Crying and Death..

Recommended Posts

I dont know. I think it is between celebatory and reconciliation. Its stages and fundamentals. Caring and passing. Intuition/ perseverance..  Some other perspectives would be within persons interest.

Crying has often been a good kind of release for me.. The truth can often hurt. Crying helps come to terms with how things are.. It's a certain amount of death, reminding me to work on kindness and humility, well, gives me the space to make it come more naturally for me.. Things then might not be as bad as they seemed before.

It's okay to cry.  It will mess up your makeup though.

Yes, crying is a release.  Tears of sadness but also tears of joy.

Sure, death of a friend, parent, etc brings us sadness.  Cry if that is the natural thing to do.  (But no pretend tears.)

Death is just the completion of a cycle.  Totally natural.

Again, Buddhism helps here with the concept of attachment.  Nothing is permanent.

What are "pretend tears" really?

You apparently haven't been around many women who do the drama thing.  They can produce tears any time they want if they think it will help them get what they want.

I read a short book about it once by Melidoma Some. It is an interesting topic and well to know. There is continual loss in this world..

I would suggest death is the end of crying.

Some we are aware of.

Much we are not.

Some with great and lasting significance, others not so much.

Watched the Zen movie. They all meditated instead of or while crying..

You can meditate any time, any place, anywhere. If you meditate whilst crying, you'll probably find you won't cry as much in the long-term.
