Identity Politics & Tribal Grouping

Recommended Posts

I'm hoping this won't get moved as it's not specifically about politics but rather mass manipulation and how the media and society as a whole are being leveraged. Being rather thick and somewhat distracted by all the Breixit turmoil in the UK I have missed the fact that societal rules seem to becoming more bonkers by the day.

This brief interview with Jordan Peterson, I'm no fan but he makes some fair points, is interesting:

Quote

The term identity politics refers to political positions based on the interests and perspectives of social groups with which people identify. Identity politics includes the ways in which people's politics are shaped by aspects of their identity through loosely[clarification needed] correlated social organizations. Examples include social organizations based on age, religion, social class or caste, culture, Deafhood, dialect, disability, education, ethnicity, language, nationality, sex, gender identity, generation, occupation, profession, race, political party affiliation, sexual orientation, settlement, urban and rural habitation, and veteran status.

The term identity politics has been in use in various forms since the 1960s or 1970s, but has been applied with, at times, radically different meanings by different populations.[1][2]

imo the stress of the current culture creates psychological fragmentation.
A person who should be whole, under pressure psychological splits into several distinct parts each trying desperately to deal with the stress pressure confusion and meaninglessness.
Due to this people become more and more inwardly unclear who they are and they cling to whichever group lends them an identity.

The stress is ramped up by the world government in waiting, because as people become more damaged then more power can be taken from them.
All manner of evil can enter this world with humans in this condition, and humans can be easily convinced to vote for their own execution.
In the end only death is a mercy for such creatures who live and die not knowing who they are, and being preyed upon in a meaningless world and evil world.

In the West, the level of ill health is shocking, whether of the organs, mind, or immune system.   In the last 20 years everyone has become an expert in innumerably conditions.

One counter movement you could make is to become expert in re-integration of fragments, using my now favourite "Inner Family System Therapy".   Fast straightforward and .... a real solution.   You will not find better.
