The movie of Lao Zi

Recommended Posts

Awaken,

I just want you to know that I just spent an hour and a half watching that movie.

I don't know if I should thank you or blame you.

Well, I won't tell you enough so that you feel you no longer have to watch it.

It wasn't just about Lao Tzu but contained within the story plot the life of many other people.  It is actually a nice drama movie.

The part about Lao Tzu wondering to the West and sharing his wisdom with the Duke(?) is according to what I have gained from reading comments in various texts and on the internet.

And yes, he was riding on an ox (water buffalo), not an ass.

And yes, it reflected reality as I would expect life was like back then.

Well worth watching.

Do you prefer xiawu ä¿ æ¦ movies? Do you have a good documentary from Taiwan on Daoism in Chinese? I have noticed some clips from Haikong

and wonder what do you think about his interventions.

Yes, I like 武俠。

空海's road is similar to me.

But I have not read much from him.

I read Buddhism sutras or Daoist texts directly.

There are many masters in Taiwan.

They teach on TV.

But I don't like to see that film.

It is boring, too.

And it is too easy.

Most of those films are for beginners.

I am a beginner so anything that you can point out will be worth my search.
