After what time Juice turns into tamas?

Recommended Posts

Dear ones,

There is a lot of knowledge of yoga availible, yet I cannot find one information.

It is said that cooked food after 1,5 hours is as if dead, totally tamasic.

How about fruits? When you squeeze the juice out of an orane or grapefruit how long it can last?

Say I want to have one in my work, but cannot squeeze it out at my work and have it fresh, so I am thinking of preparing them at home in the morning.

Looking forward to see some answears based on knowledge.

I'm guessing their mentioning prana/chi goes out of the food, since a rajastic personality is one of wild uncontrolled lifeforce and tamastic one is unconsciouss/no light/no chi, so that applied to food.

In that case one should be able to figure it out on their own by sensing the chi in the food....better the better they can do this.

I think its like this... most cooked food is going to molder really fast and is going to smell really bad, while most raw fruits are going to ferment and you will get some prebiotic bacteria also. Also some alcohol but it has to ferment for a few days.

So i think you dont need to worry.
