The master requires rules, because he will be affected if someone goes wrong. He has karma debt

and so will the student. The universe seeks to balance everything. Thats why he has to be careful only to choose those that are worthy. Imagine teaching a student who is a KKK. Reminds me of Dr. Morris book where he was teaching someone from the KKK, but later kicked him out.

 

Books are priceless though.
