Eating less is always good advice. I sometimes don't eat much for a few days and than have a slap up meal. I figure constantly filling the gut with food is akin to cattle grazing! My favourite food is probably meat on it's own especially lamb, god it makes me horny. :D

Today when speaking to a colleage about a Seventh Day Adventist restaurant (which the Loma Linda, CA group is), she reminded me about the Blue Zones research. Interesting that two groups eschew alcohol but one group drinks red wine. I like the no "time urgency" of the Okinawans.

Cool Subject.

My Seventh Day Adventist great grandpa lived to 106, was a life long vegetarian, did a one mile walk, 10 pushups and 10 situps every morning right till the end.

 

He had all his faculties and never really got got sick.
