Hi and introduction

Recommended Posts

My relevant background is playing Tai Chi (Cheng Man Ching) for about 5 years till 2009 but I never really progressed.

In 2013 I discovered Qi Gong and found a local class. This time everything connected and opened up, so I then did teacher training (5 element focus) over 18 months. I did some teaching, but now my focus is on practicing daily with the foundations I have learned (wuji/zhan zhuang being a key part of this).

The 'Masters' I have followed/learnt from (reading their materials/watching their videos/attending classes) are:
- Ken Cohen
- Bruce Frantzis
- Yang Jwim-Ming
- Damo Mitchell.

Plus many others along the way!

I hope to learn and share some ideas/reflections particularly about core/daily practice as well as expanding spiritually.

Hi deepblue,

Great to have you here. Seems like you’re already quite experienced with some Daoist arts. Welcome and enjoy.

You are welcome to jump right in to the ongoing discussions, revive an older thread, start a new thread of your own, or start a discussion in the "Newcomer Corner" sub-forum to expand on your introduction or ask general questions to help you get started.

May you enjoy your time here.

Fa Xin
