Hi from Germany

Recommended Posts

Hi i am a man living in Germany.

I studied marital arts at Masters from Korea.

It was Tae Kwon Do and Ten Animal Kung Fu.

I love beeing friendly and happy and i love to smile a lot.

I was raised as a Katholic when i was about 15 years old i felt that the Katholik teaching did not touch my heart.

Than i had a long time of drinking, smoking, having parties, chasing women.

When i was about 35 years old i felt that my heart was sad of all this behaviour.

It took a long time to let the drugs go. Finaly i was living a "clean" life with no drugs and no meat eatin.

I was trying to become a Hindu. This is much better than beeing a christion in my humble opinion.

After all i felt that Daoism is the teaching that touches me most.

And i feel that the Chinese marital arts are influenced by Daoism and Konfuzius.

So i am at home now with my faith.

May be we can chat or be in Contact any way.

Best regards Eduard Heinrich Alfons alias LaoHu

Hello LaoHu, and welcome.

Your membership is approved and we're happy you found your way to us. We look forward to accompanying you on some of the way that you still have to go.

Please take the time to read the two posts pinned at the top of this Welcome page and take a look at the forum terms and rules. This covers all you need to know when getting started.

For the first week you will be restricted to ten posts per day but after that you can post as much as you like. Also, until you’ve posted fifteen times in the forums, you’ll be a “Junior Bum” with somewhat restricted access and will be allowed only two private messages per day.

Good luck in your pursuits and best wishes to you,

Marblehead and the TDB team

Hi LaoHu,

Welcome home.  It shouldn't be too hard for you to get comfortable here.  (Some of our current members are hard-headed Germans.)

You are welcome to jump right in ongoing discussions, revive an older thread, start a new thread of your own, or start a discussion in the "Newcomer Corner" sub-forms to expand on your introduction or ask general questions to help you get started.

May you enjoy your time here.

Marblehead
