The Tao alone nourishes and brings everything to fulfillment. This is about how coarse people do not identify virtue when they see it, "they laugh out loud".Going forward seems like retreat If you invest your time in self-cultivation a coarse person might say you are "giving up" ... well "giving up" is finding a new solution. The highest Virtue seems empty A coarse person might say "where will peace get you" ... well peace is the answer. The perfect square has no corner hmm ... coarse people look for imperfection, for noise, for corners, for jagged things, for betrayal, for war ... it is only this they can understand. Even a square with such obvious pointy bits, does not cause disturbance to a sage who no longer clings to corners, he is a still lake even when the pointy bits of a coarse world come to him. Which is very beautiful however we can also say that if people need war in order to grow because that's where they are at .... then war. That is the message of the Bhagavad Gita you must war if you need to. If you do not war then you will not grow but shrivel up meaninglessly. Also conceal your illumination.
