Thank you for adding me. My name is Terri. I had scoliosis over 40 years. Got rods and screws in my back now. Terry Dunn's Tai chi helped me alot with the  pain before and after surgery. I love his teachings.

Hello, Terri fenton, and welcome.

Your membership is approved and we're happy you found your way to us. We look forward to accompanying you on some of the way that you still have to go.

Please take the time to read the post pinned at the top of this Welcome page and take a look at the forum Terms and Rules.   This covers all you need to know when getting started.

For the first week you will be restricted to ten posts per day but after that you can post as much as you like. Also, until you’ve posted fifteen times in the forums, you’ll be a “Junior Bum” with somewhat restricted access and will be allowed only two private messages per day.

Good luck in your pursuits and best wishes to you,

Fa Xin and the TDB team

You are welcome to jump right in to the ongoing discussions, revive an older thread, start a new thread of your own, or start a discussion in the "Newcomer Corner" sub-forum to expand on your introduction or ask general questions to help you get started.

May you enjoy your time here.

When you have time it would be interesting to read why you chose taiji as the healing medium  over others or was it more about the teacher.

Welcome to a very interesting place, with many good souls.

We have a Healing section, and while its usually used for people to talk about complaints, it'd be great to see a thread or two on how different modalities have helped heal them.  Particular Tai chi and what specific sequences and how long it took.

Thanks

Terry's forum for his Flying Phoenix discussion is here, as will be in the future his posts on Tai Chi, Tao Tan Pai, and other forms he teaches:

https://www.thedaobums.com/forum/548-zen-bear/

As he is very busy, I am moderating his personal forum on his behalf and relaying crucial messages his way.
