Must See Video

Recommended Posts

Now I know you've had to edit your post to get that video to work but it was funny when I couldn't 'see' the 'must see' video! Your teachings are profound and mysterious. :D

This isn't the only one. In China therear emany patriarchs whose bodies remain for over several hundred years in siting position. During the cultural revolution, many of the temples holding those bodies were destroyed and some of the bodies were destroyed too..but there are many many cultivators who when leaving their body, keep the body in a particular position.

Many go standing up, sitting in meditation, walking, lying, hanging from tree branches. This is no mystery in the Buddhist school. This is a common thing. It is not a sign of Buddhahood, or sagehood, or any highly revered label/consciousness. It is an outcome of proper cultivation.

The only way scientists will understand is if they cultivate Buddhism, and apply themselves sincerely. People still think they are their bodies...that's the first deluded thought scientists must drop to actually comprehend anything.

Peace and Blessings,

Lin

Cool video. But either the translation is wrong, or they're a little strange Buddhists to speak about god being incarnated.

I agree... they are off either in translation and or in studies.

It's a little bit of both - they use the word "GOD" and refer to anything that is spiritual or holy so to speak.

Well anyway, even if he was a monk, one could say we are all incarnations of "God"... Could we say thats "wrong"?

No, one could not say that, because that is not Buddhist teaching. And unless wearing Buddhist robes is just the new fashion in Russia, the monks there were Buddhists. So yes, we could say that's wrong. Of course you could say that it depends on your definition of god, but in any case it is a little strange to use that term here in the west considering the history and culture.

Thanks for posting this stuff.

That monk achieved a Ling Shen status (or spirit in no longer need of a shell).

More interesting stuff to complement this thread:

In Asia these stuff has been going around for hundreds of years as well as most mystical stuff and is seen as normal. On the contrary, in the West it is either seen as a miracle or as a hoax. Westerners always so blind to the Yin realm. Everything is Yang, Yang, Yang!! Sex, sex, sex...$ $ $ :) Orientals as well but they understand spiritual issues more and don't make a big issue about it.

Anyway have a good weekend and meditate heaps!!! :)
