 鬼仙, and then you have to train for a certain period to accumulate enough good karma credit.

Then you cycle and go become human again next life.. You will be able to get a good sifu or master in your early age and start your trianing agian. Then this life, you may be able to train into a higher level and achieve longer and longe life span like around 150-200 years old. Then you will go to the mountains or somewhere out of the society and do your practise.. This you become a Dei -Sin , ground-immortal.地仙

Bak Yat Fei Sing, meaning you will meditate and then all of a sudden automatically our body will have fire coming out and burn yourself. Then you get rid of your body and live with the soul form. Fly to next dimension, some call it heaven, some call it the universal stage. This you will be categorized to be 天仙, sky-immortals. Then you have to train more in that stage and then come back into the world here to teach your students something and then leave again to the other dimension. Then you start there and onto your other stages of immortals and eventually one day you will reach the stage of god.

In our system of Chi in Nature we do not teach you to become immortal because immortals are not taught like a course. You get there when it is your fate. You just continue the practise and you will get there when you have enough practise. It is not something you can WANT or DESIRE for. If you WANT to become an immortal, that is greed, which means you never get there already.

As said, we have to goal or aim in trianing. So we just practise whatever is taught. If we become immortals, great, if we do not, just continue and you will get there anyway one day. No feelings. That is why people who open a lineage are those that learn from masters and also from immortals who are coming back to teach you the right way to go. If not, how can a scolar teach you the right way....??

So, if taosim is training to become immortal, what does your lineage teach about people who have died? Is it like in buddhism and we are reincarnated and have another chance, or are we dead and just rot away?

Re-incarnate as I know means re-cycle in nature. It doesn't really matter if you are training or not or you are a taoist or not. If you are part of nature, you do go through the process of re-cycling and your karma credit is what determine how you re-cycle and where you re-cycle to. The physical body turn to dust but the soul will re-cycle. All the people will have this process no matter you are believing in jesus or taoism or nothing. It is how nature works and that is known by taoist because we study and learn from nature. We also have ways to see the world after death. But of course, that is not easy.

Thank you for your detailed explanation regarding the relationship between Immortals and the people who train. :)

What are your ideas about death for other people, the people who do not train or have any idea or interest in Taoism? Do their souls/spirits continue to re-incarnate, or do they just vanish into dust, or ??
