Hi to all members from a newbie!

Recommended Posts

Hello

Noobie here from Slovenia. 44 years old. Interested in spirituality in any kind of form and school. Want to learn some stuff and improve. Had really thraumatic experience a year ago when I separated from my long term partner. Lost 2 kids and everything. Lost myself briefly in alcohol and drugs and now want to get back on track. I need some tips what schoold to pursue. I know some Chia, read some Buddhism. Also have Raja Chadboury course on Kundalini awakening but dont want to mess with that stuff cause this can be dangerous. Also read some Glenn Morris etc. Want to get on some good Buddhist or Tao path maybe some Chi Kung etc to get my shit together again. Any tips are welcome. Nice to be here seems like a good place.

Hello, Decorator75, and welcome.

Your membership is approved and we're happy you found your way to us. We look forward to accompanying you on some of the way that you still have to go.

Please take the time to read the post pinned at the top of this Welcome page and take a look at the forum Terms and Rules.   This covers all you need to know when getting started.

For the first week you will be restricted to ten posts per day but after that you can post as much as you like. Also, until you’ve posted fifteen times in the forums, you’ll be a “Junior Bum” with somewhat restricted access and will be allowed only two private messages per day.

Good luck in your pursuits and best wishes to you,

Fa Xin and the TDB team

Welcome Decorator,

Good to hear you are recovering from your troubles. It seems you have come to the right place. I would suggest start by reading the Dao de Jing, and check out some of the discussions here. I’m sure there will be some more folks along soon. Enjoy!

You are welcome to jump right in to the ongoing discussions, revive an older thread, start a new thread of your own, or start a discussion in the "Newcomer Corner" sub-forum to expand on your introduction or ask general questions to help you get started.

May you enjoy your time here.

Fa Xin
