Do Musicians Singers Cultivate the Most Positive Loving Emotions more than other occupations in the world?

Recommended Posts

Hey All, I have been doing a lot of contemplations and reflections on positive loving emotions.

I am wondering if musicians especially singers cultivate the most positive loving emotions as part of their job criteria?

There seem to be no other occupation in the world which really cultivate emotions, especially positive loving emotions, as part of their job scope.

To the best of my knowledge, all singers have to use their heart emotions to sing their songs otherwise they can't perform a good job.

What do you all think?

What about those who sing about tragic subjects?

Don't they cultivate negative emotions?

And actors also practice expressing emotions.

What a crazy theory. There is just as much dark, nihilistic music around. As a reaction to all the fluffy, lovey stuff sometimes.

The idea that we all have to be full of love, caring, empathy etc is a fallacy. Utopia doesn't, and can not ever exist.

Sound transmits the jing energy and the music as rhythm and frequency also contain the emotional energy. So for love - as compassion - this is actually a combination of the Yang Jing (or yin qi) as lung energy along with the heart as yin shen - and so what happens is that too much love sent out via the voice (or as yin qi energy) then creates SADNESS. So this is why "laments" as music are actually based as an exorcism of heart sadness as too much love energy.

So the original human culture did not use words in their healing song music - the females sang ALL NIGHT LONG while the males danced in order to take in the yin qi energy - to combine it with the male yang qi as dancing sublimates the yang qi - and this increases the Yuan Qi energy that is then sent back into the females via the pineal gland.

So singing NEEDS to be combined with male dancing and together they create a true healing environment.

So in our culture - since it is all wrong - then this is reversed. So instead the males sing as "jock rock" based on ejaculation (NOT based on trance dance "staying power" to create yuan qi pineal gland healing energy). And then the females are supposed to follow these male singers - while the females cry and scream because they are sad from too much love.

So in fact we need to honor and embrace female singers -

So for example I made a playlist of Dolores O'Riordan's ONE song - DREAMS. She wrote this song when she was truly in love. So the frequency and rhythm CAPTURES that love emotion of the heart. So it is really trance healing music.

Another good example are the "back track" songs - of a male and female couple. The female singing expresses this love but as sadness as well. So that couple - just look up "Old is Gold" for Indian back track singing - so they recorded the MOST songs ever - like tens of thousands of songs.

OK a third example - the "Lament" is from West Asian singing as trance healing music - and so it is actually the Phrygian Mode of the frequency tuning - which means for the key of E major then it is G minor (if we are using Western tuning).

So I have also made playlists of Phyrgian mode music - and beyond rhythm and frequency is also the TEMPO and so you want a slow tempo as a trance. This is what BLUES music also does - but it's also the "middle" movement of Western classical and baroque. So that 1 beat per second then synchronizes the HEART as the heart beat - and this creates the strong heart shen as right brain dominance. This is the secret of the so-called "mozart effect" (despite scientists claiming otherwise).

So I have playlists of Ravel's 2nd concerto, the 2nd movement in G minor - Phrygian tuning and slow tempo.

Then I have a playlist of Bach's concerto in F major - the 2nd movement in D minor - so Phrygian tuning but also with the slow tempo. I performed BOTH these pieces on piano but I memorized the Bach concerto.

So then I got an EEG and the nurse exclaimed in shock at how strong my alpha brain waves were. And also in high school people thought I was a stoner since I was laughing all the time. This was from the music - memorizing the Bach slow movement activated the heart and qi energy for joy.

In general, there is allot less love in this world at the moment, but that love is also allot more conductive and integrative, thus it compensates in lack of quantity by profound quality and benefit.

But yeah, music is like any art, not necessarily the Source of Joy or Love, which is more an individual case by case thing, that is personal and more unconditional in nature.

If you draw a painting, or make music, you can become one who envisions, or you can become one who justs paints and makes music for what other people are envisioning.

You are sort of receiving the correct emotions from the director, and then you make music, whatever is appropriate for the work required. You may translate fear into music, or excitement. But the more specific you go in feelings and high level quality is required and precision, and the more creative you become in your endeavours thus.

You have to really work hard and have passion in what you do to be satisfied by it, and love the thing you do. To become thus very good at it. It's the love that drives you and inspires you at the same time and rewards you at the same time. But that can also be "Oh I made the most mysterious and captivating and enthralling music ever! Succes!"

actually music IS different.

The Benefits of Playing Music Help Your Brain More Than Any Other Activity

https://www.inc.com/john-rampton/the-benefits-of-playing-music-help-your-brain-more.html

Quote

"Music probably does something unique," explains neuropsychologist Catherine Loveday of the University of Westminster. "It stimulates the brain in a very powerful way because of our emotional connection with it."

So the cerebellum controls both emotion and motion and music training then synchronizes the cerebellum for emotion and motion - and if this training occurs before 7 years old, then the corpus callosum gets significantly enlarged, thereby synchronizing the right and left sides of the brain:

Quote

Most notably, the corpus callosum, a massive bundle of nerve fibers connecting the two sides of the brain, is larger in musicians. Also, the areas involving movement, hearing, and visuospatial abilities appear to be larger in professional keyboard players.

Initially, these studies couldn't determine if these differences were caused by musical training or if anatomical differences predispose some to become musicians. Ultimately, longitudinal studies showed that children who do 14 months of musical training displayed more powerful structural and functional brain changes.

https://www.newscientist.com/article/dn28266-musicians-brains-fire-symmetrically-when-they-listen-to-music/

Quote

Part of the corpus callosum connecting the two brain hemispheres was indeed larger in musicians. The team also found that musicians’ brains seemed to fire more symmetrically when they listened to music – the activity in the left and right hemispheres was a much closer match than that of the non-musicians.

So a musician by training on an instrument is then forced to activate the right side of the brain more.

Quote

It’s one thing to see differences in brain activity when they’re playing their instruments, but they’re just listening,” he says. “The perception of music is changed with musical training.”
The team think the two halves of a musician’s brain may be better at communicating than those of a non-musician.

So it does require serious training:

Quote

Taking music lessons can strengthen connections between the two hemispheres of the brain in children, but only if they practice diligently, according to a study reported here 14 April at the annual meeting of the Cognitive Neuroscience Society. The findings add to a long-running debate about the effects of musical training on the brain.

and yet there is a hard-wiring of the brain

Quote

six children faithfully practiced at least 2.5 hours a week in the time between the scans. In these budding musicians, a region of the corpus callosum that connects movement-planning regions on the two sides of the brain grew about 25% relative to the overall size of the brain. Children who averaged only an hour or two of weekly practice and those who dropped their instruments entirely showed no such growth. All of the children practiced instruments, such as a piano or a violin, that required two hands.

So music is literally the language of emotions - and when people get the "chills" from music this means their dopamine levels were increased. But with nonwestern trance music then the dopamine increase switches to a serotonin increase also (and this is how the Mozart Effect works from the slow middle movements of classical-baroque music). And so the 7 to 9 beats per second is also the trance drumming found worldwide that synchronizes with male trance dancing - as a Earth schumann resonance - for a deep heart vagus nerve love awakening. This is originally from the Eland Bull Dance for the female first menstruation of the pineal gland synchronized with the moon as an electrogravitic transducer. So Gurdjieff called this "objective music."

Western music has the tuning shut off from the infinite time-frequency resonance as trance meditation - unless you get into the serotonin effect from the slow middle movements of classical or blues music - and then with the eyes closed, listening to music as mantra attention with visualization - this goes into the deeper heart awakening.

If they sing uplifting and moving songs, yes definitely.

The love you feel has nothing to do with the music or any conditions of your life. It is only ever about your energetic in the here and now moment alignment of your physical energy being and your greater non-physical soul of energy being, so to speak. When those two energies agree and harmonize, you feel love. It is about your relationship, in the here and now moment, with your own true being.

Sure music can be used as a reason or even excuse to allow oneself to allow oneself to allow ones true self to express and be more fully here and now. But that doesn't mean music does that to you. You just use it as an excuse to do so yourself, in such a case.

But you don't really need that music in order to do so.  In the end music is such small pleasantry, and the most important benefit that it brings is always the distraction from your own habbitual thoughts of resistance. For this distraction, causes one to release these thoughts of resistance, allowing the individual to feel relief, in doing so, and thus find greater clarity in their life, and thus greater potential for focusing ones own energy back into alignment with all that life has caused you to become, so as to come to potentially more fully allow oneself to more fully realise ones truest most highest purpose here in this life and reason for being here, thus then.

But in every single case, the music doesn't do that for you. Any less than a teacher cannot choose to mold the energy of your being. Only oneself can do that for oneself. But you can cocreate energy. Sure. You can choose to join the energy of others if it is one that is pleasing to you. That has nothing to do with them. More about your relationship in the moment with who you truely are, that causes that to feel good to you as you focus upon it.

But just because someone says they are singing about love, does not make it actual love. A good example of this is metal gear solid, love theme. It's a very sad song. Sure you can find love therein, by focusing your own being on the love, and thereby feel love, but that has nothing to do with the music. It is only ever about your relationship with your own greater soul of who you truely are, that causes you to love, ever, incase your being agrees with your own greater true being. Yeah, sure. Then you feel love.

And if you feel sadness, much the same story. It's not about the condition or even music of your life. It's about your disagreement with the greater knowing of your own soul that ever causes you to feel sadness.

On the outside, they appear to be dying from the inside. On the inside, their dying inside, also has an even deeper inside, that is really coming to life. This newly born aliveness inside the dying inside, says they are earning really good money by doing this.

Then inside, this newly born inside inside the inside of inside, there is an ever deeper inside yet. That is dying, inside the newly born inside of earning money, that says, I am becoming a slave to the money.
