Capitalism, private property and sociopathy

Recommended Posts

Only a corrupted government can bail out capitalist corporations and banks.

In other countries they put the banking leaders in jail, which we should have done.

This has nothing to do with capitalism, it has everything to do with socialism.

You have been duped, tricked and lied too. There is no socialism. This is the boogeyman capitalist scream when their system fails.

True socialism is coming. It will save the world in the nick of time.

Fixed that for you...

;)

Actually, I think all "isms" are inherently problematic. What politicians call "capitalism" is almost always something more akin to Mussolini-style corporatism than to the natural exchange people adopt when not herded into an "ism." Collectivism is the nastiest "ism" of all because it is a sugary fraud, promising what it cannot deliver and usurping liberty in the process.

It is not fixed Brian. There is private ownership and that is capitalism. Socialism has ZERO classes. There is no country with zero classes. Nice try though Brian when you see the world crumbling and staggering with poor and mistreated because of capitalism it is quite sickening.

Does it bother you at all that every sincere attempt to implement Socialism writ-large has not just failed but failed in spectacular fashion?

Does it bother you that you don't practice what you preach?

You cannot practice it. It is impossible while capitalism is here. why don't you read the links I provide which explains that in detail

Socialism has never been implemented. Your failed system is to blame.

Do you have a paying job?

Do you have a TV?

A smartphone?

A home computer?

Are you on Medicare/Medicaid?

Live in public housing?

Buy groceries?

Ever go to a restaurant?

These are not rhetorical questions...

Eventually you need to see that there is no separation between socialism and capitalism.

Capitalism grows to corrupt governments, creating socialism. (been happening in USA)

Socialism leads to internal struggle and war, the people demand more freedom, creating capitalism. (been happening in china)

On a form of sociopathy.

There was a man who wanted some extra supplies so he grabbed a sack of grain and headed off to the market to trade for some wine and colorful fabric. He had a good crop and plenty of grain. On his way to the market he walked by a property and heard someone calling out. "help" He walked down the path to the home where he found a family, dreadfully thin due to starvation. The eldest man said his crops were destroyed and they were trying to make it longer but were starving to death.

The man with the grain looked around. " perhaps you should have protected your fields a little better." shrugs and heads off to market with his grain.

Story 2

There was a man who wanted some extra supplies so he grabbed a sack of grain and headed on to the market to trade for some wine and colorful fabric. He had a good crop and plenty of grain. On his way to the market he walked by a property and heard someone calling out. "help" He walked down the path to a home where found a family, dreadfully thin due to starvation. The eldest man said his crops were destroyed and they were trying to make it longer but were starving to death.

The man with the grain dropped the sack and fetched some water and began cooking up grain for the family. He told them they could keep the grain he was glad he could help.

There is enough food right now on this planet that no one should be starving, but a lack of empathy (sociopath) demands that the starving people be allowed to starve and will rationalize by any mean necessary that there way is a good way.

Or you could look at story number 2 as a totalitarian dictator. The problem with the world is too many people who are story number one.

Here IMO is an excellent article explaining why I believe what I believe.

This is not a system of compassion, modesty or humility it is a brutal system of social Darwinism.

My recent exchanges leave me distressed that any suggestion of understanding of the human condition as Eusocial and a collective endeavor opens one to the demagogic response that you are a Socialist.  Thus we all should accept this, and by extension  accept that one is in reality a Communist in all the  implied negative connotations.

Beyond the need of such a person's, a one trick pony's, need to malign an other's  pov, is their insistence that they, and only they, can transcribe your true  intents, resolve your true motivations, into their one clear truth.  You are a Communist.  You are a participant in the "long march" that seeks to restrain and kill the individual sovereignty that they espouse as the one true nature of being Human.

After a while, after the never ending insistency that you get back into their queue  it is time to break communications with them and in your best colloquialism inform them of their condition.  One need not see nor hear the "farting ape" in the tree.

[...] Unbridled Capitalism can lead to feudalism.  I find the sweet spot to be European style socialism.  Where there's a strong social net in place and a capitalist market place, but that's just me.  Not without problems, but I think it leads to happier, healthier, free-er people.

The good thing is this doesn't have to be an intellectual argument, you can vote with your feet!

When the disparity of wealth and income reach the current level, is seems reasonable to seek redress.  The "vote with your feet! " or the "if you don't like what I like" get the fuck out argument is too narrow.  Change can be implemented by the vote.

One day we will evolve to the star trek future. It is happening now. We will not be around to see it but it will happen in the not too far future.
