Any opinions about the seated version of the 8 brocades by Olson Stuart ?

I mean the version as explained in 'qigong teachings of a taoist immortal'.

I think there is a lot of good information in the book, I have some difficulties in comprehending the fifth brocade (single pass windlass) and the sixth brocade (double pass windlass).

There is a very good seated brocade video on YouTube. The windlass postures are much simpler.

However the Olson book is really interesting.

I recall quite enjoying "Eight Brocade Seated QiGong," though I am not sure how this book differs from his "qigong teachings of a taoist immortal" book.

The one I read was full of textual explorations which gave multiple perspectives when it came to actually exploring the how-to of the practice near the end of the book. I only ever did the first four though.

Curious now about how the teachings of this book differ from that book.
